You continue to try and erase the right path
You start to forge your own, but it is the wrong one

Why have you distanced yourself from me?
Do you not know that I have loved you more than all the stars in the galaxies?
You're far out there, completely out of reach

I watch as you try to make a name for yourself
You strive to fit in to this fallen world of lies and deceit
This world cannot save your drunkard spirit

Look at the distance between us
When I have only loved you more than any man could, you choose the wrong love
I will always be here, no matter how far you go out

I know when you've had too much, and you come crying back
I welcome you back, as the father and his prodigal son

There is no distance I can't overcome,
Let down your walls and receive my healing
I will restore all that the Enemy has taken from you

You're never too far away, from the Almighty God.
