Lightning wish that she was not a royal dragonet. Many others at school simply said 'you get everything you want, you should not be sad'. But she still was, she would one have to kill her mother Queen Thunder, and have to rule all of the Storm Dragon kingdom.

"Hey!"

The new voice kicked Lightning out of her thoughts. "Hmm? Oh hi Bolt!"

Bolt was Lightning's best friend since forever. He was nearly all yellow with a bit of gray and gray-blue eyes

"It's time for school!" Bolt said eagerly.

"Okay, coming!"

Lightning quickly packed her books and flew over to Bolt's perch."Let's go!" She said with a grin. She didn't like school but she was fine with facing it with Bolt.They flew over the mountains took a turn at the lush green forest and arrived at school.

They ran into class, the teacher Mr. Cloudy gave them a concerned look; "Late on the first day of school?"He said Raising his eyebrows.

"But we weren't," Bolt objected just as the bell rang.

"Yeh, fine" Cloudy said. "Now let's get on to history!"

History is sooo boring. All it is how WindWings and CloudWings were enemies and how Gray and Hurricane met and had the first StormDragon.

"Lightning! When did Gray and Hurricane first meet?!"

"Umm..." She quickly looked down at her notes.

"Now!" Cloudy said impatiencely.

"Um... they met 1000 years ago on the night when the 3 moons were in the sky."

"Huff, Correct Lightning." Said Cloudy.

Everyone rushed out of class excited for the break from learning. Bolt had this tryout to hunt for the school. Just as they were going to take of the perch and voice growled behind them.

"Where you going so fast with my brother?"

"If you must know Strike, we were going to the tryout he has" Lightning hissed back.

Strike was Bolt's sister, she always did not like Lightning. It seems that it started when Lightning and Bolt became close friends.

"Well I'm going with then." Strike's voice poisoned like a snake bite.
