"Et vulnera sana eam recipere. Sed per vitam illius ut non sit permanere. Sanguis eius in ipso manare, et non derelinquet illud et frigus. Ne plus illam efluunt statim in venas et praematura e somno expergiscitur." Michael's voice became raspy and filled with the magic of these words as he repeated them over, and over again. He stayed like that for what could have been minutes, or hours, or days, until he collapsed, the excessive magic finally taking it's toll. 

The moment he fell to the floor, Nora took a shaky breath, and opened her eyes to the world. Her eyes opened not as the green they were before, but as a bright, glimmering silver. She gripped the sheets as panic set in. She sat bolt upright in this new place, breathing heavily. She noticed Michael on the floor and get out of the bed to kneel beside him. 

"Michael," she said, gripping his shoulder and shaking him slightly. Her voice came out as a choked rasp, and her thirst suddenly hit her. She felt as if it had been days since she'd had a drink of water. There was a pitcher by the bed, and she paid the drinking glass no mind as she grabbed it and drank the whole pitcher. This calmed her down a little bit. She took in her surroundings. She was in some kind of cabin. Michael seemed to be unconscious on the floor. 

The last thing she remembered was being in Micheal's arms. She had killed Emma with that knife, and then nothing. Her entire world went black. On an impulse she reached her arm behind herself and felt up and down her back. She could feel the raised skin of a scar that she didn't remember having. She took in her surroundings again, the pieces of what had happened falling into place. Her eyes fell on Michael's unconscious form and the final piece fell into place.

"What have you done Michael?" She whispered to know one in particular. 

Sorry this chapter is so short but I felt like there wasn't really anything else to add.
