Chapter Four
~Y/N's POV~
I walked out of the spa with Evergreen, feeling very refreshed. The spa was ncie, and we did some cucumber eye treatment as well as a massage. We walked around, wondering throughout the town, trying to decide where to eat. "How about f/f?" Evergreen questioned, and my eyes lit up.
"I love f/f!" I smiled, exclaiming out of happiness for the delicacy. I smiled at Evergreen and we went to the only resturaunt in town that serves f/f. They had a special chef from out of town, who made a lot of amazing dishes, including f/f. Me and Evergreen has a delicious lunch, before continuing to get our nails done.
Evergreen got a light shade of green, and I got f/c nails. Afterwhile, and the boys hadn't returned from the quest just yet, me and Evergreen had retired to her room in Fairy Hills, watching rom coms and eating popcorn and chocolate covered strawberries.
It was nice, and a rather perfect way to end a relaxing girls day. That was of course until the door bursted open, and the males of the Thunder Legion walked in. Bickslow ran straight over to the bed, and jumped on it, landing on his stomach, kicking his feet and resting his head in his hand. He landed right infront of the snacks, between me and Evergreen. "How dare." Ev spoke, a face of disgust gracing her. I smiled and chuckled, and decided to grab a handful of popcorn before Bickslow eats it all.
Freed walked in a matter of seconds after Bickslow, sighing as he sat down in Evergreen's chair that was off to the side in her bedroom, facing the tv. Laxus had walked in momentarily after the other two males, and he proceeded to plop down on the bed behind me. I smiled at him momentarily before looking back to the tv. I allowed myself to lean backwards, my back meeting Laxus's chest.
I felt the lightning mage's arms snake around my waste, as his chin laid on my shoulder eyes focusing on the television screen, illuminating the room. I placed a chaste kiss on hiss cheek before returning my attention back to the movie. It was some classic romance that Evergreen had insisted on watching the Olympic I think it was called? I wasn't really sure, but it was about some couple on a ship.
After awhile the movie ended and Evergreen ushered us all out of her room at Fairy Hills, claiming that her beauty sleep was more important than us hanging out and ruining her sleep schedule. Bickslow ran off, Freed did the same, but walking quite obviously. I smiled at Laxus, walking off to my room. He smirked, shook his head and followed me down the hall.
"Alright mister, you can spend the night then. But no funny business." I jokingly shook my finger at him as I pulled out my keys and unlocked the door. He chuckled lightly before I had managed to get the door open. Once open, I walked straight to my bedroom closet. I felt Laxus follow me like a lost puppy, but he didn't go into the walk-in closet with me. Instead the blond lightning mage decided to jump onto my bed.
I went through my clothes, quietly trying to decide which pajamas to wear. I guess some people would consider it weird how close we are, considering I just got back from missing for two years. To be completely honest, if it were a regular relationship, maybe it would be. But to be honest we were just this close before my disappearance, and if anything I think Laxus wanted to be as close as possible because of that. He missed me, and to be completely honest I would be lying if I said I hadn't missed him either. This was just his way of making up lost time, and I wouldn't dare take that from him.
I snapped out of my thoughts, and noticed I had dressed myself in a t-shirt and pajama shorts. Autopilot mode must have taken over. I walked out of my closet to find Laxus, already half asleep in my bed. I chuckled as I walked over to turn off the lights before jumping into bed with Laxus. "Hey, Laxus." I spoke, breaking the silence of the room.
"Hm?" He looked over at me, only opening one eye.
I sighed before beginning to speak again, "I'm sorry." I apologized, my voice cracking out of sadness. I began to feel tears run down my face as I sat up. "I-I'm sorry I left you, the guild, my family. I didn't want to, I swear I just you didn't deserve that." I spoke, my voice cracking again. By now Laxus had both eyes open, and he was sat up.
I kept crying as Laxus began to face me, and pulled me into his chest. The blond held me, not sure how to comfort me. The lightning mage wanted to find some way to stop the tears flowing from my eyes. "Sh. It's okay." He whispered, his arms wrapped around me.
"But its not okay, I-I left you guys. I abandoned you when you needed me most- I-" I cried before being cut off by my own sob.
"Just shut up Princess," Laxus smiled at me, pushing me slightly away from his chest so that he could look me in my eyes. My tear stained face looked up at him, and my eyes still held tears. "It is okay. I know you wouldn't leave on your own accord." Laxus looked at me, wiping the tears from my face. "You wanna know why it's okay?" Laxus met my eyes.
I gave a small, airy laugh before looking up to him. "Why?" I spoke, just above a whisper, a soft, small, sad smile gracing my lips.
"It's." He kissed me on the lips. "Because." Another kiss, but this time he held my face in both his hands. "I." Another kiss. "Love." Kiss. "You." He finished, me kissing him back this time.
"I love you too." I whispered, as he held me close to his chest, only this time we both fell back down onto the bed. I felt him kiss the top of my head before speaking again, "I never told you, where I was for those two years, did I?" I looked up at Laxus.
"You don't have to, if you aren't comfortable with doing so. You can tell me when you're ready." The lightning mage spoke, looking me in the eyes.
"Well. . ."
