it was friday night yeji asked seunghoon, if he wanted to hang out at her apartment, since she was a little sick and didn't want to go out. without having to discuss a lot they decided for a movie and ordered some food.

"if you had one wish, what would you wish for?"

seunghoon's sudden outburst caused yeji to roll her eyes. "don't talk to me after 1am, it only leads to embarassing conversations."

"i thought we were friends" he complained, but he hadn't given up on getting a reply yet. "no, really, i'm just curious."

"huuum." she remained quiet for a while. "i would wish to forget. how about you?"

actually he wasn't sure himself, but he also wanted to give her an honest reply. "i'm not sure, maybe i would wish to know, how it would be to feel loved."

it was embarassing; seunghoon didn't even know since when he had grown to that wish, because before he felt okay the way he was.

the girl across from him at the end of the sofa pulled the blanket tighter around her shoulders. "one day you will, but you should know, that it can also fucking hurt."

the following silence was only interrupted by the sounds of the movie and made seunghoon feel uncomfortable; there was a question that had been going on for a while and he still wasn't sure wheather to ask her or not.

in the end he decided, that it's no big deal and simply spilled it out.

"hey yeji?"

"yeah?"

"one of my friends will host a halloween party next week and i lowkey dislike halloween, would you mind coming along? going there alone is so boring."

the girl bursted out laughing, which quickly turned into a cough. "if i feel better, then yes."

"thank you."

yeji thought about the question a little more and kept laughing internally. "ahh hoony?"

"don't call me that, but yes?"

"do we have to wear costumes? i'd really enjoy the sight of you wearing a zombie costume."

"i don't know, you're mean."

"that's why we get along so well."
