After the conversation with his mother, Lincoln carefully carried the puppy into his room. Where he covered her in a blanket and did some research on what to feed her.

"Let's see...This site says that I can give you solid food, but only on a small scale or else your stomach will reject it." Lincoln said. While the puppy just tilted her head and stared at him. At the same time, Lucy came in and was going to ask Lincoln for help with her newest poem when she noticed the puppy.

"Hey Lincoln..What rhymes with...Why is there a puppy in your room?" Lucy asked.

"Hey Lucy. This is a puppy that I found while I was out walking...I couldn't leave her so I brought her here." Lincoln said.

"What did Mom say about it?" Lucy said.

"I have to take care of her myself to show that I can keep her. If I'm able to then..I'll think of a name." Lincoln said.

"Alright. Do you need me to get you anything?" Lucy asked.

"Yes. Can you get me some water and a bowl please. I think she's thirsty." Lincoln said. Lucy nodded and went downstairs to get the items that Lincoln asked for. While Rita was thinking about the puppy and what to do with it..when she noticed Lucy grabbing some water and a bowl.

"Lucy...Why are you grabbing a water bottle and a bowl?" Rita asked.

"Lincoln asked me to get him these items. Besides he's trying to figure out how much to give her since she's starving." Lucy said.

"You mean..He's taking this seriously?" Rita asked.

"Yeah. He really wants to help her and wants to bring her back to health. Besides having her around May help Lincoln since he has to deal with Lori and Lynn a lot." Lucy said. As she left, Rita started to think of keeping the puppy especially since she's a stress relief for her son. A son that has to deal with her oldest and fifth oldest daughters..more times than necessary. 

Meanwhile Lana was going down the stairs and saw Lucy carrying some things which made her life her left eyebrow.

"Lucy..What are you doing?" Lana asked.

"Getting this stuff for Lincoln." Lucy said.

"Why?" Lana asked.

"So he can give the puppy he found earlier some water." Lucy said.

"Did you say Puppy?!" Lana exclaimed gaining the attention of Lincoln's other sisters excluding Lori who was at the mall and Lynn who was at soccer practice.

"A puppy? Where is it?" Lola asked.

"Lincoln's room. He's taking care of it." Lucy said.

 After she said that, all of the girls rushed to see the puppy while grabbing Lucy in the process. Unaware of the changes that will come with the acceptance of this new family member.
