Chapter Ten

Ashley's POV

Joey and I were having a moment when Chad knocked on the door.

"Hey, guys. Get up, we're going to get food then head to the venue." He says.

"How is it that someone always ruin a moment for us?" I whispered to Joe.

"I don't know." He laughs.

"You coming?" Chad asks.

"Are you coming?" Caleb corrects.

"Yes. We're coming." I sigh. Joey pulled me up and he walked out of the room. I got dressed, choosing to wair a pale blue blouse and black skinny jeans. I made sure that I had everything before walking out. As we were walking out, I was braiding my long dark hair.

"So, where are we going? Since everybody failed to explain." Joey starts.

"A little diner, like two blocks away." Alan answers.

"Sounds yummy." Joey mumbles.

I was bored and decided to jump on Joe's back. He laughed and turned to look at me, "You comfortable?"

"Are you comfortable?" Caleb corrected.

"Actually, I am." I smile.

"Man, you and your sarcastic self." Alan laughs.

"I love being sarcastic." I grin.

"Will it ever go away?" Chad asked, rolling his eyes.

"It better not. That's one of the many reasons why I fell in love with her." Joe says, matter-of-factly.

"Now, what made you fall in love with Joe?" Caleb asks.

"Oo. That's a hard one. There's so much to love about him." I start, "Well, one of them was his sense of humor. Even if he doesn't try. He's sweet, and caring. Plus, he's adorable." I finish and kiss his cheek.

"Wow, you people talk about me like I'm not even here." Joey sighs.

"I was just naming the things I love about you. So shush it." I laugh sarcastically.

"Now, Joebro, what the other reasons why you fell in love with Ashely?" Chad asks.

"I fell in love with her sarcasm, how caring she is, how brave she is, how if she believes in something she stands up for it, her softness towards others, and how hards she works to get something she wants." Joey explain.

"I also love how you never stop supporting me." I whisper in his ear. "There isn't enough words in this world to explain how much I love you."

"I love you more than life itself." He whispers back. I blushed at that, unable to form words. Being married for almost 4 years doesn't change how you feel about them, only the fact that I love him more and more each day.

"We're here!" Alan cheers.

"Good. I'm hungry." I say.

"So I am." Joey whines.

"You two are like meant for each other." Chad laughs.

"Like you and Fallon." I say.

"Or Alan and Brycie." Caleb smiles.

"Or Caleb and Kelsey." Alan says.

"Can I say one thing?" Joey smiles, "That our wives are most definitely the best thing in our lives and most definitely what we're looking for."

"That Joe, I agree!" Alan beems.

"Most definitely." Caleb says.

"We don't always agree, but today we do!" Chad fist pumps. I laugh and got off of Joey. He took my hand and kissed my cheek.

We walked inside and actually found a booth big enough for all five of us. We looked at the menus a bit, until the waiter came to our table.

"Ready to order?" He asks.

We all order our food and drinks. Then the waiter walked away, and I noticed something about him.

"Did anybody notice that the guy was checking me out?" I ask.

"I did." Joey sighs.

"Baby. It's okay." I smile, stroking his cheek. "I couldn't imagine having a different family or husband."

"Lord, could you be any better. You're amazing." He whispers.

"I don't know." I smiled.

"Okay, lovebirds. You're making us miss our wives." Chad grumbles.

"Don't forget the kids." Alan laughs.

"But you're the only one with kids." Caleb sighs.

"Hey, in four months it'll be our 4 years." I smile, changing the subject.

"That's right." Joey whispers.

"Four years of putting up with Joe." Chad laughs.

"Actually, it would be seven." I inform.

"You make it sound like a bad thing." Joey pouts.

"I never said that." I gasp.

"Jeez, you two. I will seperate you." Alan says, wagging a finger.

I cross my arms and huff like a five year old. They all laugh at me. I glare at each and everyone of them, "You could never separate us."

"Do you wanna see me try?" Alan asks, raising an eyebrow.

"I'd like to see, but it won't happen." I laugh.

"Hey, Joe. I thought that I saw a pond with goldfish outside." Alan says, trying.

Joey stayed put, "Sorry bro."

"Ha!" I exclaimed.

"Okay children. Calm down." Caleb teases.

"Excuse me, I am older than all y'all." Alan informs.

"While technically, a child means age but can also mean the amount of maturity a person has." I say, proudly.

"Is that a SpencerFact?" Joe asks.

I turned to him, "Actually, no."

"So, it's an AshelyFact." Chad laughs.

"I guess you could say that." I smile.

"Good, it's sticking." Caleb smiles.

"I actually like hearing Spencer's facts. It makes him; him. Like God wanted." I say.

"There is only one you and one of everyone." Chad says.

"That is true my friend." I laugh. The waiter brought us our food and he was still checking me out. I stuck my left hand out, like I was grabbing something and made sure that he saw my ring. After he was done, he turned around in embarrassment. I may have laughed a little bit.

"What's so funny?" Alan asked.

"I just made the guy embarrassed, I made sure that he saw my ring." I explain.

"Good going." Chad laughs.

"I feel bad, but I'm surrounded bu four guys, you would think that at least one you guys would be my husband." I laugh.

"Or the fact that one guy has his arm around you." Caleb points out.

"Thank you." I laugh, doing a hand gesture.

They all laugh and Joey kisses my cheek. We prayed and then started eating. We talked, and luckily not about the case; which reminds me, I need to talk to Garcia.

"Baby?" Joey asks, snapping me out of my daydream.

"What?" I ask, unaware.

"Are you okay? You seemed deep in thought." Caleb asks.

"Hm. Yeah. I'm fine, I just remembered that I needed to call Garcia." I answer.

We continued to eat. Once we finished, we walked to the venue. Already meeting fans outside. Screaming as they saw their favorite band or their idols. A lot of them screamed at me, a lot of them hateful things. I sighed, as those things hurt. We got to their room, and I sat on the couch as they got dressed.

Joey finished first, so he sat on the couch with me. "Baby, don't listen to them."

"I know. It still hurts that's all. I try not to let it to me all that much." I sigh.

"You're so brave. You know that?" He smiles.

"So, I've been told." I smirk. He laughed and kissed me. After a few seconds he pulled me onto his lap instead of pulling away. It lasted for a few minutes, until Alan interrupted is.

"Ahm." Alan cleared his throat.

Joey pulled away and looked at him as I buried my head into his shoulder. "Yes?" Joey asked.

Alan gave us a look, "Soundcheck."

I got off of Joey and sat back on the couch. "Right, I'll be there in a sec." Joey said.

Alan nodded and walk off. Joey turnes to me, just admiring me. I looked at him, "What?"

"Nothing." He smiled.

"Then why are you staring? Take a picture, it'll last longer." I laugh.

"Why would I take a picture? You're beautiful all the time." He says with all seriousness.

"Okay! But thank you." I smiled.
