'He's so strong.....Can we even do this?'

"And that's why I'm called the 'Dragon king'," He says, I felt furious as he goes on, "All of you combined are weaker than a single finger of mine. Now let us continue on deciding who's the worlds strongest." Acnologia clearly saw I was mad....The bastard.

"That's all you want?" I said, staring at him in the eyes "The world isn't weak enough to be destroyed by you."

"Nonsense, I only speak the truth." Acnolgia looked at me

*Flashback*
"I will always be there for you."

"DAD!!!!!"

Present
"I have a promise to keep and I won't break it."

"Ooh? Do you now."

"Lightning dragons...." "Posion dragons..."

Acnologia smacks both Cobra and Laxus to the ground

"Cobra! Laxus!" Natsu shouted

"Sky dragon's roar!" Wendy chanted, Acnologia slammed her onto the ground. All of my friends screams and cries echoes in my head including my own mother and father's.

"Foolish brats."

"We can't....Give up now." Sting said shakily, getting up

'I still have a child to come home to. Rogue and I will make it home to little B/N. And we'll get there no matter what it takes.'

Acnologia marches towards me

Third POV
Y/N prepares herself to fight, "Moon dragon-"

Acnologia stuck his hand through her chest, she coughed out blood

"Y/N!!!" Future Rogue shouted "Y/N no!" Sting said

"NO!!!!!" Rogue cries, putting his arm out towards Y/N,

Y/N falls towards the ground with the blood flying as she hits the ground. Acnologia walks away like it was nothing towards the other dragon slayers.

They are all frightened, shaking from head to toe.

"What? Are you all afraid now because your little savior died?" Acnologia says

"She wasn't just a savior! She is our friend!" Natsu protested back, Acnologia turned around, "Well that friend of yours is gone now. Pathetic. And I thought she can slay a dragon."

Wendy silently cries, shaking, looking at Y/N's body lying face down on the floor. There's clearly a puddle of blood from underneath.

Rogue cries out loud, practically screaming. The other dragon slayers try to calm him down but nothing works.

Y/N's words echoes in is mind.

*Flashback*
"What's wrong?" Y/N asked, letting herself into Rogue's room

"Nothing..." Rogue mumbles, hiding under the covers. Y/N smiled, "Rogue I heard you crying. Is everything alright?"

Rogue finally popped out of the sheets and hugged Y/N.

"I-I'm scared! It's the shadow!" Rogue cried "It's okay, Rogue. I'll be your flashlight." Y/N said

"Promise?" Rogue said "Promise." Y/N repeated, grinning

"Will you ever leave me one day? You and Sting? Will you two no longer be my friends anymore one day?" Rogue sniffed

"Don't be afraid, you are my friend."

Present
"Don't be afraid, you are my friend."

"Everyone! Give all of your magic to
Y/N!" Rogue shouted "What?" Laxus raised an eyebrow "Isn't she only a moon dragon slayer?" Cobra asked "What are you planning, kid?" Gajeel rolled his eyes

"Just do it." Rogue said

"Fine."

"Fire dragon...." "Poison dragon...." "Sky dragon...." "White dragon...." "White shadow dragon...." "Lightning dragon...." "Iron dragon...."

"Shadow dragon!"

"ROAR!" They chanted together

Y/N sat up and ate the magic

"No...." Acnologia mumbled

"Ow! Wow you almost had me there!" Y/N grinned sheepishly 'HOW IS SHE STILL STANDING?!' Acnologia gritted his teeth

"Elemental magic is hard but whatever." She grinned at Rogue who gave her a thumbs up. Then she looked at Future Rogue, she smiled and waved. He smiled shyly and waved back.

"Dragon slayer's ancient magic, the power of the nine dragons is what this is, Acnologia. May you remember us,
the people who defeated you."

Lucy's POV
"Everyone unleash your magic power!" I commanded everyone 'Okay Y/N, this is it! We both are going to defeat Acnologia for good. You can do it!'

"Fairy sphere!"

Your POV
'Mom......Dad.......Give me your strength. Mom give me your kindness and wisdom.....Dad give me your strength and intelligence....'

"Be gone dragons! This is the power of MY destruction!" Acnologia hissed "Will you just shut up?!" I shouted, charging towards him

"That power you collected won't defeat the dragon king!" His magic power had increased so much that I could faint if I had a choice. But I'm giving myself now choice. This was my one true goal, my dream since I was a little girl. And it's all becoming a reality. This is too good to be true in my opinion.

"Feast the power of the nine dragon," I told him "Repent while you can."

I used up all of the magic energy I could. This is it.

"I can't....move." Acnologia mumbled

'You did your part, Lucy....'

"Nine dragons secret arts,"

'And now I'll do mine.'

"I'm going to grind your ass into dragon dust! LIGHT OF THE NINE DRAGONS! SOAR HIGH INTO THE SKY!" I punched him in the chest very hard. He disappears into mid air.

"You did it!" Wendy says happily, I smiled, "Thanks to all of you."

Everyone disappears, except Future Rogue for a moment. For me it felt awkward because the dude killed me and all....

"Rogue, no. Raios, goodbye. I love you." I grinned, he smiled "I love you too." His voice faded before he disappears

~The future~
Future Rogue walks into a door "I'm....Home?" He asked himself 'Why isn't it destroyed?'

"Daddy! Daddy!" A voice called down from the hallway, it's B/N.

"Mommy! Daddy's home!" B/N exclaimed, hugging Rogue "Oh, your back! Yukino and I are cooking a special dinner for today!" Y/N called from the kitchen

"Yo, Rogue! Your back from that job!" Sting said with little Stephanie on his shoulders

Everyone is back....They aren't dead. The future changed....

Rogue smiled and started crying

"Y/N! Is Rogue okay?" Sting hollers,
Y/N  bolts out of the kitchen "Are you okay Rogue?" Y/N asked "What's wrong dada?" B/N asked, Rogue pulled them into a group hug while sobbing.

"Rogue are you okay?" The confused H/C girl asked

"Never been better." Rogue sniffs

Your POV *Back to present*
"Finally it's over." I sighed in relief

"Y/N." Rogue said from behind me "What were you thinking? You could have gotten really hurt? Is your cut healed," Rogue says. I just stare at him "Blah blah blah blah." Is all the words I hear coming from his mouth

So I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him, "Shut up Rogue! I'm fine!"

Rogue hugged me tightly in his strong arms. I smiled.

It's finally over. We won.

"Y/N." Someone called "Oh Four it's you." I said, she grinned and handed
B/N to me "Thank you." I said, smiling, I kissed B/N on the forehead and handed him to Rogue. Four handed Stephanie to Sting and Yukino, the two relieved to see their daughter is okay.

"You are truly the light in my darkness." Rogue smiled "And you are my shadow." I grinned widely, she chuckled,

"So this is what a happily ever after feels like?"

Months later....
"I know give Y/N L/N a spot in the ten wizard saints."

I bowed as he put the large medal on me 'CRAP ITS HEAVY AS HELL!' The crowd cheered

I smiled and waved to them

"Now I gotta get to the wedding!" I said "Let's go!" E/N picked me up and flew me there "Sorry I'm so- l-late!" I said out of breath "Y/N! I thought you wouldn't make it." Lucy says happily, fixing her wedding dress

"Yeah...I'm a ten wizard saint now." I explained to her, Lucy gasped, "What?! Really?!"

I picked up the heavy medal to show her. "Really."

"That's so amazing!" Lucy says "Not as amazing as your wedding day!" I reminded, fixing her wedding dress "I'm so nervous....What if he has second thoughts and doesn't want to marry me anymore. What if-" I looked her in the eyes, "Lucy, it's going to be fine. He loves you."

She smiled and took a deep breath "Get out there and knock him dead!" I said, running to one of the seats.

"So how was the ceremony?" Rogue asked, rocking B/N in attempt to prevent him from crying, I sighed, "Long and boring like I told you it was going to be."

He chuckled lightly, trying not to wake up B/N.

"Aw he likes to sleep on your chest like I do." I said, staring at our sleeping mini Rogue. "Yeah. He throws a fit if I would happen to take him off."

We laughed together, "He loves his dada." I said "Not as much as he loves his mom." Rogue handed me B/N, B/N immediately fell asleep.

"Oh it's starting!" Rogue said "Yes! I still can't believe Natsu and Lucy are getting married!" I squealed

But then I zoned out for a while. Actually almost joining B/N in dream land some of the time. I didn't go to sleep last night until five in the morning because of stupid Rogue.

"Do you Lucy Heartfilia take Natsu Dragneel as your awfully wedded husband?" The priest asked "I do." Lucy said on the verge of tears "Now, Natsu Dragneel do you take Lucy Heartfilia as your awfully wedded wife?" The priest asked Natsu, "I do."

"I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

The two kissed and the whole place erupted in cheers

In the after party, there was dancing everywhere. "Not going to drink?" Rogue asked "Nah. I don't feel like going on the roof." I kissed him on the cheek

"Oh yeah! I forgot!" I said, getting up "Forgot what?" Rogue asked "I forgot to give Lucy this." I took the item out of my pocket. Rogue nodded and assured me that I should go give it to her.

"Lucy." I said, showing her the key "Aquarius! Y/N thank you so much!" Lucy exclaimed, holding the key to her chest "Yeah. I found it on Mard Geer's throne. It blasted over there when you 'broke it'." I explained "I thought it did break." Lucy said, confused

"I may or may not have asked the Celestial King to undo it." I say "Thank you!" She hugged me tightly, crying

"How did you do it?" She asked "It took about a few minutes but in our world, it took three hours."

"Don't cry, it's your wedding day! Go have fun!" I reassured, dragging her to the dance floor. She and Natsu started to dance, and they were talking to each other while dancing. How sweet.

"Y/N!" Someone shouted "Oh, Lyode!" I said "Guess what?" She asked "What?!" I said despretley wanting to know the answer, she held up her hand to show me a ring on her finger, "Orga and I are getting married!" She said

"Really?!!!" I exclaimed hugging her, "I'm so happy for you!"

"All right time for slow dancing!" The DJ said "Im going to find Orga, later!" She waved, pacing in the other direction to find Orga "Bye!" I said

I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned around and saw Rogue, "Wanna dance?" He asked, "Gladly." He smiled and took my hand, leading me where the other couples are dancing.

He puts his hands on my waist and I put my hands on his neck. "I can't wait until we get home." He said "Why?" I asked out of curiosity "Because I'm not going to let you sleep." He whispered

"Rogue!" I squeaked, he laughed

I'm glad I gave him the happiness the thought he never deserved. The day I met him, even though we were kids....I still knew what I was getting myself into the moment we shook hands. And I knew over the years that I was heads over heels for Rogue Cheney. I never thought he would feel the same. But here he is standing in front of me.He will never be alone in the shadows again. I'll just have to illuminate the shadows with pure light. If that shadow ever comes back again, I hope it excepting an ass beating.

Rogue POV
'She truly is the light within my darkness.'

This isn't a fairy tale and it's not a perfect love story but...It's our love story. I didn't fall into love. I walked into love with her, fully aware that I was making the right choice. In many universes or dimensions, I would find her no matter what. Because I truly love her. In that moment when I thought she had died I was truly scared. Because once you get so attached to that precious thing in your life, you can't bare to take your eyes off it for a second. I don't regret anything because I will continue to love
Y/N L/N forever.
