   FORGIVE ME FATHER FOR I HAVE SINNED! It had been 10 years since Francesca Margret Jameson's last confession and she sincerely desired to leave all evil ways. I am a sinner, have mercy on me, O Lord!

   She was raised up to be the pastor's daughter, the Lord's pride and joy. the good Pastor Jameson was a man who smote sin with the hide of his belt, instilling the fear of god into innocent eyes. She kept her hair precise, her uniform pressed and her studies and grades remained perfect. No makeup marred her skin because our body's were not made to be defiled, a rosary draped along her neck — close to her heart.

   Francesca danced ballet only when Sister Marie had recommended it, 'you carry the grace of god with you child.' She'd spoken. It became an out once the house of God became on of horror. Because Frankie began to grow and flourish, she was now a child of sin.

   'You have Lucifer within you my child.' He'd tell her, placing an unsettling hand along her knee. 'You needn't worry, I shall smite the devil within.' Francesca had not known then how wrong it really was, she still had only a faint idea.

   But she was taught to honor thy father.

   An out took form in Matthew Murdock — a lost souls roaming about St. Agnes' Orphanage.

   Matt and Frankie were always close, knowing whatever the other needed just by a single word, a lingering touch. It was no surprise that their friendship became something more, a connection that would lead to the birth of Jack Jr. (or JJ as he prefers).

   He never knew about the birth of their son, Francesca hadn't even realized she was pregnant until Matthew had left, the religious trauma branded on their skin like a cross.

   Frankie wouldn't see them until years later, when Francesca sent out an email, telling Matthew he had a son. She would dance as Giselle as Mathew bonded with JJ, twirl as an obsessive killer tore up the world in her name.

   But we all know of course, a Lily of the Valley is known for its deadly sweet smell !

Originally, the story is very different from what I have now. I felt inspired to change it to this because I myself have religious/childhood trauma. As much as I loved the original version, this feels more real, more true to what a Daredevil comic could be, a storyline it's writer(s) could flesh out.

There is some inspiration taken from the likes of 'The Witch' among other medias.
