You heard the familiar tune of Papyrus's theme song and looked over to Chara and Frisk. You had a flashback to a previous timeline.

"Human! I see you are approaching!" Papyrus said. You merely stared blankly at him as you walked closer.

"Free EXP!" A voice rang in your head. You smiled a little at this.

"Are you offering a hug of acceptance? It seems my lessons are already working!" He exclaimed. You were only seven feet in front of him now.

He spread his arms out wide as your smile grew wider and more insane. The world faded to black and white.

Papyrus is sparing you.

You reached for the fight button, gripping your knife in your hand. You let the button flash a bright yellow before striking through his battle body. His face was one of betrayal as his body disintegrated into dust. His skull fell onto the ground.

"W-well...that was u-unexpected. B-but, still! I believe in you! Maybe if you j-just try a little harder!" He said. You walked over to his skull, placing a foot on it. Your smile was one of pure insanity.

"H-human!" He said as you started to apply force. He cried and screamed.

"HUMAN PLEASE NO!" He begged. Finally, his skull proofed into dust.

"(Y-y/n)!" You heard Sans say.

"(Y/n)!" He said again. His voice seemed to be rising in pitch.

"(Y/n)! Focus!" Chara said. You shook your head, feeling a few tears in your eyes. You blinked them away as you looked at Chara.

"Sorry, just...a memory," you said. It was your turn and you chose to flirt with Papyrus.

"F-flirting! W-well...let's date later. After I capture you!"

You giggled and dodged his attack. The three of you kept sparing and dodging until he finally let you through.

"Well...I suppose I can't capture you three. You all are so nice and lonely! I, the Great Papyrus, may even..." He said, pausing at the end.

"N-no! I can't be your friend! I mustn't! What would Undyne think!" He said.

You smiled and so did Frisk.

"Can't we try to be friends?" Chara said. Papyrus looked down nervously.

"P-perhaps...yes! Let's try! Undyne may actually really like you three!" He said, smiling wide. You laughed a bit and hugged him along with Chara and Frisk.

"I'll meet you three in a little while for our date!" Papyrus said. You waved goodbye to him and looked over at Chara.

"I'm really proud of you Chara. Refusing to kill is such a big thing for you! You're doing a really good job at it, too. Keep it up, Chara!" You said. Chara smiled and blushed a little more than normal.

"Thanks, (y/n)," she said.
