I sit in a meeting with the humans who have come to offer to work with us. Sienna wasn't able to attend due to her having a meeting with some other members of the White Fang, so instead, she sent me to talk with these people. And so, I sit in the chair, my chin resting in my hands as I watch them with curiosity, but also a readiness to fight with them if I need to. I've had enough bad experiences with humans to know not to take them all at their word. As I think about that, my SDC brand burns like hell, but I ignore the pain for a moment to give them my attention. " What is it you want?"

The boy with gray hair, and the girl with brown skin and green hair go silent for a moment, with neither of them saying anything. I didn't expect them to. If I'm reading things right, then the girl with amber hair, black hair and the red dress is the one in charge here. Power seems to radiate from her, and when she gives an order, the two of her followers listen without question. She tilts her head at me, and then muses for a moment. " My name is Cinder Fall," she introduces. " It was quite difficult for us to arrange this meeting with you."

" Well. Seeing as how none of the three of you are faunas we were very reluctant to even allow you to come here," I tell them. " You're here as a courtesy from High Leader Sienna Khan. If it were up to me, I wouldn't have let you through the doors. That being said, I am not Sienna. If you're going to dodge my questions, then I think that we're done here. So, I'll ask one more time what it is you want."

She sighs a little, and then leans back in the chair. " I see this isn't going to be a pleasant meeting," she says simply. Cinder then adjusts in her chair, looking at me. " What I want Adam, is power. The power to make the world into what I want it to be. And I imagine that for a faunas such as yourself, you want something much the same. Together, the two of us can get that power," she says. " The White Fang already has a good following, and manpower. Imagine what it could do if we worked together."

" The three of you don't impress me all that much," I tell her frankly, which causes her to glare a little at me. Rather than back down, I continue to glance into her eyes, not intimidated by her in the slightest. " I don't see what it is you have to offer to me. If I had to wager, I have more power than the three of you combined." When I say this, Cinder rises to her feet, but I don't bother to move. Fire and aura flies from her, in large amounts, more than I ever would have thought possible. Still, I don't flinch, and I summon my own aura to life, and I lace it with the red and black energy from Belial, which summons him to my side in the mindscape.

" Interesting," muses Cinder when she sees the energy I have equals, if not exceeds the energy she has with her. Closing her eyes, the power from her begins to disperse, and then she looks at me. " You're stronger than you look Adam. I wanted this to be a peaceful discussion, and not a threat. But if you don't work with me now, then Salem is going to be most unhappy."

Belial's eyes widen when he hears the name 'Salem' though it's a total mystery to me who, or what that is. I turn to Belial, wondering what it is, and then I see him talking to himself a little bit, before he sees me looking, and then he turns to me. " I wonder what my mother has to do with any of this," he says curiously, and then he nods at me. " Adam, enter an alliance with her. Salem is not someone you'd like as an enemy. We're going to have to figure this out."

Nodding a little, I then disperse the aura I had built up, and then I look at Cinder. " I will work with you. But, the White Fang is going to remain independent. We're going to help with your plans, but we're going to place ours first. And I expect you to do your part when it comes to helping us make the world equal for faunas. If I feel like you aren't holding up your side of the bargain, then I'm going to come after all of you," I tell them.

" I would expect nothing less," says Cinder, less friendly than before, and more sternly which is fine. " And the same goes on your end. I expect your help and compliance when we ask for it." With that, she stands up. She offers me her hand to shake it, though I don't. She nods a little, and then gestures for her two helpers to go with her. Once they're gone, I then sit back down in the mindscape with Belial, for the two of us to speak with each other for a little bit before Sienna comes to ask how the meeting went.

" This is most interesting," Belial says simply, and then I nod, not knowing what to say. As the two of us sit, I see a bright blue light in the distance, which causes Belial to snarl a little when he sees it. On top of that, the two of us can feel it, even in the mindscape, which has never happened to us before. I look at Belial, asking what it was, and then he turns to me. " An old acquaintance of mine has shown up," he says simply, and then I nod. Belial sits in silence for a little. " Damn him for showing up whenever he wants to."

Before I can ask him what he means by this, the door opens and then Sienna walks into the room. I leave the mindscape, and then smile at her. I explain the details of the meeting to her, leaving out some things about it, and then she nods and smiles. " I'm so proud my little bull," she says, and then pulls me into a hug, and despite the stress of everything, I can't help but smile.
