Reginald Pov

I was going through some envelopes that were shoved in one of my filing cabinets. They've been there for almost a month so now I'm taking the time to do it now since I've finished some paperwork and I don't have any left which was surprising. As I was going through the envelopes, I saw a particular envelope that stood out to me. It was lavender colored with a purple star on the opening of the envelope.

I don't know how long It's been there for or when it was sent but, I opened up the envelope and there was a letter contained inside it along with what appears to be a ticket of some sort. The ticket was the same in color and with purple letters.

'Flicker Mansion... What a strange name for a mansion.' I looked at the letter and started to read it. "Dear Reginald Copperbotton, You are invited to a dinner at Flicker Mansion, at 8:00 P.M., 65 Star Ave. I would request that you wear something formal and to be on time. If you proceed to not come, you will be found and brought to the mansion whether you like it or not. I'd advise you to come so you won't have to suffer the consequences of not coming. You should also see a lavender colored ticket in the envelope. The ticket contains a secret code which you'll have to use in order to get inside the mansion. Once you use it, please insert the ticket into the slot near the front door. See you at 8:00 P.M.! -L"

'Hmm... I guess that's what the ticket is used for. Maybe I should tell the clan about this.'  Just as I was about to get up from my office chair, there was a knock at my door. "Come in", I say as I sit down again. The door opens and I see Right Hand Man and Thomas walk in. "Hello Right Hand Man and Thomas. Is there anything you need from me?" "Well... Thomas and I both received these lavender colored envelopes and we're wondering if you got one of them." Right Hand Man said as he held up the envelope. I looked down at my desk and picked up the envelope and held it to both of them. "I also got one." I said. "Well what should we do about these envelopes?" Thomas asked. "Well have you both opened the envelopes?" "I have." "Same here." "Alright. I was thinking that we should ask every clan member if they received one of these envelopes. It's almost 8 P.M. so we should hurry so we aren't late." "Yea we probably should. Should we ask that person that we captured? Dave I think is his name." "Hm... I guess so. Make sure you don't let him escape though." "Alright."

Time skip

"Alright so, is this everyone who received a lavender colored envelope?" I asked. "Yes. These are all the members who received one. Even that Dave guy." Right Hand Man said. "Alright. Everyone get ready and head into an escape pod and head to 65 Star Ave, once you are done getting ready." Everyone ran to their rooms to get ready and so did I.

At 65 Star Ave

Once we landed onto the ground, Right Hand Man and I got out and looked around. "Are we here?" I asked. "I think so." "We better find this mansion soon."

Skip to when they found the mansion (sorry for all the time skips. I'm lazy af)

"Where the f*ck is thi- We found it!" I shouted as I ran towards the mansion. "Hey wait up!" Right Hand Man yells as he runs after me. I got to the mansion and I saw a speaker in the spot of what should be a doorbell. "Hello newcomer! Welcome to Flicker Mansion! Please say the secret code that is on your ticket." The speaker says. I took out my ticket and said the code. "FlickerFlick" "Please insert the ticket into the slot below this speaker and you may head in." I put the ticket into the slot and the door opens up. I walk in and I see that the rest of the clan members, along with Dave, have arrived and some other people. I also saw the government. Well.. three of the members of the government. Along with that, I see Dimitri and a group of girls and one boy with top hats on but I've never seen them in the clan before. I could tell that the one in purple with one of her eyes covered by her hair was looking at me. I just decided to ignore it and walked to the clan members. "Hey chief. Where's Right Hand Man?" "Oh, he wa-" I got cut off by someone placing a hand on my shoulder. I turn my neck and I see Right Hand Man towering over me. "Oh hey Right Hand Man." I said. "Hey Reg." I was about to say something but I got cut off by an unfamiliar voice from a speaker. "Hello everyone! Welcome to Flicker Mansion!" "Who are you!" Ellie shouted. "That's not important. You guys are not here for a dinner, you guys are here to play..." "To play what?" Henry questioned. "Well... you guys are gonna play a game... It goes like this, there will be three teams. The good team, the evil team, and the neutral team. You guys will be assigned your team and a role on a band that you'll get around one of your wrists. Once your team and role has been given, you will get a paper on what ability you have with your role unless you don't have an ability. If you're on the Evil Team, your goal is to help the murderer and other players on your team eliminate all of the Good Team unless you are the murderer. As the murderer, you'll need to kill everyone on the Good Team. If you're on the Good Team, your goal is to help the detective, and the other Good Team members, eliminate the evil team before it's too late. If you are on the Neutral Team, you have a personal goal that doesn't involve good or evil. Also there will involve some deaths which will be most likely from the murderer or assassin. Sometimes from mysterious circumstances. That's about it so I'm gonna let you guys introduce each other in the meantime until the lights go out." "Well then. I guess we should introduce ourselves to the others even though we know that warden guy and the government." Sven said. "I guess so." Dave replied timidly. "Then let's do it!" Ellie said. Our group walked over to where the government and that warden guy. "Hello." I said to the general. General Galeforce turned his neck and his face turned from calm to anger. "The Toppats! Get ready to shoot!" Galforce shouted as he aimed his gun at us. "Is this how you want to play then, huh?" I said as I took out a gun from one of my hats and aimed it at the general. "Oh yea, I should probably mention, NO WEAPONS ALLOWED! Well unless you get handed one by me." The speaker said. Then our guns disappeared out of thin air. "Sh*t." I muttered under my breath. "Maybe we should just introduce ourselves to that group of girls a the boy." Thomas said. "Yea. We probably should." All of us walked to the group of girls + that boy. "Hello. I'm Reginald." I said cheerfully. The girl with silver colored hair looked at us and gave a small wave. "Hello Reginald." She said. The others turned their necks and gave us smiles. "Should we introduce ourselves?" The girl in gray said. "Yea."

After we all introduced ourselves the lights went out. "Huh? what's happening?!" "I can't see!" "What happened to the lights?" "I'm scared." "Alright. Everyone calm down. I think the lights went out because the game has started." I said. "But we haven't gotten assigned our team and role yet!" Unknown Writer said. "Maybe we should just sleep through this." GirlBendy suggested. "I guess so. Everyone, try and find a place to sleep in the dark and we'll think of something tomorrow morning." Everyone started walking around, trying to find a place to sleep and I went to a wall, sat down and rested my head against the wall and fell asleep. 

Ayeeee. First chapter done. I wanted to do this story for awhile but I never got around to it until now. I hope you guys like it and have a good day/afternoon/night me fellow hoomanz! 💜
