SYNOPSIS . .

KILLIAN JONES ALSO KNOWN AS CAPTAIN HOOK was not the only one to inhabit the waters of Neverland.

Merpeople lurked in the depths and had for centuries. A fiercely protective people, willing to do anything for those they love. Known for their hypnotic-like singing voices which could bring about even the deadliest of storms resulting in being feared by many all across the realms. Along with most assuming the worst at first.

Hook was not an exception to that the day he met Nereida, considering her species the most dangerous sort in all the seas.

However, from that sprouted an acquaintanceship of sorts until it grew into something else. Her visits to the Jolly Roger became more and more frequent until she could put a name to the feeling of ever-growing. Love.

But the mermaid did not get the happy ending told repeatedly in early childhood stories.
She wouldn't know how Killian felt as she was dragged away from Neverland and away from him. And when she arrived back on the lonely little island, he was no longer there.

Until they were reunited when she was pulled up aboard his ship, curled up in a net during a nasty storm.

this was an impulsive decision after watching a few captain swan & hook edits 😀 but im gonna be honest,, most of my fics I've posted recently have been lmfao
