Three days have passed since that night, Percy was still unconscious and I haven't done much since then

I've been lazy, but I've been practicing with my weapons and reflexes and such, but other than that, lazy

But now I'm battling some of Ares kids in the front lawn, three of them to be exact

They all were stupid, sure they have great skills but they don't think before they act

One slashed at me but I dodged, the other slashed but I blocked with my sword, and kicked him back, knocking him out of the fight

Another charged but I stopped by putting my sword to their neck, when I did this I saw Percy up and walking with Grover, I stared for a bit before slashing the guys arm and spinning around before knocking him over with my elbow

The final one went to attack, but I grabbed his arm and kneed his arm, hearing a small snap and he cried out in pain

I twisted his arm behind his back and kicked him away, ending the battle completely

"Alright, go to the infirmary, nimrods. You can't play in capture the flag today from those injuries, have fun sitting around!" I smirked, walking away and catching up to Annabeth

"Ready to win again today? We'll be guarding our flag today," Annabeth smirked

"We'll win for sure, let's do this," I smirk

"You cool with being captain today?" She asked

"Most defiantly," I smirked

"Heroes!" Chiron yelled, stopping everyone from fighting on the lawn, "Warriors! Fall in!"

Everyone gathered around Chiron, me and Annabeth near the from with our red flag

"Hustle, hustle! Dylan, Paris, stop lollygagging! Percy, step forward," Chiron spoke, Percy stepped forward after casting a glance to me

"This is Percy Jackson. And he's gonna need a team," Chiron spoke

"We'll take him," Luke spoke, coming toward him, "I'm Luke. . . son of Hermes and camp leader--not necessarily in that order. Where's your helmet?"

"No one gave me one," Percy spoke

"Uh. Chiron you still got your wheelchair? Kids gonna need it. You're a goner, man. I'm messing with you. Smile a bit. It's good for you, kid. Anyone got an extra helmet?" Luke spoke, someone handed him a helmet and he handed it to Percy

"All right, I want everyone in position for Capture the Flag. First team to capture the enemy's banner wins. Dismissed," Chiron spoke, everyone scattered, staying clear of me, and we went into position

"I'll take trees, you cover the ground," I told Annabeth, she nodded and hid a bit away from behind the flag, I flew up to the trees and hid there, Aquila being my look out

A while later I heard splashing in the water, someone was coming

Then I heard laughing, Aquila showed me it was Percy Jackson, he was gonna go down

"I won," Percy spoke, then Annabeth came out from where she was hiding, I stayed where I was, watching from here, "whoa, whoa, whoa."

"Did you really think it would be that easy? My mother is goddess of wisdom and battle strategy. Do you know what this means? I always win," Annabeth spoke, backing Percy up

"I always lose. Maybe we're both wrong," Percy spoke

Annabeth slashed his hand and face in seconds, he yelled out in pain, he went to slash her but she easily blocked and elbowed his chest, she spun around to slash him but he ducked it time

He went to hit her again but she blocked and grabbed his arm, and kneed him and the stomach

This went on for a bit until she finally knocked him to the ground, making the red team cheer with pride

Then Percy went to the water, once he did the water started to run up his arm and heal his cuts, then he stood back up to fight, making the cheering stop and everyone stand guard

One of Ares kids went after him, but Percy blocked his hit and elbowed him in the face, another went after him but he blocked the hit and elbowed his shoulder

He knocked another off his feet and sliced another's knees after blocking his attack

After a bit another charged at him, but he blocked and elbowed his back, sending him down

Annabeth went after him but he stopped he with a sword to her throat

She then started to furiously attack him with everything she had, but he grabbed her sword in the process and placed hers behind her neck and his to her neck

He went to grab the flag but I wasn't gonna let him win that easily

"Not so fast, Jackson," I yelled, swooping down from the tree, making his senses alert as he held his ground

"You think you can beat me? I just beat Annabeth, I can beat you," he smirked

"Let me introduce myself, I'm Zaylia. Daughter of Zeus, wielder of every power from each god and goddess on Olympus," I smirked, making everyone else step back away from me and Percy as I walk towards him, backing him up

"I'm the son of Poseidon, guess we'll find out who's more powerful," he spoke

"I'm not holding anything back," I warned

"Neither am I, let's go," he taunted, I flipped the sword in my hand

He charged, I easily blocked his move and pushed him back, spinning around as our swords clashed

He tried to kick my knee but I pulled myself back, he came after me and slashed at my side, but I ducked out of the way and rolled behind him

I kicked his shin and sent him down, I then held my sword from behind him in front of his neck

"Give up?" I question

"Not yet," he breathed

I took the sword from his neck and let him stand, he spun around and slashed at my head, I ducked and sliced his thigh, making a large gash

He kneeled on the ground, people crowding around us, I kicked his hand and knocked the sword out of his hand, an Ares kid tossed the sword to me and I caught it, holding both swords to his neck

"No one, beats my best friend and gets to have their victory," I spoke, heavily breathing

He holds his hands up in surrender, then one of the Ares kids comes running with the blue flag, blues behind him

He tosses it to me and I quickly sheath my sword, I catch the flag and place it next to the other one, making the red team cheer with victory

I toss Percy his sword and help him up

"You did good for a first timer, but work on your defense when attacking me," I spoke

"Thanks, I'll keep the in mind," he smiled, going off to the Blue Soldiers

I went with the Red Soldiers and all off the cheered as they made a path for me, Annabeth caught up to me and congratulated me

Then at the end of the night we had a camp fire, to celebrate the victorious team and those who tried

I never really had fun with it though, my team always wins but I'm pretty ruthless when it comes to competitions

No one claps me in the back or shoulder, not after what happened last time, last time I broke their arm cause I thought they were going to fight me, so no one ever does it

Well, beside Grover and sometimes Annabeth

I head to the snack stand where a few nymphs were talking to Grover and Percy, I cut through them to get to the stand and they walk away in fear

"Wait. Don't leave. Ladies, I'm available. Wait, come on, don't leave. I'm available," Grover complained, going after them

"You must have that affect on people a lot," Percy spoke

"Yeah, well, when you can crush a person in less than a minute you give off a bad vibe," I speak, grabbing a cup and pouring in my drink

"My bad," he spoke, grabbing a cup and the pitcher

"Feeling like a hero?" I asked, changing the subject

"More like a mutant. In not going to grow a fish tail or gills or anything like that, am I?" He questioned

"Not likely. Although a huge ego isn't out of the question. You did beat the second best fighter in camp," I spoke

"I'm guessing you the first," he spoke

"You bet," I spoke

I then started to walk away but he caught up quickly, "You know, you could have killed me out there. I could have died if I was normal."

"But you aren't, no one here is normal, Percy. Our parents are gods and goddess," I spoke

"I get the sense that you don't like me very much," Percy spoke

"What makes you think that?" I ask

"You just give off a vibe," he spoke

"Well, my father has accused you of stealing his bolt," I mentioned

"I swear I didn't steal anything," he spoke

"I'm not saying I believe you, but I don't think you have it," I spoke

"Why's that?" He asked

"You just got here and didn't even know you had powers till today, you couldn't have stolen it," I spoke

"I never thanked you for saving my life that night," he suddenly remembered

"It's my thing, Grover always shouts, 'Zay! Help me!' A lot so I tend to stay up late till he comes back," I spoke

"Well, thank you anyways, to not being dead," he raised his glass in a cheers manner

"To not being dead," I spoke, drinking from my glass

Suddenly the fire started to burn brighter, making everyone gasp and back away quickly

I dropped my glass as Percy and I stumbled back wards, no words to describe the scene

Out from the fire came Hades, lord of the underworld in demon form

"Percy Jackson, Zaylia Thunders, show yourselves!" His voice boomed

When we didn't come right away Hades threw a ball of fire at the snack table, I raced over and catch the ball of fire before it hit, throwing it back at Hades as it disappeared in the flames

"I'm here Hades! Leave this camp alone!" I yelled, walking towards him

"Zaylia, still enjoying my gift of controlling fire I see," he smirked

"Hades! Zaylia step back!" Chiron yelled

"Percy Jackson, bring me the bolt with Zaylia Thunders. Be good kids, hand it to me an I will exchange it for your mothers," He spoke, my face fell

"Percy, Zay. Don't listen!" Chiron yelled

"My mothers gone!" Percy shouted as he joined me by my side

"No, your mother is still alive, I sent the Minotaur to abduct her. She is here with me in the underworld," Hades spoke, showing an image of Percy's mother

"Mom?" Percy questioned

"Percy. . ." She spoke, then Hades made the image disappear

"As for you Zaylia, I will allow you a chance to talk to your mother, if you ever want to see you mothers again, you both will bring me the bolt," he spoke, then he disappeared in a giant fire

"Chiron I have to go get her," Percy spoke

"Percy. . . you and Zay don't have the bolt," Chiron spoke

"Look, I'll tell him the truth. When he realizes I'm not the thief, he'll release her. A-and Zay can talk to her mother," Percy spoke

"No, you cannot negotiate with Hades. When he finds out that you don't have the bolt, he will kill you, Zay, and you mother," Chiron spoke

"This is her only chance," Percy spoke

"No. Stick to our plan. Travel to Olympus, bargain with Zeus. Once you convince him of your innocence, we will do everything in our power to bring back your mother," Chiron spoke

"Okay. . . Yes. . ." Percy breathed

I didn't want to deal with this anymore, I stormed off

"Zay! Zay!" Grover yelled, I ran, everyone scrambling to get out of my way as I struggled to keep my tears in

I shoved people out of my way as I ran fast, I made it to the waterfall and quickly ran inside my cabin

I tossed my armor off on the couch and threw my sword on the table

I ran to the bedroom and slammed the door, sliding down it as I pulled my knees to my chest

I wish I had my sister here, she would probably understand me, being the younger daughter of Zeus after all

I looked at the bracelet on my wrist, thinking of the note my mom gave me

"Never give up, no matter how hard the challenge is," I mumbled, remembering her dying words

So I'm not giving up, I'm leaving to find her, I'm going to take on Hades

I grab my backpack, I stuff in some clothes, some money, a few weapons, and other things

I grab my sword and it glows in my hand, going inside my bracelet so it won't seem suspicious

I wait until all lights are out, and everyone is in their cabins, then I run

I run through camp, and sure enough Percy, Grover, and Annabeth are walking out

I run past them as fast as I could, I gotta block them in some how

"Zay! Zay! Annabeth get her!" Grover whisper shouts, I hear footsteps running after me

Then I'm tackled, I go down with a slight gasp

"Get off me!" I shouted, pushing at the person holding my legs

"No! I know what your doing and it's not worth it!" Grover yelled

"I have to see her again! You don't know what it's like!" I yell, kicking at Annabeth's grip

"Zay this is not the way! We need to find the lighting bolt! How are you gonna take Hades in your own?" Grover spoke

"I'll figure something out! Let me go, I need to see her! I need to hear her voice again! Grover please!" I begged, tears slightly rolling down my face

"Zay, I know how much you want this, but you have to let her go," Grover spoke softly

"I can't! Grover I need to see her to let her go! Please!" I begged

"Zay, we'll find her okay. You'll get to see her again, but you need to promise me something," Grover spoke

"Anything! Please Grover, I need to see her again," I begged

"You have to promise not to get out of hand when we go to the underworld, okay?" Grover spoke, I nodded

Annabeth let me up and I quickly wiped my tears, showing weakness is not me

"So who knows how to get to the underworld?" Grover asked

Everyone was silent, "Didn't think that one through," Percy spoke

"I think I know someone who might," Annabeth spoke

We were going to Luke's cabin, I couldn't stand like much so I stayed outside while they talked to him

I picked up a stick and took out one of my daggers, sharpening the stick, sitting outside while I was bored just sharpening the stick

Then I heard a screech, I looked up and saw Aquila flying above me, I whistled him down and he landed on my shoulder

"And where do you think you're going without me?" He spoke

"The underworld," I shrugged

"Not without me, your not. I'm coming with," Aquila spoke

"And where will I keep you? I can't exactly have an eagle in my shoulder the whole time

"What about an eagle marking? I'll stay here and when you need me I'll come," Aquila spoke

"Fine, but what do you mean marking?" I questioned

He told me to roll up my sleeve and I did, he then tapped my skin with his beak and a marking of him flying appeared on my skin

"I'll be summoned at your command, when you need me I'll appear, good luck, Zay," he spoke, flying off

Then they came out and I stood up, ready to leave

"Where we heading?" I asked

"Auntie Em's Garden Emporium, we need pearls to get to the underworld, that's where we start," Percy spoke, I nodded and we were off
