Kaminari POV

"'kay, I'm off!" I say as I left the place.

"Okay! Be careful and don't waste time coming back home!" my mom shouts back.

"'kay, 'kay," I say while closing the door behind me.

I sigh as I look at the photo I found last night between the picture book. I don't even know why I brought it. Sigh. 'I'll just show it to her, easier than explaining.'  I thought. I put the photo back in my bag as I walked to school. I look at my phone to check for any notifications. Nothing important. 'I don't see (L/n) anywhere' I thought, 'well, I'll see her in class.'

I walked into the classroom and found (L/n) in her seat with her earbuds in, staring at her phone. I sat in front of her trying to make a conversation.

"Hey (L/n)-chan~"

"*ignores*"

I sigh and face forward, this is not gonna work and I'm not gonna show her the photo until she doesn't hate me as much.

(Y/n) POV

 'Why is this guy always trying to talk to me?'  I thought. 'So annoying'

I continued to watch anime until class began. Aizawa-sensei came in and started homeroom like normal. It was a normal day and lunch came along. I decided to go to the same hallway, it wasn't a bad to place to eat honestly, I can watch anime, comfortable, no one to bother me- 'I spoke too soon', I thought.

"(L/n)! Why are you here alone again?" Kaminari screamed from the other end of the hallway. "Didn't I tell you to come to eat with us."

Kaminari POV + mini flashback

'Hmm, (L/n)'s not eating lunch with us and she's not even in the cafeteria' I thought, ' Not that I care! Oh, she's probably in that corner again. Ok, let's go check.'

"Kaminari! Where are you going?" Kirishima asks.

"He's going to find (L/n) obviously. He definitely likes her." Sero says.

"Omg, shut up," I say, "I'm just a nice enough guy to go looking for someone that obviously has absolutely no friends. And how are you guys saying that when it's the second day of school?"

"Yeah, yeah, have fun!" Kirishima and Sero teased in unison.

I walk to the same hallway, at the far end in the corner sits (L/n). 'Bingo.' I thought.

(Y/n) POV

'Ugh, I can list at least four problems with this situation. First, I TOLD HIM that I won't eat with them. Second, he's here. AGAIN. Third, I'm reading manga AND it's a good part. Fourth, WHY DID HE BRING HIS LUNCH WITH HIM???' 

"Go away," I say. I have way too many things to complain about so I give up.

"Awww~ don't be so mean," he says. And sits beside me.

"Didn't I say go away?" I say coldly. He starts to eat his lunch which I simply ignore and continue to read my manga. I don't even bother to pull out my earphones.

We end up eating lunch in silence but I guess it was a bit nice to have some company

After lunch, we had normal classes, then we had a hero class, taught to us by All Might.

"I AM-" All Might yells, "COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON"

I sigh.

"We will be starting the battle of trials now. You will be grouped into groups of two and will fight each other as a villain and a hero." He explained. "Once the hero team captures the weapon, the hero team wins, if the villain protects the weapon until the end, then they win."

There is an odd number of people so I am put as an extra and I can choose which side I want to take. The pairing I am in is Kaminari Denki and Jirou Kyouka vs. Kirishima Eijirou and Sero Hanta. (A/N this was supposed to be Kaminari and Jirou vs Yaomomo and Mineta, but I felt like changing it a bit sorry!) I was pretty useless indoors because my quirk was weather. I decided to pair up with Kirishima and Sero because the last thing I wanted to do was work with Kaminari. We're the villain team, my quirk was pretty useless indoors, and I'm pretty good at hand to hand combat so I was guarding the weapon, while Kirishima and Sero went to go find Kaminari and Jirou. I just waited for anyone to come, but I believe that I might not have to do that much, Kirishima and Sero's quirks are for both offence and defence. About 10 minutes passed and nothing happened at all so I sat down. 20 minutes, still nothing, maybe I'll stand up. Time's up! 'What? I didn't do anything !' I thought. I looked back at the weapon to see if anyone had captured it, no one, so we won I guess? I sigh. I still didn't do anything so I don't feel like I won.

"Oi! I told you not to sigh, didn't I! It's not cute!" Kaminari yells.

I sigh.

"Are you even listening to what I'm saying?" Kaminari says back. "I lost~ hahaha... Sero taped me together in the beginning and none of Jiro's attacks really made it. Next time you better side with me ok? I ate lunch with you so you owe me!" He said while running to the exit.

'What the- *sigh* fine' I thought.

Kaminari can hear (Y/n)'s thoughts so he knows we were mentally sighing.

Kaminari: I HEARD THAT SIGH

Reader: *thinks* but I didn't even- sigh

Kaminari: I SAID STOP SIGHING IT ISN'T CUTE

Reader: *slaps Kaminari* Sigh

Reader: Finally some peace and quiet

Bakugou: HEY YOU SCUM

Reader: So much for the peace and quiet, sigh

Triggered fans: STOP SIGHING

Ok, it was just that, but I liked it, so I went back to put it into the fanfic. I hope you liked it just as much as I do.

I'm walking home normally while listening to music when I hear a voice from behind me. I thought that its annoying Kaminari again and decided to just ignore it and keep walking. And then a hand comes on my shoulder. "What are you doing-" I gasp, its not Kaminari.

The person who stands there is extremely tall and large.

"Wow you're one rude person," he says.

He starts to hit me. I tried to use my quirk and push him away with some wind but he hit my head so it's hard to concentrate and I can't move. It's probably his quirk. 'Tch' I thought. 'This isn't helping that he keeps beating me up. Ugh, I'm going unconscious.'

"(L/n)? What (L/n)! (L/n)!"

I wake up. 'Hmm. I don't know where I am. Oh. This looks like a hospital. Right, I was bleeding. I wonder who brought me here and who was the one who was calling me? Ugh. So many things to think about my head hurts'

I lie back down and put my hand on my head. 'My bandages are soaked' I thought as I looked at my blood-covered hand. As I look out of the window I notice that it's raining. I love the rain. I can stop the rain but I don't feel as though I need to. I love the rain so much. It has a bittersweet feeling to it. So dark, yet so sweet. It reminds me of it. It reminds me of when I promised my childhood friend that I would be a hero with him. That was right after it rained. 

"(L/n)! I see so you're awake now." says Kaminari.

"Why are you here?" I say in shock.

"Don't be so cold. Are you feeling better? It's pretty shocking when you see a classmate with blood running down their head you know."

"Wait, so you brought me here? What? You helped me?" I ask.

"Calm down, calm down. Yes, I did. Don't get mad at me-" he says.

"Why would I be mad at you? You brought me here right? Thank you so much!" I smile.

Kaminari POV

"Why would I be mad at you? You brought me here right? Thank you so much!" She smiles.

'What the heck? Did she just thank me? Yeah. It's her. It's the girl I made the promise with. I wonder when she started to stop smiling like that and started sighing. She can smile too!' I thought.

"I promised that I'm gonna protect you forever, remember?"

'Oh shoot. I said that out loud. Shoot.' I thought. I felt my cheeks go red and started to get flustered.

"What are you talking about?" she asks. She was also getting flustered.

"Oh no. This isn't. No, it was nothing, forget about it." I say panicking.

"Haha, I thought so," she laughs "it's just that my childhood friend promised me the exact same thing. Maybe we do have quite a few things in common. Wow. Look at the time. It's getting late. You should go back home. Thanks again for bringing me here, Denki-kun!"

"Ok, see you tomorrow," I say starting to get up.

"Oh, by the way, thanks for eating lunch with me today, it was nice to have a little company I suppose, but you don't have to anymore. You should eat with your friends," she says.

"Ok, ok, bye-bye. Get some rest ok!" I say closing the door behind me.

'Seems like I have a new place to eat lunch now.' I thought. 'Hopefully, she's better by tomorrow. Well, I'll come to visit if she's not.'

I hummed a sad tune that was a bit nostalgic while walking home in the rain.

'I kinda like her' I thought.
