Flamekit padded out of the nursery silently. He looked around. Good. He thought. no-one there. He peeked through the brambles at the medicine clearing. That looks like a good hiding spot!' He wriggled in through a gap in the brambles and hid under some wet stinky moss. Yuck! He thought. Why does this moss stink so bad?.

He heard Rabbitkit squeal in excitement. 'Terrainkit found her!' He looked around and saw brown paws padding towards him Oh No! Terrainkit grabbed Flamekit's tail and pulled him out of his hiding place. "Found you!" Terrainkit mewed happily. "Now help me find Volcanokit!". "Ok then" Flamekit mewed.

Rabbitkit darted over. "The badger's coming!" Terrainkit looked nervous. "Uh oh. I think I might have knocked over a few herbs." Rabbitkit and Terrainkit darted through the hole in the brambles. Uh oh. I'm crowfood!

Leafpatch padded towards the medicne den. As she disappeared into the den, Flamekit heard her hiss in fury. Gotta go!

He squeezed through the gap in the brambles into the nursery and hid under some moss. He heard Frostfoot sniff. "Flamekit, you really smell right now. Please groom yourself." Frostfoot meowed. "Fine mum." Flamekit mewed. He tried to lick off the gunge but it tasted HORRIBLE. "Mum? It tastes yucky.". Frostfoot sighed. "Ask Leafpatch what to do." She yawned. "I'm going to rest.".

Flamekit padded nervously towards the medicine den. "Umm, Leafpatch?". He saw her sit up from a herb pile. She sighed as she saw Flamekit. "Is that mouse bile on your fur?". Flamekit looked down. "I don't know. I was playing hide and seek and I hid under this moss and now I smell stinky!". Leafpatch sighed. "Just wash it off in that stream.". She pointed her tail over to a shallow stream. Flamekit padded over and nervously stood in the water. Great starclan, this is cold!

After a moment or so, Leafpatch looked over at Flamekit. "Thats enough, you can get out now." As he walked past she purred. "Next time, stay away from mouse bile!"
