Captain Marvel Extended Scene Scandal

Marvel released this scene a while ago, which shows the beautiful Carol Danvers "fighting patriarchy".

As you may have already seen, this man attempts to flirt with her, asking her to smile, and she angrily threatens to break his hand unless he gives her his helmet, jacket and motorcycle. Eventually, she not only takes all of the mentioned above, but she also steals another outfit from  a nearby store and goes off driving the wrong way...

Let's be realistic, the way the guy attempted to approach her was not charming at all and he did give the impression of being a jerk (take notes men: that's not how to flirt with a lady). In spite of that, Carol's reaction was absolutely out of place. In my opinion, the only reason why a women should get aggressive with a man is when he is trying to touch her or advance on her in an inappropriate way.

While this guy was not nice, she shouldn't have attacked him. She could've simply ignored him or in the worst case scenario, tell him to get lost or give him the finger. But no, she decided to go full Terminator on him. What people are saying is true: That is not female empowerment, in fact, that's not proper of a hero, that's the act of a villain. So no, I'm not buying into Captain Marvel being the face of the MCU (she's no longer gonna hold that title btw).

The most serious issue is that a lot of youtubers, such as ThatStarWarsGirl, Geek+Gamers, Hey Viv, etc. have made their video reaction to this scene, rightfully criticizing it, and as of right now, Youtube is literally blocking all this videos! You read correctly, Youtube is blocking every Captain Marvel extended scene critique.

If you don't believe me, listen to what ThatStarWarsGirl's testimony:

I have nothing else to say.

May the Force be with the MCU.
