Lilith's POV

The chirping of the birds on my window sill woke me up. It was after 9 in the morning. How long have I slept for? I can't even remember what happened yesterday but I had a dream that Zilch came to me at school. She was angry so I asked why and she said "I left you here because i thought you could finish what I started but you are a massive disappointment."  I was puzzled by her words. What was she doing before her death? She was very discreet so I wouldn't know.  "You have developed love for them"  She yelled with venom. My dream was distorted when she raised her lengthy strident tail and flashed it across my chest causing more blood to flow from my heart. Who was she talking about though? I shrugged my shoulders and got ready to attend school.

When I walked through the gate, every eyes were bestowed upon me. I kept my gaze forward and continued strolling for my classes. As I roamed the halls, more gazes landed on me. What did i do now? I kept asking myself. They all snickered as i passed them by one by one. I even heard them whisper 'witch' most of the time. "Lilith?" I heard my name bellowed from about a mile away. "I am hoping you do not have any classes now" Mr. Clarke said as he approached me. I got coy as he came closer. I tucked a loose strand of my hair behind my ear "Uh- uhhh" Crap! He made me so speechless. He gave me his signature breathtaking smile. "I need to talk to you. Promise it wont be long" I nodded and he took my hand and brought me to his office. It was air conditioned and smelt great. Just like him. He was closing the curtains and pulling out a chair for me to be seated right my his side. It seemed to be a serious matter so I immediately wiped the grin off my face. 

He sat and lean backwards in his chair while I slouched my back in the rather cold, hard chair. He looked at me seriously. He took a deep breath "Do you know Emily Saunders?" He asked seriously. I stuttered once more. "Uh.... I... I Don't know." "Come on Lilith, she's in all your classes" He butted in seriously. He was making me even more nervous. Suddenly my senses flashed back in me. I do remember her. She is the only one who ever says hi to me. "Yes i know her. Uh huh" I told him nodding my head. "Well. Unfortunately." He sighed in exasperation. What was he hiding. "She... Uh.. She-" He was cut off by the door being barged open. "Lilith Hargreaves, you are under arrest for the attempted murder of Emily Saunders." 

The man in black commanded then held me by force before tightening the cold iron cuffs on my wrists behind me. The students were at... Ease? They should be shocked, right? A 17 year old girl being framed for murder! I hate them. They were filming the whole scene. I glared at them deviously. The detective walked with me out of the school halls to his car. "You witch!" I heard an angry Sarah yelled then a heavy, hard brick was thrown and landed in my forehead and i fell to the ground. Faintly watching as the blood drain into my face. "That's for my best friend bitch!" She shouted and I blacked out right then and there!
