(A/N To apologize for the shorter chapter from last time and the lack of updates, I have come back with a longer chapter!)

Kaminari POV

'Wait. No. I don't like her. No no, that must be a mistake, no way I like her. Right?'

"Okay!! We will have a 10-minute break/intermission starting now to get ready for your one vs one. You are free to use this time freely!" Midnight says

'I seriously wonder what I can do to beat (L/n), she's strong. Like seriously. But I'm not gonna go around losing.'

(Y/n) was around the corner filling herself with sports drinks and energy bars, probably to make sure her stamina lasts as long as possible. She just sits there and saves energy. 'Well, with the quirk and power she has, I swear she wouldn't need to get ready for someone like me... but I can win too!!' I thought furiously. 'What do I do though? My electric quirk does absolutely no damage to her. And I'm not the best at hand to hand combat, while that's one of her best fighting methods. I have to push her out of bounds, but would she let me do that anyway?'

"Your ten minutes are up! Competitors, please come to the waiting hall." Midnight announces

'What, 10 minutes are up already?' 

I walk into the waiting hall. The atmosphere is so heavy. Everyone's nervous. This is everyone's chance to be seen by the scouts of the pro-heroes. Well, almost everyone was nervous except for Todoroki, Bakugou, and (Y/n). 'Yeah, obviously she's not nervous, she's going against me.'

"Hey! (L/n), I'm going to beat you today! I have absolutely no idea how I'm gonna do it, but I'm going to beat you today!" I say

"Yeah, I have no idea how I can lose to you either. You haven't won to me once, even by luck," she replies

I sigh. "Thanks for lowering my self-esteem-" I start but she cuts me off. She tugs on my cheeks and says, "You're the one who said not to sigh. That's why I haven't been sighing lately and I started to smile." She smiles. "Smile, smile!" I feel the heat rise to my face.

"Yeah, yeah. I know, I know." I say as she lets go of my cheeks. "I think you're pretty strong though, Kaminari. It's just that I'm way too strong."

"We'll see about that. You might just so happen to lose you know?"

"Nope. Impossible," she says

"Nope. Definitely Impossible," Kirishima repeats

"Mm-hmm. Not Possible," Sero continues.

"WHY ARE YOU TWO ALWAYS HERE?? YOU GUYS LEGIT MADE IT TO THE TOP 16?" I say in shock.

"Oof, I can't believe KAMINARI just said that." the three of them say in unison.

"Ohh, and that's not why we're here, right Sero~," Kirishima says.

"Yeah, but that's not why we're here, right Kirishima~," Sero says.  

"Just who did we spot blushing a little bit earlier?" Kirishima and Sero say.

"Wow, you must really like Uraraka," (L/n) says

"First of all, no I was not blushing, and second, how the heck did you get the idea that I like Uraraka from?"

"KAMINARI DENKI AND (L/N) (Y/N) PLEASE COME TO THE FIELD. YOUR MATCH WILL BE STARTING SOON." Present Mic yells from the speakers.

"Oh my gosh, did we just miss Midoriya vs Shinso's match?" Kirishima asks.

Kirishima and Sero head up to the balcony to watch our match while I go to the field. I know that my quirk won't work on her but I hope I can stay as close as possible to the end line and manage to push her out of bounds. That's the best Idea I can possibly think of right now.

"READY, SET, GO!!!!!!"

(Y/n) comes charging at me the same second Midnight says go. 'Ok, good. If I can electrocute her at the right timing, I may be able to catch her by surprise and use that as a chance to push her out of bounds.'

"Kaminari Denki. Out of bounds. (L/n) (Y/n) admitted to the next round." Midnight announces 

"What the heck happened... It was so fast, I couldn't see anything." I mutter.

"What was that!!"

"I couldn't see anything."

"INSTANT DEFEAT. LET ME SAY IT AGAIN. INSTANT DEFEAT." Present mic yells

"Did I win? Yes! I won!!" (L/n) says happily.

"Wait, wait, what did you do?" I ask

"I pushed you off with some wind while I dodged your arm that tried to electrocute me while I got my rain cloud ready to drop some lightning on you just in case that wasn't enough to push you out," she replies calmly.

"What? You did all of that in like a split second?" I ask, astonished

"Y-yeah? I-is that weird?" she questions

"Um, yeah? That's super cool though. Ugh, what the heck. I didn't stand a chance..."

"Haha, but you thought and used your brain for like once in your life so I compliment you for that. You had a good plan until I crushed it" she says while laughing

"You're laughing at me aren't you?" I ask

"How'd you guess." 

"Knew it."

"I SAID GET OFF THE DARN FIELD. HAVE YOU BEEN LISTENING TO ANYTHING I WAS SAYING? OMG. AM I THAT INSIGNIFICANT AFTER YOUR MATCH, YOU TWO? CAN YOU AT LEAST TRY TO LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY? TRY?" Present Mic yells. Oh, gosh he was not happy.

"Sorry, sorry. We're off, we're off." I say while me and (L/n) run off the field.

"Who's your next opponent?" I ask

"Hmm, either Iida or Hatsume," she says

"Then it's probably Iida, he's not gonna lose there."

"Yeah, that's true. But before that, we gotta hurry up if we don't want to miss Sero vs Todoroki's match."

"Yeah." 'tch' I said under my breath.

We go up to the balcony and sit next to Kirishima.

(Y/n) POV

Sero and Todoroki's match also only took a second. It looked like Sero was winning at first but obviously not and Todoroki froze the whole place in like a second. 'Thank's so much Todoroki.' I thought because there was a pretty deep cut on my cheek from where the ice shot up and scratched me. 'Ugh, I have to deal with blood again. What a pain.' I thought.

"Yao-momo! Can you make me a bandage real quick?" I ask

"Oh, yes, of course," she says. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, it was just kinda deep," I respond

She passes me a band-aid along with some disinfectant. 

The rest of the matches go on something like this:

Hatsume vs Iida = Iida wins

Aoyama vs Ashido = Ashido wins

Yaomomo vs Tokoyami = Tokoyami wins

Kirishima vs Tetsutetsu = Kirishima wins

Bakagou vs Uraraka = Bakagou wins

Next round~

Todoroki vs Midoriya = Todoroki wins

Which means that it's my turn now and that my next opponent is Iida. I stand up to get to the field for my next match when Kaminari pats me on the head and says, "Good luck (L/n). You've gotta win for me too okay? I know you can do it." He smiles.

My face gets warm. 'Yeah, I think I'm a bit sick. But Ochako's right, it only happens when I'm around Kaminari... why is that? Am I allergic to Kaminari? What? I'm allergic to Kaminari. Wow, now that's a coincidence.' I think hard.

"Whatcha doing, you're gonna be late! Hurry up, hurry up!"

I go onto the field and stand around the center.

"READY... SET... GO!!!!"

Iida comes running over this way at full speed. I was able to dodge it and I pushed him all the way out of bounds with one gust of wind. 'That was tiring, like really tiring,' I thought while starting to lie there unable to move. 'I used my quirk too much when I got the rain cloud and the gust of wind for both Kaminari and Iida.' I slowly started to get up. I went straight to the nurse's office and decided to sleep for as long as time would let me. I just hoped that everyone else's match would take pretty long.

Round two rest of the matches~

Ashido vs Tokoyami = Tokoyami wins

Bakagou vs Kirikiri = Bakagou wins

I got up again and went back to the field. I got plenty of rest with my sports bar. But heck, I'm really nervous this time. 'I have a bad feeling that I'm gonna lose to Todoroki. His capabilities are extremely high to the point where it's scary. I hope I get a chance somewhere. My attacks are too simple; lighting, wind and combat.' I thought.

I go onto the field.

"READY... SET... GO!!!!"

Todoroki comes at me with a huge block of ice, to begin with. I was lucky that I was able to dodge it. I go around him and try to push him with a gust of wind like I won the other matches. He stops himself from going out of bounds by creating a block of ice right behind him. I get my lightning and drop it right on Todoroki, but he was quick enough to make a shield with the ice.

'Darn, my attacks aren't working on him. I'm glad he's not using his fire yet though.'

Well, I jinxed it, because he decided to use his fire right after I thought that he wouldn't. 

It becomes a pretty long rally of ice, wind breaking ice, fire, rain extinguishing fire. And Ice covering lightning. Todoroki wouldn't let me get close to him, I wanted to use hand to hand combat if I could. 'Ugh, I'm starting to feel a bit weak and cold. I overused my quirk.' Todoroki used this as a chance to get close to me and he had his flame running full power. He slipped on a piece of ice and the flame's right in front of me. I pull out my hand trying to do whatever rain can do in a split second. But water comes straight out of my hand while electricity comes out of the other. 'Wait. What?' I thought. Todoroki became unconscious as soon as I electrocuted him. Soon after that, I started to shiver and realized that I had gone way over my limit. I fainted soon after but since Todoroki was unconscious first, it was my win. 

I wake up in the temporary nurse's office. Kaminari was there again. It made me so happy. It seems as though Todoroki was in the bed next to mine but already left. I woke up so I thought I was fine until my body started to ache and I realized that I had an extreme number of cuts and bruises.

"Why are you constantly in a hospital bed, (L/n)?" Kaminari asks

"That's because I work hard, Kaminari," I respond

"You have to work harder on not injuring yourself. I swear you're gonna break down one day," he says

"But what does that have to do with you Kaminari? I'm not causing you trouble."

"Not causing me trouble? What are you talking about? Of course, you are!"

"What? I didn't do anything to hurt you did I?"

"I'm worried for you. That's what It is. What is it of that that you don't get?"

"You're worried... for me? For a person like me?"

"You have to stop saying that, it's a habit of yours. I'm worried for you because it's a person like you. And you have to think better of yourself. I know it might be hard considering how you spent your last 11 years of your life, but think better of yourself. You're worth it."

Kaminari POV

She's crying again and I can't help but laugh. I give her a tissue to wipe her tears.

"There, there. And you can cry ok? You can cry whenever you want to ok? If you want to talk to someone, don't forget that I'm always here." I say

"Ok, ok. Wait. I just noticed something." she says.

"What is it?" I ask

"I've only cried when Kaminari's there. So does that mean it's your fault?" she asks.

What Kaminari thinks

- Cries only when Kaminari's there

- Kaminari's making her cry

What (Y/n) thinks

- Cries only when Kaminari's there

- Allergic to Kaminari

"Am I allergic to Kaminari?" (L/n) mutters under her breath.

"Wait. What? You're allergic to what?" I question.

"Oh, no, nothing. Don't worry about it," she says.

"No, no. I'm worried. Did you say you're allergic to me?" I ask.

"Oh, no. It's just a thought. Like I said, don't worry about it."

"No. I'm worried. Like, I'm seriously worried. Is it even possible to be allergic to someone?"

She tries to change the subject but she's failing miserably so I drop the conversation there. We start to walk out of the nurse's office after Recovery Girl treated her injuries. 

"(L/N), PLEASE COME TO THE FIELD. THE FINAL MATCH WILL BE STARTING SOON."

"Oh, Kaminari, whose my next opponent?" she asks me

"Umm, it's Bakugou," I reply

"I'm going against Bakugou?" she says in surprise

"Y-yeah. Don't worry. You have the ability to beat him, just make sure he doesn't explode you." I say.

"Ugh, I don't have much stamina though... this isn't great," she complains

I pull out an energy bar and a sports drink from my bag. I pass it to her and she eats it while running towards the field.

"Thanks, Denki! I'm gonna win! And I'm gonna call you Denki from now on!" she yells back at me from the other side of the hallway. Then she stops and asks, "Can I?"

"Of course you can! Good luck!" I say.

She runs off into the field. I run to the balcony so I don't miss the match.

'Oh shoot. I'm so happy.' I thought.
