The haunting words of the entity that spoke to him, plagued Y/N's mind, playing over and over again, believing this entity was the one that spoke through Glace in her own voice, nothing but to taunt him about the Light... About the events that transpired in his life...

Kara hadn't any idea how dreadful it was for him to fight his greatest foes once again, one that stole the Light... One that was responsible for Cayde's death... And one that caused the Great Disaster, living Nightmares of his past... Of every Guardian's past.

It was a miracle Kara wasn't yet plagued by Nightmares at all, she felt lucky but also guilty about seeing her boyfriend having to deal with the aftermath, it shocked her from what he told her.

"They claim to be our salvation?" Kara's expression scrunched into a scolding glare of some sort. "The same things that... Destroyed my home, decimated your home... Claiming to be our salvation?" she scoffed once more. She was livid, angered by the fact of what Y/N revealed, she wasn't livid with him thankfully, but with the opposition. "They're gonna wish that we should be their salvation when I'm done with them!" Supergirl landed within the Sanctuary, now plagued with random Phantoms of dead Guardians since the last time Y/N and the Girl of Steel were around, before the dive into the Pyramid and Kara's odd discovery of Sol Divisive Vex roaming around the Moon.

On the other note, Y/N and Glace were baffled to learn about Sol Divisive Vex being sighted on the Moon, the doorstep beyond Earth itself, the question remained on why the Sol Divisive were on the Moon, it was something Praedyth himself was investigating thoroughly, which he had to stop his research on finding a way for Kara to return home to her cousin and everyone she knew.

"Calm your horses, Maiden of Might" Y/N cooed after a moment, being put down onto his feet after Supergirl flown him back to the Sanctuary. She frowned at him for a moment. "We can't brute force this right now, this is a enemy we need to understand further, but I do respect your bravery" he told her.

"You know I hate being called that. 'Maiden of Might'" she exclaimed before her expression softened. "But you're in luck" she leaned in. "Only you get to call me that" she closed the gap, planted her lips on his. Locking lips as their lips smacked softly.

"I figured that already" he mumbled into her lips softly, the gap between them opened up again for breathing space. "You make it feel like you have separation anxiety".

"You know I worry when you venture out alone" Supergirl pouted, but Y/N had already heard it all before. She sounded like a lost puppy. "And I have a good right to be worried, I'm your girlfriend" her thumb went in circles around his gloved hand, giving him a loving look of compassion and also concern. "Just promise you won't ever venture out alone into the unknown again, without me... Or without anyone present".

Y/N thought for a mere moment, before looking at Glace. "Well... She is part of the Fireteam, and Fireteams-"

"I know" Y/N sighed, interrupting his Ghost. "You don't need to say it, Fireteams are always supposed to stick together" he nodded before looking back at his ever-loving Girlfriend of Steel. "As for you? I... I promise I won't do it again, if I make you worried too often" his finger caressed the girl's palm, showing affection. "Although you said you were fine with it not that long ago back on your Earth" he brought up to her attention.

Kara immediately felt wrong for even saying so those following months ago, before she began dating him, she felt a form of guilt. "I know... I'm sorry I lied, I just... Maybe I thought I was brave enough. Maybe I was wrong, maybe I'm not as brave as I thought".

"Hey, don't downplay yourself like that" he used his free hand to caress Kara's left cheek, her soft skin in his gloved hand. "You are brave, Kara... I mean c'mon? You wear that crest on your top, you wear a cape with that same crest and you're a goddamn superhero. I get that the Pyramid had brought back... Horrible memories, but that doesn't mean the fact you're not brave" he began comforting the girl, planting his lips on her forehead next before pulling back to look at her in the eyes. "You're not some phony playing dress-up. You're Supergirl, a superhero, the Girl of Tomorrow, remember?" he tried comforting her.

Kara could only smile in his direction, he was right... Kara Zor-El is a superhero, she is Supergirl, the Girl of Steel.

'Oh, Kara. You don't deserve him' she thought to herself, he was too sweet on her, under all that warrior self in him, all that dreadfulness he endured... He was still the sweetest person she had met and was more than glad to be his girlfriend. 

"Oh, Honeybun" she sweetly called him. "You're so sweet on me, y'know that?".

"Yeah, I know" he smiled, before Kara pulled him into a kiss once more, Y/N initially melted into her lips upon contact, her arms wrapped around him as her lips continued locking with his, with audible smacking.

"Mmm" The Girl of Steel let out a soft moan of satisfaction into his lips, their lips continuing to smack off of each other as she felt Y/N's hands around her midriff waist, she longed for the taste of his lips on hers after a very long day.

Sure, she had kissed him on the lips a few times today... But it weren't as long as this, it made her feel complete, loved with butterflies flying around in her stomach, it made her feel... Herself once more.

Her hands dragged across his Dreambane armor, feeling for him, wanting to take off his armor so she could just feel and hug his body, just like she always did in the morning when she wakes up.

She was usually the first to wake, she would always watch him wake up so he could see her ever-loving gaze of love. Y/N noted he was sleeping more often since he got into a relationship with her, he barely got sleep much since the Red War, even after it ended per say.

Both Kara and Y/N began smiling through their lips being locked with one another, lips smacking off each other softly and gently.

'All mine' she thought to herself. Y/N was all hers and she couldn't be any more happier than that. 'I'm so lucky to have him' her thoughts continued, she remembered getting real jealous when Rose Wilson complimented Y/N and his work, she seemed to gush about him at times and Kara would get jealous over it, stating the obvious that Y/N was all hers, he didn't belong to Rose or anyone else for that matter.

it was nothing short but Rose teasing Kara about her boyfriend, she found enjoyment out of it, which Kara didn't like at the time.

The more she thought about the Titans, the more she missed them, she missed bonding with M'gann M'orzz and Tim Drake, even Rose Wilson at times, knowing she came from a father who is a mercenary.

But deep down... She actually missed the talks with Cassandra Sandsmark, before her disapproval of her. Kara didn't know why she was this jealous of her over Y/N, she had a boyfriend of her own, was it because he was being blamed for bringing the Taken and Hive to their world? He was already going through enough with some heroes as it was at the time.

"You're a liability to the team, especially with your boyfriend Y/N" words of Cassandra would echo in Kara's head, she thought back on it the moment those words left her mouth, oh how times have changed.

She thought back on it, seeing regret on Cassie's face before she left in tears and anger, a lot of emotion turmoiled between them and deep down...

Kara felt she really missed Cassie's voice, her laugh, her humor... It was Cassie who convinced her to tell Y/N how she really felt...

Truth be told, she was still left hurt by her words... But she's since grown to put it behind her, maybe one day... Just maybe, they could reconcile...

Once she returns home.

Kara found herself too carried away with the kiss continuing, finding her hand beginning to get lower... And lower... And lower. A thought came across her mind, a thought she couldn't contain, she had no idea where the thought came from, but all she could think of is that...

On the other hand, Y/N's hands went low too, just around above her skirt, where underneath were her red shorts traced with a gold outline, labelling it a skort.

"Guardian?" a sudden voice reached out to Y/N before he and Kara stopped kissing abruptly, scattering like roaches as soon as Eris's voice spoke out.

A blush formed around Kara's cheek as she scattered away from Y/N's lips, finding herself in a blushing mess as she stuttered a little. 

"It's not what it looks like!" both Y/N and Kara said in unison, blushing further before the two looked toward the voice that interrupted them both, still being followed by her Phantoms.

"Oh, E-E-Eris" Y/N cleared his throat. "Sorry, I uh... Well..." he scratched the back of his neck with Glace shaking herself, letting out a noise of sigh.

Eris ignored Y/N's apology, brushing what she saw happen between him and Kara. "What did you find within the Pyramid?" she asked, straight to the point of the matter alone.

"Oh, right..." Y/N immediately put his game face on, Kara crossed her arms in a serious manner as soon as Eris brought up the situation at hand, reminded on what's going on. "I found... This" he transmatted the spherical Darkness artifact the Pyramid conjured to him before a Veiled Statue. "I fought through the Nightmares of Ghaul, the Fanatic and Crota, while my Ghost was possessed".

"Possessed?" Eris asked before looking at Glace.

"It was like I was frozen into place, being forced to listen and watch as these... Words came out of me, in my own voice, but it wasn't really... Me, it was something else" Glace revealed to Eris.

"Y/N even mentioned a statue he found" Supergirl brought up to Eris's attention, her three eyes now locked onto Kara. "And that's... Where he found that" she nodded toward the spherical object in Y/N hand, emanating with a flowing orange like energy, Glace detected pure Darkness from it which sounded dangerous altogether.

"They wanted me to have it" Y/N revealed, Eris's eyes drifted up to Y/N, away from the artifact.

"What? The Pyramid wanted you to have this?" Eris curiously asked with slight worry in her tone, waving off a Phantom of Sai Mota thoroughly as she awaited for him to answer.

"Y-Yeah" he nodded. "Upon touching the artifact, it... Transported me into the Black Garden" he revealed more, much to Eris's shock. Not expecting to hear of that location again since all Vanguard operations were pulled back from the Garden itself. "And that's where I encountered the voice again, using my voice, my reflection... Twisting it into its own will to use against me, to try and persuade me" Y/N continued as Eris picked up the Artifact in Y/N's hand, examining it before thinking to herself for a moment.

"What did it say?" she asked after a mere moment of examination of the spherical Pyramid relic, still shocked about it wanting him to have it, 'a manipulation tactic, no doubt' Eris thought to herself.

"'We are not your friend... We are not your enemy... We are your salvation' is what it said to me" Y/N answered, with Eris thinking to herself again about what he had told her. "Not only that, they mentioned they'd be answering soon, which sounds like a threat if you think about it" he brought up.

"It IS a threat" Eris corrected, looking away for a moment as Kara approached her boyfriend once again and held his hand, with him squeezing tightly next. "They are not our salvation... They're our destruction" Eris shared her words of fear. "This has been a manipulation from the very start. They know what we're here. They know what we've found" Eris words sounded haunting, she was right however... The Darkness, the Pyramid knows what they are, who they are, and what has transpired throughout the years.

Kara's attention was now drawn to the Artifact held in Eris's hand, wondering what should be done with it. "I say we should destroy the Artifact" Kara brought up. "I'll fly and throw it into the surface of the sun and-"

"No" Eris interrupted Kara. "The Artifact may be tainted, they may have wanted us to have it. But a treasure such as this is too valuable to destroy" Eris explained before looking back up. "I must stay and study it with the utmost care".

"That's insane!" Kara issued. "The Artifact maybe dangerous! It could corrupt you".

"Rest assured, Kara... I will be fine" Eris nodded slowly before looking at Y/N. "Whatever I discover, you, your Ghost and Kara will be the first to know".

"Understood" Y/N nodded.

"You're seriously letting her go forward with this?" Supergirl asked her boyfriend with a serious tone, showing concern for Eris. "It seems...".

"Eris will be fine, trust me Kara".

"You remind me of Sai Mota, Kara" Eris brought up, looking at her Phantom of Sai Mota for just a mere moment before looking away. "She was always caring, especially for her friends, and teammates. She would've liked you" Eris could see Sai Mota in Kara, eager to protect her allies and friends.

"If you say so" Kara responded lowly.

"In the meantime, the Nightmares continue to plague parts of our galaxy, leaving only suffering in their wake" Eris brought up immediately. "Roze has already issued Guardians to contain the Nightmares, but if we choose to ignore them, they fester and spread. How long until they reach the Last City? How long before our friends become infected with this same torment?" she asked good questions but left without answers, perhaps she had to seek them out herself?

"It won't come to pass" Y/N spoke up. "It won't happen, not if the Guardians are doing something about it. But we've also got a Vex problem, the Sol Divisive more specifically".

"Praedyth is looking into the Sol Divisive's activities as we speak" Kara spoke next, informing her boyfriend, his Ghost and Eris. "He'll probably come back with something soon to tell" 

"I have no doubt the Vex have something to do with the Pyramid" Eris brought up. "I may not be an expert on the Vex, but the Sol Divisive worship the Darkness, it is no doubt that they are attracted by the Pyramid. However... The Nightmares must be kept at bay, whatever it takes" Eris then nodded.

"What about your Phantoms? Shouldn't we help you with them?" Glace then spoke after being silent for most of the conversation, just saying it moments before Supergirl could bring it up.

"I have a plan to deal with them, but I must study the Artifact for now, I will inform you as soon as we can deal with this... Infection" she cursed out her Phantoms, despite their disapproval of her, they weren't exactly her real Fireteam, but they were her Fireteam, a memory. "For now, rest, the Guardians are at work containing the spread of the Nightmares, you have earned rest for now, our work will continue tomorrow".

"Thank you Eris" Y/N watched as Eris walked off, leaving him with his Ghost and his girlfriend who looked back at him. "We should head back to the Tower, I'm gonna inform Zavala, Roze and Ikora about what I've found" Y/N suggested.

"I'll go speak with Roze, you can talk with the other two" Kara suggested instead, holding him close.

"You sure?" he asked with Kara smiling a little.

"Yeah" she nodded slightly. "Then... We could return to your home, kiss and cuddle, get something to eat and watch a movie through Glace conjuring up one for us" the cute blonde suggested further, now swooping him from his feet and into her strong embrace. "If you still have them saved" Supergirl looked toward Y/N's Ghost for confirmation.

"I suppose I can, you couldn't stop nagging me the last time" Glace groaned with Y/N chuckling loudly. "It's not funny, Guardian".

"Oh c'mon, it was" he chuckled, making Kara smile in his direction. "I find it cute when she's like that" he complimented before Glace disappeared into her safety spot, right with her Guardian.

"You mind if I fly us back?" Supergirl asked her boyfriend with a blush showing across her cheeks from his compliment. "From the Moon to the Earth, just like last time" she smiled at him.

"Would be nice, you're a gentlewoman" he smirked, planting a kiss on her cheek as she took off next, flying out of the Moon's orbit.

"I don't deserve you" she mumbled under her breath, within the corner of her eye, she could see Y/N smiling at her.

[Earth-201499 | Earth | The Last City, the Tower]

"Crota. Oryx. Ghaul. The list of those who tried to strip us from our Light goes on and on" Zavala monologued, with Y/N leaning on the balcony railing on the right hand side where Zavala usually would stand at when he wasn't within his office. "But this new threat... They will be like nothing we've faced before" he pointed out, indeed it was nothing they faced before...

This was a new threat, a threat responsible for Earth's Collapse.

"Kara's seen the ships before, on her world. If they exist on her universe? It's no doubt that they exist in other worlds too, but I could be wrong. Her planet, Krypton, was blessed by the Light, by the Traveler, then it mysteriously left. Years later? The Pyramids arrived, and not only that... The Hive were there also" Y/N told the Commander who scratched his chin for a moment.

"I often wondered about the Collapse" Zavala brought up his thoughts on the matter, everyone wondered what happened, it was only a moment too soon Zavala would think about it and bring it up. "And now with what you've told me, I now understand what they truly brought to our world, they sought to bring an end to humanity as a whole, the Darkness only seeks to bring corruption and death".

"I'm not sure if she can tell us much else but... For now it's all she remembers, it's still fresh to her, if she says anything else, I'll inform you all, we could use the information" Y/N nodded.

"I wonder what difference the Collapse would've been if Guardian had been there" Zavala wondered again, acknowledging Y/N however. "But I don't have to wait for them to come back to have my answer" he stepped forward as Y/N took himself off the railing, Zavala placed a hand on his shoulder. "It's already standing right in front of me".

"Heh, thanks Commander" Y/N acknowledged. "Means a lot when I have the weight of the world on my shoulders for some reason" he joked, Zavala let out a little smile for just a moment before it vanished.

"They claim to be our salvation. No... We will be theirs" Zavala pulls his hand off of Y/N's shoulder and back to his side. "The Vanguard stands behind you every step of the way. The Light is our strength. The Darkness will never take that from us. Fight on".

"Couldn't have said it any better. I'll need to inform Ikora of what I've discovered, if Kara hasn't already beaten me to her like she said she would" he informed the Commander who waved him away as a few Guardians approached him from their last mission.

"Evening Valby" Y/N greeted a Hunter.

"Oh! Evening Y/N, hi Glace" the Hunter named Valby waved, in the direction of the Guardian who was currently walking away. "I like your poncho!".

"Thank you! I'm not wearing it for long!" he shouted over to her while walking off. "Though it is pretty cool to wear one for a change" he mumbled to Glace.

"Maybe we could go to Eva Levante next time and ask about making a poncho for you?" Glace suggested as Y/N hummed at the idea.

"Perhaps" he shrugged, walking through the courtyard of the Tower.

"You think Kara's actually went ahead to see Ikora before you? She's probably still talking with Roze about our findings" she asked as Y/N looked at her.

"I don't know, last I heard, Roze was working closely with Ikora on something before we left early this morning" Y/N brought up. "No doubt she might be still with Ikora, they were discussing ways on finding a way home for Kara, with Praedyth helping I believe. And on keeping the bridge between our world and hers open".

"Because deep down, you were scared on never seeing her again" Glace pointed out which Y/N snapped himself to her.

"Of course I was!" he gestured dramatically. "I haven't felt this much in love in so long... Not since... Y'know".

"Yeah..." Glace lowered her tone.

"I miss her, she was great. I mean Kara's fantastic but, she knows she can't replace Rypha, she's smart to know that".

"Do you love Kara?" Glace asked rhetorically.

"Of course I do!" he protested. "I love her so much".

"I was just asking" Glace responded, following her Guardian down the steps past the Speaker's Quarters.

"I know, but... I really love her" he confessed, though Kara could probably hear him right now. "I do. She's been the best part of accidentally travelling to her universe, out of that discovery I mean. Most Guardians have already warmed up to her also, couldn't say the same for most of the other allies on her universe though" he doubted they'd warm up to him, after all... He was blamed for the Taken and Hive's presence, it felt unfair, even Kara said it herself.

However, he found solace in knowing that the Justice Society put trust in him, the same goes for the Outsiders, mainly Nightwing who he worked closely with a few times during his stay on that Earth.

"I often wonder how they're doing right now" Y/N brought up aloud, gaining Glace's attention.

"Who?" she asked politely.

"Nightwing, the Outsiders, vice versa" he responded. "I wonder how they're doing, there's still a lot of people for me to meet on Kara's Earth now speaking about it" he continued.

"I'm sure they're okay, if they're handling the Taken and Hive that are there that is" Glace assured him. "But weren't we talking about Kara?".

"We were, yes" he nodded. "About how much I love her" he brought up to her attention after heading down the hallway past the sweeper-bot. "And that one day, I'm thinking about-" he immediately came to a stop once he rounded the corner, seeing a smiling Supergirl, arms behind her cape within her cape as it billowed behind her in the soft evening wind.

She seemed to stop him in his tracks, having a goofy, bright smile on her face as her nothing but the bright colors of her costume lighting up the place as the sun was setting down for the evening, she was like an illuminating star in the dark when it came to her suit.

"Oh... H-Hi" Y/N sheepishly waved in her direction.

"I heard everything you said" she still wore her goofy big smile, beginning to float toward her boyfriend next.

"You did?" he asked dumbly before shaking his head. "Nevermind, don't answer that, you have that enhanced hearing" he brushed off.

"Super hearing" she corrected him before her boots contacted the ground, now standing closely in front of him. "But... Like I said, I heard everything you said from until there. I may never replace Rypha and I don't plan to. But I am so happy to be your girlfriend" she reassured him, while looking deep into his eyes and getting lost in them. "We've been together for... Quite some time now, haven't we?" she asked him with a big smile.

"Yeah, we have" he agreed. "And I love you, Kara Zor-El, Supergirl" he smiled, leaning in a little close.

"I love you too, Y/N, my Honeybun" she leaned in and closed the gap, their lips smacked off each other for a long kiss, with Kara wrapping her long cape around him soon after as she pulled back.

"Were you waiting for me to see Ikora?" Y/N asked. "If so, we should go see her, can't keep her waiting about what we-mmmph!" Kara abruptly interrupted him with a kiss to silence him before pulling back with a giggle. "Have to tell her" the Guardian finished his sentence finally after being taken aback by the unexpected kiss, still the girl giggled.

"You don't need to, I already told her since Roze was there also" she informed him with a smile.

"Oh... I see, so that's why you said you'd speak to her first before I do" Y/N realized as a familiar Guardian walked by who looked at the two as he walked by.

"Seems you've been caught in her trap" a Titan in copper and silver alloy armor walked past the two lovebirds, his voice robotic like an Exo, with a furnace as his chest armor, and fire erupting from his shoulder plates and shins.

"Appears so, she does with me all the time" Y/N acknowledged the Titan of Fireteam Hydron that walked by.

"Guessing Roze is down here, right?" the Titan asked the pair.

"Yep, she's with Ikora" Supergirl replied.

"Thanks" he gave a thumbs up before walking towards the Bazaar behind Kara, who then looked back at Y/N.

"Who was that?" she asked her boyfriend.

"Dox-2, an Exo. Roze's lover" he revealed which shocked Kara, she had heard of him through Roze but had never seen him before.

"That's Dox?! I actually haven't properly met him yet" she issued as Y/N chuckled.

"He maybe a Titan and an Exo, but he's got a big heart" the Guardian told her before realizing something else. "Shouldn't we keep this conversation for the couch?" he asked her as she smirked a little.

"I suppose so, but..." she unwrapped her cape and swooped him off his feet once again.

"Oh boy, here we go" Glace said aloud before vanishing out of sight.

"We can talk it over eating food, and a movie as we planned for the rest of the evening, you deserve some rest" her smirk turned into a sweet smile as she levitated up out from the underpass and up into the dusk-filled sky.

"You deserve some rest too, y'know? Not just me. We both have been through a very long and tough day" he chuckled, trying to make a point.

"Perhaps, but all I need is some sunshine and I'm good" she beamed. "I'm just glad to finally relax for a little bit, as much as I do love doing this".

The sun illuminated off the clouds, giving off a pink, orangish and blue cloudy atmosphere with some white clouds mixed into the sky with it as Supergirl soared all the way up, leaving a red, blue and yellow trail behind her as she soared like a missile, reflecting off of her costume.

"Guessing we go for the usual?" Supergirl asked.

"How about... We try something different?" Y/N suggested. "Take us to the south side of the city, there's a place that does good burgers".

"Yummy" the girl loved the sound of it, flying a little faster through the air towards the southside of the city...

[Earth-201499 | Earth | Hours Later | Outskirts of the Last City, Y/N's home]

Within the couch, laid Y/N, now in a t-shirt and shorts but barefooted, who was laying on top of Kara, wearing nothing but a vest and short shorts, with a blanket over the top of them.

A smile was on her face, holding Y/N tightly as he snuggled into her, his eyes watching ahead.

Ahead was Glace projecting a hologram like screen, with a movie playing in front of them, archived from Kara's Earth that Glace had saved, after being convinced by Kara to do so, as much as she disapproved of the idea, she began to understand as time went on.

Their left-over plates from having dinner were on the coffee table ahead, from having Banh Mi Burgers, a recipe that was made by the Drifter when he used to own and run a bar.

Kara had to admit that Drifter may not be an all around strange guy after all, with enough convincing from Y/N that was, the burgers seemed to do the trick however.

It was surely different from having Ramon mostly, Y/N usually took a Spicy Ramon, but nonetheless... She enjoyed the food, she was happy.

Kara felt a sudden shift in Y/N's movements, moving to get a little more comfortable in hugging and holding her, after spending the last five minutes kissing which she started. The girl looked down and thought about running her hand through his hair, she loved the way it felt so soft and fuzzy, letting out a little sigh of joy.

'Usually I'm the one who does the snuggling and cuddling into him, being the spoon in the relationship, how I love being held by him as I hold him when I take to the skies, when I wrap my cape around him just to keep him close to me at all times. But this? Him being the little spoon is just so cute' she made a mental note to herself, smiling down at him as he continued watching the movie. 'And this is the almighty God-Killer, who would know he's this cute behind all that armor'.

Currently, they were watching a romcom, romance movie of Kara's picking, (500) Days of Summer, surprisingly Glace had it saved in her data banks, where the... Other forms of unnecessary is but can be helpful if she needs it.

Kara began to contemplate if she should kiss him or not, before succumbing to her intentions and decided to lean down, kissing him on the side of the head before that got his attention as she heard a little soft chuckle.

"Yes milady?" he said sweetly and turned his head to look up at her, staring right into her baby blues as a smile came across his face.

"Oh? I was just... Well, I couldn't resist not kissing you on the side of the head. You're just so... Kissable" a flash of noticeable pink emanated across her cheeks.

"Haha, you should look at yourself in a mirror, you're much more kissable, love~♥" he flirted with a sweet manner, opting her to blush more redder before a smirk played upon her face.

"Is that so?" she asked while leaning down toward him.

"Yeah, it's the truth, my Angel" he smiled before he felt her lips on his, both closed their eyes as a long kiss went on along. Their lips gave out an audible smack after seven seconds, as their kiss continued again.

"Mmm. I love you" she moaned into his lips softly with a soft spoken voice.

"I love you too" he softly spoke back into her lips, the two soon pulling away from each other after one big kiss, laying on top of Kara once again as she wrapped an arm around him, big spooning her boyfriend.

"So, what if I had gone to the movies? What if I... Had gone somewhere else for lunch? What if I'd gotten there ten minutes later?" Zooey Deschanel's character, Summer, speaks to Joseph Levitt's character, Tom Hansen in the movie, both Y/N and Kara stayed silent as they watched.

Kara has at least seen this movie once, but it was Y/N's first time.

"It was... It was meant to be. And I just kept thinking... Tom was right"

"No!" exclaimed Tom in a awkward chuckle and smile.

"Haha. Yeah, I did. *Summer awkwardly laughs* I did"

"Aw that's sad" Y/N whispered to Kara who nodded and hummed.

"Yeah, it is, ain't it?" she put in a sneaky kiss on the side of his head as they continued watching the movie, 

"It just wasn't me you were right about"

Moments later... Summer holds Tom's hand with the ring on her finger from another man, knowing she had history with Tom, a lot of history.

"That's bittersweet" Y/N pointed out. "It just wasn't me you were right about" he repeated Summer's words as Kara smiled while watching.

"Isn't it??" she cooed. "From what I heard? This movie is a very important life lesson, heard that on social media the last I checked" the Girl of Steel told him as he shifted his head to face her again.

"Since when was that?" he asked her softly.

"Before we left for space on my Earth, during that Crisis y'know?" she reminded him, the Guardian still had a blank look on his face before she repeated herself again. "-Do you not remember?" she asked, slight worry in her voice.

"Hang on..." he was thinking long and hard, before it clicked on him. "Ohhh right, I remember now. Wasn't long ago you were brought here with me, from that Omega Beam or whatever it was that sent me and Glace back here" he was still scratching his head about it all, he didn't remember much, all he knew was there was a Crisis that went down.

"I think I also heard about someone that also looked a lot like you, fighting an evil version of my cousin? Can't remember the specifics, maybe Praedyth knows more about it" she wondered loudly, much to Y/N's confusion. "Oh right, he had a katana, apparently he had a human and demon form, and he had a grudge for someone, might've been that evil version of my cousin, who knows" she shrugged.

"Someone that looked like me, huh?" he contemplated. Kara hummed at him a yes "sounded like me??" he asked next and again, she hummed a yes and he thought about it. "Sounds... Kinda trippy".

"I know, weird isn't it?" she giggled a little, silence falling between them again as Y/N thought back to what Kara had said before she took him to get something to eat earlier.

She only briefly mentioned that she told Ikora and Roze more about the Pyramid attack on her planet, the Hive that were there, from her details, it sounded like Oryx's Brood. The only shocker was that her people and Krypton were once blessed by the Traveler, changed even, it set Krypton to a new age, their own version of a Golden Age.

Then the Traveler mysteriously left, it left their system, and the Kryptonians that time wondered it might've left to grant its gifts to other systems.

This only confirmed Ikora's theories on why the Taken might be too attracted to Kara's Earth, the Shards of Light back up her theory...

"The cosmic forces of Light and Dark might've had something to do with my Earth's restoration according to Y/N", was what Kara told Ikora. Once upon a time... Kara's Earth was wiped and replaced, reformatted into a newer Earth.

It was still mindboggling to even hear that possibility, the translatable text on the hidden chamber-like temple was also evidence of the possibility.

"Hey, Supes?" Y/N asked for Kara who in turn looked down at him, locking eyes with his.

"Mhm, what's wrong, Honeybun?" her attention now drawn to him, she asked sweetly and willing to listen to what he had to say or ask.

"How do you feel?" Y/N asked her, much to her arching an eyebrow at him for that.

"What?" she giggled. "How do I feel? I've got butterflies in my stomach and I'm happy" she smiled with a jolly tone.

"Right, I get that" he laughed. "What I meant was if I can rephrase what I meant to say?" he asked, Kara found it sweet that he asked for permission and she gave him the go-ahead anyway. "How do you feel now that you remember what really happened on Krypton?" Kara's smile soon dropped, turning a little sorrowful. "That you also remember all the things that happened before that? I know I shouldn't ask but-".

"It's okay..." she interrupted with a soft tone, before kissing him on the nose. "You already know that I felt traumatized by it, and I still do... It's still all fresh to me" she sunk her shoulders, looking mighty down as Y/N began to regret asking. "And before you give me that regretful look, I feel relieved" she abrupted. "I feel a little bit better now that I remember and with that? It makes me stronger the next time I face that... Thing" she said with a distaste in her mouth near the end.

"You feel relieved?" he asked her.

"Yes" she nodded in unison. "I feel so much better now that it's off my chest and I've got nothing to hide, now that I remember" she confided in him, locking eyes with his. "Losing Krypton hurt me in so many ways... But I had my cousin, I had... You, both of you to be precise, Glace too" she made a simple nod to Y/N's Ghost still projecting the movie.

"Are you two even watching the movie? I can stop rolling it if you want me to" Glace asked the pair of lovebirds.

"Keep it rolling, we're just talking" Kara suggested before locking eyes with Y/N again. "Like I said... *giggle* I had you and Kal to help me get through it, Earth was weird to me at first, but... Then the shopping spree in Metropolis? It made me feel so... Connected, it felt like a dream. I almost felt at home again in a way" she smiled. "But then the other events that transpired, but you were there for me to see it through until I made my decision to become... Supergirl" Kara softly let out a giggle, looking down to where her House of El crest would be if she was wearing her crop top and cape right now.

"So you're saying that... I'm like a pillar in your life?" he cocked an eyebrow up.

"Yeah" she softly laughed. "Yeah... A pillar of love is what the human term would be".

"You've grown to Earth customs a lot recently" he pointed out, Kara however rolled her eyes, hearing that one before.

"Already heard that before" she giggled again, booping his nose. "But I still remember Kryptonian customs, even more than I could remember since I'm starting to remember... So many remembers in one sentence" she pointed out before laughing.

It was enough to make Y/N softly laugh with her, he simply loved hearing her laugh and having a good time. 'She really needed a good laugh after today, and so do I, even if it's just a silly thing to laugh at' he thought to himself.

Their laughter soon died down after a few little moments went by of them looking into each other's eyes.

"Y'know... Speaking about me remembering more about Krypton" Kara broke the silence that fell between them. "How about I tell you much more about Krypton, the stories and all that I'm beginning to remember" she suggested, running a finger through his hair, playing with it.

Kara then proceeded to push a strand of her own golden locks behind her ear as some of her parted hair on the side hanged down from the left side of her face, tickling Y/N's cheek after he shuffled himself up to Kara to snuggle further into her, feeling the warmth of her hair tickling him softly.

"During the movie?" he asked with a soft tone. "Can you tell me after? I promise not to fall asleep when you do" he bargained.

"You pinky promise? Last time I told you a story, you began snoozing not long after" Kara held out her pinky while using her arm to bring him in further.

"She's not wrong" Glace put in her word.

"I promise! I won't fall asleep..." he gave Kara his word.

"Where's the pinky?" she held hers out but didn't see his and pouted.

"I... Pinky promise" he brought out his pinky and the two connected them together for a short amount of time before softly laughing and pulling their pinky finger away, with their eyes locking onto each other.

"I love you, Y/N. I don't care how many times I have to say it, but I love you" Kara leaned her face closer to his, her eyes slowly blinking towards his.

"I love you too, Kara Zor-El" he said back to her before Kara's lips connected upon his once more, softly kissing away at each other before the initial pullback for him needing air, feeling breathless by her kiss. "Let's enjoy the rest of the movie and rest for now" he said with a slight out of breath tone. "We're gonna be busy tomorrow, that's for sure".

"Fine by me" she booped his nose and kissing his temple, allowing him to snuggle up with her once again, Kara wrapped her muscled arms around Y/N, spooning her Guardian boyfriend once more...
