Disappearance
It's been several hours since Lincoln left the house and the girls were all watching dreamboat. Rita looked at the scene with anger...it was 6:00 and Lincoln never called yet her daughters don't seem to care about their brother. Eventually she marched over and snatched the TV remote before turning off the TV.
"Mom...Why did you do that?" Lori Asked.
"I wonder why too since my son hasn't been seen for a couple of hours now and my daughters seem more interested in the TV then wondering where Lincoln is at." Rita Said with an agreed tone.
"Who cares about Lincoln..He told our secrets." Lola Said before her mother glared at her.
"I don't care what he did...I want one of you to go get Lincoln and bring down here." Rita Said before the girls started to complain.
"NOW!!" Rita yelled. Lori sighed and eventually walked up towards Lincoln's room where she knocked on the door in irritation.
"Twerp...Get our of here now. Mom is worried about you." Lori Said. She received no response which made her extremely angry. So angry that she kicked open the door only to see that Lincoln wasn't in his room.
"Mom...Lincoln's not in his room." Lori Said.
"WHAT?!" Rita yelled before she rushed over to see that it was true.
"Calm Down Mom...Maybe he's at Clyde's." Lori Said with an indifferent tone.
"Alright...I'll give the McBrides a call." Rita Said before slowly went downstairs back to the phone where she dialed the McBrides number. It was soon apparent that Lincoln wasn't there which brought tears to her eyes.
"Well Lincoln's not there." Rita Said.
"I'm sure he's staying with another friend Mom." Lynn Said.
"What's with that tone Lynn? Your brother is missing yet you're acting like it's a huge inconvenience. You know what...All of you are grounded." Rita yelled.
"What?!" The Girls cried.
"Don't try to change my mind. It's clear that the protocol that you girls came up with drove Lincoln away. So for now on....That protocol is abolished." Rita Said.
"What it's fine." The Girls argued. Eventually Lynn Sr. Came in and looked at the scene with confusion.
"What's going on?" Lynn Sr. Asked.
"Lincoln's gone missing...Lynn." Rita Said.
"What?!" Lynn Sr. Said.
"And The Girls don't seem to care." Rita Said.
"Girls...Is what your mother saying true." Lynn Sr. Asked.
"Yeah. But can you blame us...Lincoln meddled in the protocol and almost made us fight again." Lola argued.
"Who cares about that stupid protocol. Your brother...your only brother could have been kidnapped yet it's all that you girls care about. Your mother and I had faith that you girls can work out your issues by yourself and we foolishly approved that protocol. Now I see that it was a huge mistake." Lynn Sr. Said.
"But Dad..." Lynn Jr. argued.
"Before you try to argue with us Junior...Let me ask you guys something....Where does your brother fit in the protocol?" Lynn Sr. Asked.
"But Lincoln's a boy and he wouldn't understand..." Lori Said before her parents glared at her.
"Just because Lincoln's a boy isn't an excuse Lori. For now on...Your mother and I are getting involved in your fights. I hope that your protocol was worth it in the end kids because you drove out your only brother out to the wolves all because you couldn't find a good solution to your problem." Lynn Sr. Said.
"But we did get an agreement...I get a dress on everyday that doesn't end in Y." Leni Said.
"That's not a good solution Leni. You and your sister could have shared the dress yet you started this stupid protocol. Now girls go to your rooms. We'll talk about your punishments after we call all the parents of Lincoln's friends and try to find him." Rita Said.
The girls slowly walked upstairs in anger. While the parents went to work trying to find their son unaware of the spirit watching them with a smirk before disappearing.
