"Hurry up slow slug!". Rabbitkit mewled. "I wanna play with the others!". "Ok, just wait a sec sis! I need to get these burrs out of my fur!" Volcanokit hissed. "Well then, you shouldn't have hidden in the brambles, should you?" Rabbitkit responded. "You're acting like Squirrelpaw!". Volcanokit rolled his eyes and continued tugging the burrs out of his fur. "Fine then, you can stay here cleaning your fur, or you can follow me and play with us!". Rabbitkit stormed out of the nursery.

"Flamekit? Terrainkit? Come out! I wanna play too!". "Hey! Shush!" Terrainkit whispered from under a bramble. "We're playing hide and seek!". "Oh ok! I'll hide!". Rabbitkit dashed over to the elders den.

"Psst! Jaguarspot! Can I hide under your nest?". Jaguarspot opened one eye. "What was that kit? Oh, hide and seek right?". Rabbitkit nodded. "Sure, theres a hollow under my nest, stay there!". Jaguarspot stood up as Rabbitkit wriggled under the nest. Well, this is roomy! Rabbitkit thought sarcasticly. She heard Terrainkit mewl as Flamekit found him. Hah! I'm definitely gonna win!

She heard Flamekit and Terrainkit pad into the den. Squirrel dung! She thought to herself. I'm done! She heard Flamekit pad over to Jaguarspot. "Hi, Jaguarspot?" Flamekit mewed nervously. "Can we check under your nest?". Jaguarspot yawned. "Sure kits, just remind those apprentices to clean the moss from here.".

Rabbitkit felt Flamekit drag her out from under the moss. "Got you sis!" Flamekit mewed happily. "Now come on! Lets go to sleep.".
As the sun set on the camp, there was one cat who felt like they didn't belong.
