In case you didn't know, in the Expanded Universe, Aurra was force-sensitive and she used to be a Jedi (she was actually Ki Adi Mundi's padawan), but she was very aggressive and was sent to train with another Jedi who specialized in difficult padawans. 

Ultimately, Aurra never got along with that Jedi and she never progressed from being a padawan. In addition, she was kidnapped by some pirates who raised her as such. She was also kidnapped by a Hutt Lord and turned over to some assassins, who also trained her to be a sadistic monster (they also gave her her bio-computer antena). She would eventually leave the Jedi Order and become a bounty hunter.
