How different

One year

Can make in

A lifetime

Making a wish

As the ball drops

At the end of another

Year

Another test

Another forever

Last year

As I stood around

The TV

Watching the

Insanity of

Times Square

In that instance

I closed my eyes

Very quickly

Made my wanting

My resolution

Clear for this year

Two very small things

One came true

The other one

Still working on

Totally alright

These last two weeks

Have been all about

Thought

Healing

Moving on

More thought

Now as this year

2010

Draws to a close

I am thankful

For all that I have received

Learned

And of course

Accomplished

Now all that's left

Is setting goals

For 2011

What will my

Next resolution be

What do I truly want?

What do I truly need?

In the eleventh year

Of this millennium

I want to be healthy

I want a job

A good one

Preferably the one

I deserve

I want to keep

Moving forward

With my MBA

But most importantly

With this

Resolution

I want to find

Peace

Because

Everything else

Is just icing
