and at the worst of times
part of me knows
but here's a funny story
as funny as tedious can be

two dimensional
clearly dressed
stamp on the wall
she welcomes a following
taking up the whole hall
standing
pottering
baby steps now and then
in sight is the goal
passing the door for the seated

soon, the need is greater
resolved
weaving between the lines
may the waters flow
cleaned up, time to go

though do those who drank in the sights deep why they sow?
