Gray
She lights one up
A cigarette that is
Wisps of smoke linger in the freezing air
She takes a drag
Her teeth wrapping around it
Tombstones in a graveyard
A graveyard filled with
Sadness
HAte
Remorse
Vacant of any loving souls
The only thing to caress her cheek
Are the smoke and her tears
Which slip
Silent as people in a black and white movie
Unlike her life
Which only consists of
Infinite grays
And dots of red
Appearing at her wrists
Like valleys
As deep as the Grand Canyon
Have been sketched
To relive the weight of the gray
And relief will come
As the color leaks out of her
Leaving her colourless
Only a shade
She takes another drag
As her eyes droop
And her head falls
To her chest
As the last of her color
Disappears
With her cigarette
Glowing duly
But that,
Like everything must,
Died
