Gerard's P.O.V.

Four months ago I didn't see myself even being around anybody besides my friends. I didn't see myself having anybody that could be more than a friend, to be honest i still don't sometimes.

Pretty sad, huh?

I never expected to be holding hands with the boy I liked more than anybody! I never expected the man I liked to kiss me.

I've never felt this way towards anyone before, so I don't know what it is. I mean I did a little bit towards Oliver but he's my best friend, he'll always have a place in my heart.

But I knew this was different, I didn't feel about Oli in a way that somebody has a crush. I loved Oliver still though... He was my brother.

As we approached the school gates I looked down at our hands.

"Um... Frankie? Do you think m-maybe I-I- we u-um, I'm sorry I just I d-don't wanna s-sound mean b-but- "

Okay now I'm just embarrassing myself....

Frank seemed to have caught on to my glancing down at our hands and cut off my rambling by giving me a small peck on the cheek.

"It's okay Gee. It's fine." He said.

"Are you sure? I don't want you think think I'm like ashamed of you or anything." I said again trying to be sure I wasn't hurting his feelings.

He gave me a reassuring smile and let go of my hand. "I promise it's okay."

I nodded my head and looked down as we continued to walk towards the double doors of the school.

I went to go and open the door when Frank stopped me.  I gave him a confused look and he just leaned in so that way his mouth was near my ear.

"By the way... I think your nervous stutter is cute." I felt my face turn one hundred shades of red as I opened the door and went inside the school.

"Well you look happy for a change." Ray said as I approached the lunch table.

"Yeah, I uh... Had a good weekend." I mumbled sitting in my usual seat beside Frank and across from Mikey.

Ray suddenly jumped in his seat. "Holy shit did you finally get laid?!" He beamed.

"R-Ray!" I choked on my food as he spit those words out. Where the hell did that even come from?

I regained my breathing and spoke once my breath steadied. "You are so gross man."

Ray put his hands up defensively. "Hey it's not my fault you're freaked out by a little action... I mean not all of us are inexperienced with-"

"RAY! Shut up!"

Mikey and Ray burst into laughter while I hid my face behind my hands so they couldn't see the heat in my cheeks.

Mikey looked in between Ray and I, looking like he was on the verge of tears from laughing so hard.

"Gee, oh my god I'm sorry but this whole conversation just went weird in a matter of seconds!" He gasped in between breaths.

This literally could not get any worse...

Well, actually I shouldn't be saying that because it could. Don't Wanna jinx myself.

"Hey I'm going to go get my lunch okay. Gerard's going to come with me." Frank said with a warning look to both of them.

I kept my head down as Frank pulled me up from the table, confused.

"You don't eat the school food." I mumbled. Because he doesn't... I haven't seen him eat the school food since he's been here.

"We need to talk, what the he'll was all of that about?" He asked, stepping into the line of students still waiting to get there food.

We usually get here two minutes early to avoid the prep frenzy.

"I don't know," I lied. "They always pick on me with random things. But so do I, I guess you could say it's how we show each other love." I tried to laugh it off.

It wasn't a total lie, we do do that. But I did know why they were picking on me now.

I had never had sex before. So the fuck what, what's so special about it?! You're essentially swapping sexually transmitted diseases with somebody, no thank you.

Frank glanced at me one more time, seeming satisfied with my answer and walked away from the line, me following.

"I thought you were going to get lunch." Ray said skeptically.

"That damn line was too long... I won't starve." Frank laughed, sitting back down.

Thankfully the two idiots seemed to have forgotten about the whole situation that happened before we had left.

Thank you Frank.

The bell for last period rang then. I couldn't have been happier for timed schedules at school in that moment.

I walked ahead of the guys and tried to hurry to class. I had this one with Frank.

At least.

It's been a while.. A long while...

Okay so this one is shorter.. By alot!

I've decided to do in between 1,200 - 1,600 words per- chapter.

Also because i can never think of anything to make the length of each chapter match some will be shorter than others.

But this one will lead into the next chapter, so... Yeah!!

I love it how this story is getting less views the more I publish lmao. This chapter is such shiz. It's 1am. Sorry. Also if anybody could let me know what i could do to improve my writing that'd be amazing!💕
