chapter 2; the forest
“OWWWW” I screamed with agony, hearing some cracks in my chest.
My friend sprinted to me and muttered “are you okay?”
“I am fi... OWWWWWW!” I roared with horrible pain that made my friend cover her ears.
I then started crying.
“why have I done this… WHY?” I cried with affliction, looking at my bestie.
“its okay. The key to make it heal is to take in deep breaths. Follow me. Breath in… Breath out.”
I followed her command.
I then started to feel better.
My pain was healing unusually quickly, which really helped me calm down.
“are you okay now?” saika murmured with a worried expression.
“Yeah, thanks!” My face turned into a grin, making her start to laugh.
“you’re funny. That’s why you’re my friend.” She smiled back.
“let’s get going. Let’s run into the wild!” Saika muttered excitedly.
I started trotting into the forest that was in front of the school.
I looked back.
I found nothing but a forest behind me. But, I only walked a few paws away and… it disappeared.
I turned to my friend.
“Are you sure this forest is safe?” I questioned.
“yeah, yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s safe. If it is not safe, we will try to continue anyways.”
Saika Jumped into the tree next to me and landed on the branch upper to my head.
She started climbing the tree and, on the way, she encountered some three eyed squirrels with wings.
They were called ‘tresqiwis’ because they had three eyes, they are a type of squirrel, and they have a pair of wings.
When she reached the top of the tree, she started to look for enemies but, she couldn’t find any.
“it’s safe in this forest. We can continue,” saika whispered.
“why are we whispering?” I asked saika, turning to her.
“just in case there is something strange about this forest,” she murmured.
I heard a sudden growl.
Chapter 1 part 5: unconscious
Saika and I, lightning foxy, were looking around to find out where the growl came from.
We heard the growl again.
It was so close. So close that we could hear it beneath us.
We stared down.
Something was underneath.
The ground started rumbling.
“what is going on?” saika shouted, her sound fading into the noise of the rumbling.
“WHAAAT?” I shouted with confusion.
A giant three headed mole started coming out of the ground.
The ground was tearing into pieces that flew and landed down to the grass.
It was too late…
They were hit...
Unconscious.
The mole’s hole was huge, huge enough to swallow ten trees.
We couldn’t escape.
The mole had caught them with their own mouths, and started digging into the ground.
Everything turns black.
