I walked the woods today, so dark and deep,
It had tall trees, almost dark as the night but devoid of sleep.
The cold rushed through me, I shivered on my feet,
Because it was here that the memories and you and me meet.
Your memories invaded my mind,
All those moments with you, my brain seemed to rewind.
I lost myself in your beautiful eyes,
I flowed with you, the person so full of lies.
The trees however seemed to cry,
They seemed to send wishes up to the sky.
But those wishes of you and me came crashing down,
I saw them breaking on the ground and in a sea of hopelessness they drowned.
