Personality:
As a young girl, Cheryl had always seemed to be a bit slow in her head and apparently she was very sheltered by her parents in order to keep her safe. Even though she was safe from harm, her sister, however, was a semi-bad influence on her personality-wise to where she became much more destructive rather than tame as she grew up a little older. Because of that, and for physically living in a graveyard for a while, Cheryl had developed a mischievous side to herself despite always displaying a straight face in the eyes of the public. This mischievous side of hers mainly show to the surface when she is in a tight spot and dealing with her fear. Things that make her highly cautious and uncomfortable leads to her destructive side-- her troubling ways of dealing things keep her mind occupied so that the cause of it didn't scare her as much. It soon became a bad habit as well, which makes it known to other allies to steer clear from her or put a good distance in between. Even though the traps she set up are made for someone else to fall into, there are times where she'll fall into it herself due to believing whether it didn't work or forgetting where the trap was located thanks to her short memory span-- she isn't very good at memorizing things. Her pranks also seem to inflict physical pain onto the victim she picks, but the level of pain depends on who it is from very harmful to enemies all the way to little pain to her friends. Cheryl is very sweet, however, even though she looks quite stoic and cold through her outside appearance and the way her pranks do involve small amounts of pain which can be a bit misleading. She just doesn't understand that pain in a prank mean a lot of concequences can happen. One would say she's the complete opposite of her sister personality and expression wise. Her way to communicate with others always end shortly with a pause before another short sentence comes out of her mouth which displays her slower side of things-- she surprisingly enough knows big words and talks quite scholarly in rare occations and it is probably because of her sister. There are also times where she'd stop mid-sentence and simply walk away because of forgetting what she was about to say. It leaves many very confused, not that she is aware of it. Being slow is no problem for her; sometimes Cheryl actually takes it as a luxury thinking that she wouldn't have to work as hard as others though it is highly false. Weirdly enough, she has her own bright ways to keep up with the others at hand. Her slowness could be the result of just merely being lazy and highly spoiled by Sylvia while in reality she is capable of figuring things out on her own and taking care of herself-- in short, she really could just be lazy rather than "slow" and has not honed her intelligence enough to utilize it properly. Her short attention span, however, is real and does kick in whenever it likes to, which makes her really clumsy and pretty clueless at times.

Appearance:
Light lavender hair, deep rouge eyes, and milky skin

Cheryl has, oddly enough, both short and long layered hair that looks like a short bob up to the nape of her neck while the longer locks are tied up into low pigtails pulled over her shoulders up to her waist. Her bangs frame the center of her face and sweep out towards both sides-- it slightly reaches up to her curvy large eyes-- with the locks framing her face curling inward up to her cheekbones. Her hair is tied up by loose rouge cloths accented with two pale pink lines in the center which act as ribbons.

Cheryl's outfit consists of a silver foldable mask piece that rests around her neck comfortably and acts like a turtleneck-- it is normally seen pulled down. Pulling it up to cover her lower face will have it locked in to shape similar to a short triangular beak with four slits for her to breathe through. Around her waist is a silver belt guarding her sides from damage-- the center of the metal pieces is a darker silver color. She is seen wearing a deep rouge to maroon colored dress with long puffy sleeves tied by yellow ribbons around her wrists. Her sleeves also act as fingerless gloves with visible vertical seams running down. Her dress has a tall maroon lace-cut collar with vertical seams visibly decorating her upper body-- the maroon section reaches to her shoulders, collar bone, and part of her shoulder blades where her puffy sleeves meet. It is matched with two pale pink accents and decorated with deep purple lace cuts to merge in with her deep rouge dress for the lower body. The dress is slit down the middle and secured by three loose yellow ties with a bow on each end. In the center of her dress is a maroon flap cut sharp at the end like a teardrop and decorated in thick gold accents from bottom to top-- it reaches to her knees. Her dress is cut similarly to a tail coat at the ends-- front and back-- and is decorated in deep purple frills at the edges with the front reaching her knees and the back reaching above her calves-- her sleeves and the skirt of her dress also has the same pale pink accent running around it. Under the first dress happens to be a deep purple dress with a lace cut all around and maroon mesh connected under it reaching past her thighs. Both the flap that covers her front and her primary dress is decorated by a silver metal piece at the ends. Cheryl happens to wear maroon socks that reach below her knees; the sides are laced up by black laces, but it is not seen tied up anywhere. Her brown boots reach up to her shin with the neck of the boots folded inside out to reveal gold on the inside and pale pink lace patterns decorating at the start of the fold-- it also dons dark brown soles. Her ankles are decorated by gold accents stopping where the boots are seen laced up on the side by black laces tied into bows.

Biography:
Cheryl was born in the year of 385 in the Valentian calendar and the year of 590 in the Arcanean calendar. As the younger sister of Sylvia, Cheryl was spoiled with lots of love and attention and at the same time she also nitpick around a certain amount of traits her sister had-- more specifically the chaotic side of her. Meanwhile, her parents did their best to shelter the two away from the dangers of the world. Though the family was more on the poorer side of town-- possibly near the borderline even-- her parents were able to make it into jobs such as shop managers and caretakers for the nobles and their children. Their jobs consisted of mockery and a lot of condescension much to their discomposure towards work, but they stubbornly worked for their dear daughters' sake. Their two daughters were brought along with them to work so that both parents-- Mark and Imogen-- could keep their eyes on the troublesome eldest daughter and the fragile youngest. During the times their parents worked, Sylvia always pampered Cheryl up by dressing her up in what little clothes they had in their closet before they headed off to the workplace and even doing her hair in various styles while as for the other times they have left she is seen chanting random words as if creating a witchcraft. Cheryl always found it weird when she did it, but paid no mind to her constantly weird chanting and watched out of curiosity-- secretly she thought it was pretty stupid of Sylvia to do so. Eventually, Imogen was called to transfer over to another noble's residency by herself for a higher pay, but after that transfer she was never heard from again. Fear struck Mark and Sylvia from Imogen's sudden vanishing and they had no idea what could have happened to her, though Cheryl understood nothing of the circumstances at the time due to being too young. Her father continued to bring the girls with him to work in order to earn the little money he could each day and try to keep his daughters safe as he dreaded the disappearance of his wife, but soon after, his dread turned to forever a foreboding emotion once Cheryl was taken away as well.

Before the events of her kidnap, Cheryl stuck around her sister like glue. The money-greedy man who took her had planned to take Sylvia as his main target for being more attractive, but he soon thought best of it once he found out about her capabilities in what little magic she held knowledge of through her times of self-studies. Cheryl was quickly switched from his "secondary" target to his main target from then on-- she was light and incapable of fighting him back which made it a lot easier for him to run off with and brigands usually liked younger looking women. It wasn't too long until she was immediately snatched away from her elder sister-- whom she was very fond of-- in an instant and hauled off to be sold away to some pirates for gold. During her kidnap, Cheryl noticed that the man looked familiar to her, but she couldn't tell why he did-- it is most likely because she's seen him pass by her line of sight every hour when she was in her sister's company just she didn't bother to remember. Days later after a long travel to where she was going to be bought, the young girl was spotted nearby a remote village with said man hauling her like a sack of potatoes. The village guards felt uncomfortable at his presence and swiftly labeled him as a suspicious being, doing everything they could to save her from their new threat. Swarmed and outnumbered by countless of villagers, the man was quickly attacked at their sight of him, but before he could've been severely hurt, he managed to escape from what could've been worst than just injuries as well as tossed the girl aside as his scapegoat. It was then Cheryl was passed to and ended up being raised by a sweet young female farmer in the village, Gina, after her rescue now that she couldn't return home. During her life on the farm, Cheryl was taught to wield a weapon-- a pitchfork at the time as a spear-- and also was taught how to tend to animals at the farm by the rest of the villagers. They all treated her like one of them and took the best care of her as they possibly could. Even the children would swarm and play with her thinking she may be lonely or traumatized after being kidnapped. She enjoyed her time at the village, but in reality she really missed her own family and hoped they aren't too worried about her as they were with her mother. Seeing that she wasn't very happy where she resided, the villagers continued to beckon her to stay in order to keep her from traveling by herself unprotected and under-trained. Cheryl knew she was incapable of fighting alone, yet she continued to clench her teeth and beared with it longer.

Despite the village being peaceful and welcoming, chaos continued to spread across the land for years. It grew worse each day even after King Lima IV's death. Soon after his death, numerous noble soldiers came to visit villages to simply pull out their fighters in order to have their backs defended from the terrors that rose and attacked the higher-ups as well as their own towns and even get them to fend off possible invasions that were now suspected to happen-- they certainly cared not for the villages since they end up leaving several damaged or even in ruins as they go along the way. Cheryl was one of the people among the villagers who was taken away simply because she could hold a weapon. She was then assigned to a graveyard after being drafted in with a measely unhealthy pegasus as her partner. A sharpened long stake she received was her weapon after she was put into the graveyard as a watchdog. Small portions of daily food were usually brought to her from afar so that she could stay alive enough to fight and the people delivering the food don't get attacked by the terrors-- she is a huge distraction to them however because she is the closest target. Though there was little food, she still made sure her pegasus ate something like carrots she received or other provisions she can luckily find. Bigger portions of food were usually secretly brought over to her by her fellow villagers in order to aid her and her pegasus, but it couldn't come often because if they were caught, they would be put in a similar situation as Cheryl or plainly killed. During her time at the graveyard, Cheryl was unable to sleep well because of her fear towards the terrors and the possibilities of dying in her sleep. The terrors mainly kept her awake and sleeping in a bare tree was uncomfortable. Her pegasus was also something she needed to take care of especially because of how weak Flor was in general. Once her mount begins to panic, she knows that she can't sleep because of the terrors trying to attack Flor. Most of her time in the graveyard consisted of luckily surviving with new scratches each day, running away to stay safe, and defending herself when she is desperate. Cheryl also happened to self-teach herself making traps to survive and stay sane. Times later, she was then found and saved once more, this time by Celica's army who had noticed the frey she had trouble fighting off. She quickly offered and begged to come with them, in which Celica accepted instantly to get her out of her situation and have her in a better clothes compared to the rags she was in. Despite being free, she grew to fear being around graveyards and terrors.
