S2 - Ch.4 - The Deep
[Earth-201499 | The Moon | Sanctuary]
With the death of Hashladûn at the hands of Supergirl and Y/N, the pair soon returned to Eris Morn with the next step of her plan of finding a way within the Pyramid Ship underneath the Scarlet Keep.
On the other note, Eris had kept close tabs on Supergirl's abilities and strength, hearing from Ikora, she found the Girl of Steel to be intriguing, hearing about another world beyond theirs had found Eris's curiosity.
Perhaps she could question Kara later about the other 'Earth' the caped girl herself came from, but for now? They had work to do.
Supergirl and Y/N approached Eris, soon noticing a new Phantom that loomed at Eris, in the form of a Titan.
"Another Phantom?" Y/N questioned, looking directly at the Phantom, who looked back at him with a faceless look, just like the other Phantoms to him and Kara.
However... Eris could see the Phantom's true face, in the form of another friend of hers.
Eris turned around to face the pair, hearing Y/N's question. "It is no surprise that the Pyramid now inflicts the Phantom of Omar Agah upon me, as the Pyramid trembles under the weight of our progress" Eris answered briefly, despite talking over her Phantoms. "With every victory, it will do anything to stop us from getting inside. The spoils of Hashladûn's death are twofold".
Supergirl crossed her arms, sighing to herself for a moment before opening her mouth to speak. "Well, Hashladûn's dead like you said, Y/N picked up a 'tablet' from her burning corpse, something about a Crypto-thingy?" she raised an eyebrow, trying to remember what it was.
"A Cryptoglyph" Y/N corrected her.
"Thank you" she smiled briefly in Y/N's direction.
"We now know what the Hidden Swarm have been using to shield themselves from the Nightmares successfully, and where it lies" Eris stopped momentarily, trying to ignore the Phantoms haunting her as both Y/N and Supergirl noticed something off.
"Eris?" Y/N showed concern.
"Are you okay?" Glace soon asked.
"It's those Phantoms" Supergirl took notice, seeing Eris quiver a little from the Phantom of Sai Mota.
"I-I am... Fine" Eris soon answered. "As I... Was saying, we have found what they have been using to shield themselves successfully from the Nightmares and where it is located. The Cryptoglyph" Eris paused for a moment again, bearing her thoughts. "If there ever was a more powerful set of runes the Hive use to conjure their magics, I have yet to learn of it..." she paused again for a moment...
"But... Where is this Cryptoglyph?" Supergirl questioned.
"I have a feeling it could be somewhere... Horrific" Y/N answered, thinking back of one place he wouldn't dare tremble within again.
"Your assumptions are correct" Eris answered next. "Our Cryptoglyph lies... In the depths of the Hellmouth" she soon revealed.
"I knew it..." Y/N quietly said to himself.
"It is within the Catacombs of the Hellmouth" Eris soon added, gaining both the pair's attention. "Somewhere in that Hive-infested labyrinth lies our Cryptoglyph".
"The Catacombs?" Y/N questioned. "Anyone who entered there, never returned hours later, we often called it 'The Deep', considering it was a place not a roam within".
"That won't happen" the Maiden of Might held onto Y/N's hand. "I'll be going with, we're doing this as a team, and I'm as damn as sure you will be returning, both of you" she looked at both Y/N and Glace.
"Be careful... In that Tomb... Light does not find a way" Eris warned.
"Y/N won't need Light, he has me to protect him" Supergirl said with a wholesome feel to her words, standing tall and brave, if this Cryptoglyph of Hive magic was needed to fight the Pyramid? Then they'll be going into the depths to get it. Kara is truly willing to make sure Y/N comes back from the depths... From The Deep...

[New-Earth Reborn | Earth, Metropolis USA | Unknown Location]
He had everything planned... Everything...
For all his schemes he had in place to put an end to the man he hated the most, the man that overshadowed him... The true 'savior' Metropolis needed... He remembered the day that man appeared and since then?
He ruined his life... At least according to him.
From once being President of the United States, to now but a man filled with a void of disgust for that Kryptonian... All Kryptonians in fact, he once tried to use Supergirl as a pawn with Black Kryptonite but that backfired.
Now?
He had lost his true possession...
LexCorp, the very company he created and named after himself...
Now his own LexCorp board had turned against him, writing him off after all the schemes and activities he has done, all the crimes he committed, despite being cleared from all the charges, he lost his company... His wealth... His dignity.
He blamed Superman, Clark Kent and all those who stood by the Man of Steel, he swore revenge... And he would get it sooner than later.
Lex Luthor... Was now but history in people's eyes, they often gave him a lot of backlash, after all the crimes he's committed, no one truly forgave him at all, they would never forgive someone who has tried again and again, to kill the heroes that saved them and Earth for the years to come ahead.
However... He would make sure to never make them forget who he was, even if he had to lash out at Metropolis for forgetting him, he'd make sure everyone remembered this day.
But...
Upon this... Lex had discovered something... Strange but amazing...
An artifact... That resembled a tetrahedron structure, that had an art of a figure of someone, holding a symbol on its left hand and the other? An obelisk that floated above its hand, it looked like smoke coming out from his head.
He found it intriguing and once he had laid his hands upon it? He began to hear voices in his head, at least whispers repeating in his head, calling out to him.
He'd often hear his own voice whisper to him, calling, beckoning, wanting an audience with him, he kept ignoring the whispers, he only wanted to use the artifact's power for his own goals...
To get revenge against the people who turned his life upside down, no matter the cost.
He was calibrating the artifact for power usage, finding it a remarkable power source that was even better than using Kryptonite to power his own mech suit, it resonated with an unknown energy, an energy he had never seen before.
"Lex" his own voice whispered in his head.
He ignored the whisper in his head, if anyone else was around, they'd assume he would be crazy.
But he wasn't crazy... Was he? He's crazy for power, but he's not crazy in the head... Or so at least...
Whatever this artifact is? It has an amazing power source for what he has planned...
It was a strange few months for Lex, even after the crisis of his other counterpart and a villainous Kryptonian that resembled a young Superman, the days following after had put a strange question on everyone's heads that were involved in this Crisis...
The First Knife...
Who is this First Knife?
And what are they??
"Alexander Joseph Luthor" the whisper then called out his full name, no one has ever called him that in such a long time, everyone calls him Lex... But not... Alexander Joseph Luthor, only his mother called him that.
He stopped what he was doing, as the room around him began to change, the power of the artifact began to shift and create an illusion in his head, he found himself within his own office at LexCorp... A familiar place to him...
"What? My office?" he questioned. he looked out at the window and saw nothing but a black atmosphere, which is when he began to assume this was a memory he sorely keeps in his head.
The comfort of his office, how he dreamt to have it back in his possession again, still angered by the fact he was written off the board of his own company, one he created himself with all the wealth and money he had to make it a reality and it still stands today... With his own name plastered on it.
"Who are you?! Why are you showing me this?!?" he looked up at the ceiling of his familiar office, thinking the voice was above him.
"You finally answered?" his voice spoke back to him. "Good... We have been waiting for an answer, and now? We have it" it presented itself as 'we', detailing there's more behind the voice in his head, even if he could hear only his own voice speaking to him. "We have been watching you, for a long time we have. Through your own counterparts, you are the one we seek, your intelligence knows no bounds. It is a shame you are driven out of your own comfort, we sense your desire for revenge against all those who defy you"
"You didn't answer my question-"
"Our identity has already been spoken..." the voice replied, interrupting Lex with a loud voice that spoke over his own. "You may have heard it, we know you have" the voice added on before Lex turned around to hear his own voice speaking to him, taking the form of... Himself, a reflection of Lex Luthor.
Lex took a few steps back, somewhat horrified of seeing his own self move without the need of a mirror, not even reflecting his every move like a mirror can... He was staring...
At an entity...
He began to look interested not long after, still skeptic about his... 'Reflection' staring back at him, finger tips touching one another, its hands together like a steeple hand gesture, it stared right into Lex's eyes and soul... Communicating with him.
"The First Knife?" Lex questioned to himself before he let out a snicker. "So you're the one my counterpart warned us about" Lex smirked, the Entity that took his form outstretched its hands.
"Your counterpart was nothing but a pawn" it spoke in his voice again, a hint of whispers behind its words soon followed. "He was destined to fail regardless, as he did before" Lex gave a confused look upon his reflection.
"Before?" Lex questioned.
"Yes, your universe had once existed... That was before a world-altering event had wiped out your entire universe, giving birth to a new universe. However..." the figure of Lex the Entity took form of, had walked past Lex himself, looking outside the window as the dark atmosphere began to dissipate. "Your counterpart had once tried the same thing, and he failed, along with that other pawn of his" the darkened atmosphere began to show Pyramidic ships, and a world burning before its very eyes, dark obelisks and structures created all around the Earth itself outside of LexCorp.
Lex took a glimpse outside and saw it for himself, to say he was shocked was an understatement.
His only focus was on the Entity that spoke in his form and voice.
"No... It is impossible"
"Nothing... Is impossible" Lex's reflection spoke back, still looking out the window. "Allow us... To open your mind on our knowledge... Alexander. If you surely want to accept it, our offer is a generous offer, one that can open your mind extensively, openly... Your genius knows no bounds, you want power... We can grant you it"
Lex looked brief, concerned about trusting this... Entity, he worked with aliens before but this?
This was different, the artifact? A gift? He merely found it and took it for himself, not as a gift by some being that left it there for him to find.
For whatever this Entity had to say?
He would surely want to understand its knowledge of the universe... By any means...
"Go on... I'm listening" he crossed his arms.

[Earth-201499 | The Moon | The Catacombs, Hellmouth]
A shot from the Ace of Spades ringed out as a Knight dropped dead onto the floor, its body parts soon dissolving into chitin powder with only a Worm larvae left where it once stood.
Y/N took aim at the worm before pulling the trigger, killing the Worm with one shot before it combusted, splattering its greenish-yellow blood on the floor.
"Always satisfying when they go pop" he made a note to himself.
Supergirl soon joined up with him after dealing with her fair share of Hive that awaited her and Y/N within the Catacombs.
"I think that's the last of them, there's definitely more up-ahead" Supergirl sighted with her x-ray vision and enhanced sight, she had no need for a flashlight, she could easily see in the dark as it is, one of her many abilities to see in these types of areas, whether its smoke or dark places.
The pair soon came across a closed door and in front of the door was a Hive rune plate, knowing the plate was required to be activated to open the door itself.
"Great, if it isn't a door that requires a plate to capture to open it" Y/N cussed to himself. "Gettin' real tired of these Hive and their plates".
"I've got this" Supergirl cracked her knuckles before beginning to pry the door open herself, using all her strength to try open it.
"Uh... Are you sure that's a good idea?" Y/N questioned as Supergirl proved him wrong, the door began to pry open by the might of Kara's hands, she groaned with not much effort as the doors squeaked open.
Supergirl gritted her teeth, forcing the door open without the need to a darn Hive rune to open, she completely broke the rules and she didn't care about breaking the rules, she only broke them when she needed to, Y/N knew that obviously.
The Guardian let out a little whistle after she pried the door open with just her bare hands, it was no wonder why she was nicknamed the 'Maiden of Might' for nothing. "My oh my, that was kinda hot" he made a mental note to himself about Kara's ability.
"Heard that" she smiled a little and winked at him
"No, I was meaning that... You breaking the rules there was..." he stopped, finding himself beginning to stutter a little with a heat falling upon his cheeks.
"It's okay, Tiger. I know" she briefly smiled, dusting off her hands "C'mon, doors open, let's go! Got more Hive to deal with up-ahead" she continued forward.
Her eyes turned red and her heat vision shot out at a Shrieker that opened up, her baby blues soon returned after she instantly took out Shrieker before she landed on the ground, beginning to take the fight to the Hive that awaited her and the Guardian.
She grabbed a Thrall by the throat as it tried biting her before throwing it toward a group of Thrall that were enclosing on her, tanking a shot next from a Acolyte that shot her from cover.
She was about to target the Acolyte that shot her, before a bullet whiffed past her, hitting the Acolyte square in the face, right between its three eyes.
"Save some Hive for me will ya?" Y/N pouted in an unserious manner, trying to lighten up the mood a little and Kara knew he was trying to, she applauded him for it anyway.
She felt nothing but dread since the Pyramid sighting, since that Pyramid brought back memories of the final days of Krypton, of her home being torn apart by the invading Pyramid Ships, causing the Kryptonian's version of the Collapse upon them.
However from this feeling, she smiled at her boyfriend from the unserious manner coming from him, it was he who brightened her day and night up when no one else could.
"Should I?" she teased before watching him leap into the air with a fan of Solar knives, discharging them toward a group of Acolytes buddied up with a Wizard. "There's some more up-ahead" she flew off, beginning to take care of the rest.
What followed afterwards was icy breath shooting out of Kara's lips, freezing up a Knight before smashing it into pieces, then proceeded to punch some Thrall that ran toward her with their claws, ready to dig them into Kara's skin and suit.
She threw one away and Y/N was quick enough to put a bullet into the Thrall that got thrown like a skeet target, he thought back to when he and Kara done a competition to see who was the fastest at shooting down skeet targets.
And Y/N turned out to be the victor, meanwhile Kara claimed he cheated...
Which she wasn't wrong about in a way... He had distracted her during the game and still to this day... She awaited a rematch.
One day maybe... One day...
"Huh? The door's opening for us" Y/N approached after the remaining Hive were dealt with, before a Hive Knight with a shield showed up behind the door, buddied up with Thrall. "Oh, wasn't expecting-"
"I got 'em" she interrupted with a yawn before she shot out more of her freeze breath at the Hive, encasing them in ice, the Knight and Thrall before them froze solid into place.
"I'm guessing you knew judging from the yawn you let out just there?" he asked, Supergirl shot him a look about the obvious question.
"You already know the answer to that" she remarked before clapping her hands together once, sending out a thunderous wave of air that dissipated the ice, along with the Hive encased within it. "Ways clear".
"Hey, uh... I gotta tell you something" Y/N then told her, to which she turned around to face him.
"Right now?" she raised an eyebrow at him. "We're currently in a mission right now, but sure! What's on your mind?" she asked him, her hands on her hips, awaiting for him to respond with what he had to tell her.
On the other note? He wasn't sure how to tell her what he had to say, from what Glace had found and decoded from the walled text they had found within that secret temple back on Kara's Earth in San Francisco.
"Uh..." he stumbled as Kara stepped forward a little, looking a little worried next.
"Y/N? Tiger?? Is something wrong?" she asked with a worried glance toward him, holding his left hand in her right hand, hearing him stumbling wasn't good news to her at all, obviously it meant something bad or worse usually.
"Uh... Y'know what? I think it's best I'll tell you later" he changed his mind, Glace shot a look at her Guardian momentarily, knowing about what he had to say. "It's got nothing to do with our situation".
Supergirl looked at her boyfriend's Ghost for a moment who shook herself. "We'll tell you later, we've got a mission, like you said" she told her.
"Agreed" Kara nodded. "C'mon, let's push onwards, and I wouldn't go in that undercroft, it's... Ew" she scrunched her face up upon pointing out the crevice to go under in through the way.
"Why? What's..." Y/N approached and knelt down to see why... Only to find Hive Worm larvae squirming in it. "YYYeah... Good call, as much as I do want to shoot and pop them" the description made the Girl of Steel gag quietly as he stood up from his knee, back onto his two feet before looking up. "Well, I guess we're going up then" he jumped up, using his double jump onto the second path through.
Supergirl followed by levitating up and off the ground, following behind him as they made their way through the little maze, shadows of Thrall lit the walls,, crawling across the walls in a shadowed figure.
Those shadows weren't real, it was like the Thrall that Y/N and Glace had seen once before... The Pyramid was conjuring these false enemies to haunt them, let alone? Use enemies from their past to haunt them and the Guardians.
It didn't take long until they eventually made it out of the little puzzle, Y/N jumped down as Supergirl floated down behind him, the pair soon coming at a stop once their eyes laid upon not only dozens of Phantoms around the entire space...
But the looming Pyramid Ship laying dormant, up very close with its shadowy edge illuminating off the green atmosphere around.
"I... I-I didn't think we'd be this close to it already" Supergirl said with a shaky breath, all she could remember still was the screams and terror from the people of Krypton when Kandor was under attack by these ships, the pure horror on everyone that day.
Which turned from a happy festival...
To nothing short of Krypton's inevitable end, caused by the Darkness.
"Nor did I" Y/N soon answered, before Glace felt sick again, her Light being suppressed, with Y/N feeling it also.
"M-My Light... It's happening again" Glace issued, the sickening feeling coming back up due to the Pyramid's influence.
"Focus" Eris suddenly spoke through the comms. "The Pyramid distracts, nothing more. When you both have the Cryptoglyph in hand, I will teleport you both out" Eris added near the end before she chimed out.
Y/N then looked on ahead, seeing another Hive plate down the set of short stairs and the bridge being out.
"The bridge is out and there's another Hive rune plate" he pointed out, much to his annoyance.
"No worries, I'll fly us over" Supergirl offered, swooping her boyfriend off his feet before taking off, beginning to fly over the bridge without any need of a plate to summon the bridge itself.
Glace soon disappeared back into Y/N's backpack, upon Kara flying Y/N across the illuminated path of the bridge to get across, taking note of the the dozens of Phantoms that watched Supergirl fly past them with the Guardian in her embrace.
She couldn't shake the feeling that these Phantoms were Guardians that died here on the Moon, dozens of them were spotted here. These Phantoms were faceless, just like the Phantoms haunting Eris.
"More Phantoms, just like the ones haunting Eris" Y/N noticed these Phantoms staring at them, some even opted to move out the way when Supergirl continued flying across.
She took notice of these Phantoms looking at her too, not liking the idea that these Phantoms are even looking at her, it only sent a sickening feeling in her stomach... To think that these were Guardians was something else.
"Faceless Guardians watching us" Y/N soon added, both hating the feeling they're being watched by the Phantoms, it was uncomfortable.
"They're nothing more than a distraction" Glace said to both Y/N and Kara, Y/N hearing Glace in his head while Kara heard her through her ear piece.
Supergirl soon arrived at the other side, placing down her boyfriend back onto his feet just on top of the stairs where she landed, before they began walking forward to find their objective.
Ahead of them... Laid what they were seeking, the very object that was needed to fight the Nightmares and hopefully create more of that armor.
The Cryptoglyph was now in sight...
"The Cryptoglyph" Y/N sighed with relief before noticing a shield over it, shielded by the three Hive Wizards. "Great... Three Hive Wizards to deal with, they seem to be shielding the Cryptoglyph".
"Not for long they won't" she confidently told him, beginning to approach the Cryptoglyph as the Wizards spotted them.
They sent out a warning shriek that alerted the Hive within the area, soon two Wizards disappeared and Supergirl heard where they teleported to, not as far away from her but just at the little fortress area that was built ahead of them within the area.
"You take the one here, I got the other two" she told him as she levitated off the ground.
"Wait, I thought-" Supergirl zoomed off to go after the two Hive Wizards that vanished away, leaving him alone with the one Wizard and some Hive to deal with. "Well, let's get this over and done with" he said to himself as he began shooting his gun at the Wizard.
the Wizard retaliated with firing Arc blasts out of its hands again, prompting Y/N to take cover behind the pair of rocks that were conveniently placed there, it was the closest cover he could find.
"Solar shield, not surprised" he said to himself, Glace helpfully transmatted Aya's sniper into Y/N's hands for him to take out the Wizard's shielding more easily,
"Got your back, Guardian" Glace informed him with a rough sounding voice, noting to have his back only made him a little more comfortable in this situation.
"Glad to hear you always do, we'll be out here soon" he replied before taking the shot at the shielded Wizard, popping its shield open in a Solar burst, dealing damage to the Wizard itself.
At the corner of his eye, he could see the little fortress being lit up by red lights, showcasing that Kara was using her heat vision mostly, let alone a screech that came from the Hive Wizard she went after first.
He put in a few shots that erupted the Wizard in blue scorching flames, dealing some minor Solar damage on it before he found himself ambushed by Thrall.
"W-W-Watch out!" One of them dug their Arc claws into his leg after he dodged, resulting in a tense scrape across his leg, Glace's warning was a little slower than usual.
"Argh! You bastard!" he cursed out, following him shooting the Thrall that snuck up before blasting the rest. "Damn lucky I don't need a sewing kit to fix this" he noticed the three claw marks that arms down his gunslinger pants.
"G-Guardian, I-I'm sorry-"
"I'm alright, don't worry. We'll be out here shortly" he sensed his sickly Ghost's feeling, the Pyramid was doing no better than distracting Glace further, whatever it was doing to her, he felt it a little, which wasn't a good sign.
A few Acolytes then rounded the rocks, firing on him, making him dodge their shots before a blade popped out of the mechanism on his left wrist and he jammed it into the Acolyte nearest to him, using his hand cannon next to take out the remaining Acolytes that rushed him.
The Wizard on the other hand, soon spotted Supergirl from the top, dealing with the last Wizard she went after, promptly taking it out with a flurry of punches.
"Hey, ugly!" Y/N called out, his sniper charging up with a blue flaming hue, scoped in, ready to fire. "Here's a gift for ya!" he pulled the trigger, the big silver bullet travelled out the barrel and into the Hive Wizard before a blue illuminated explosion erupted after a second.
The only remains of the Wizard was its screech and parts of the Wizard hit the ground soon after, only lit with a blue fire.
Y/N sighed with relief soon after, he was about to pull out his Gjallarhorn if Aya's sniper hadn't done the job to put down the Wizard.
"You both okay?" Supergirl soon joined back, lasering a Thrall that attempted to attack Y/N before he returned the favor by shooting a Boomer Knight that stood where the girl once was. "Oh Y/N, your leg" she showed worry upon seeing his leg bleeding, he didn't seem bothered about it much.
"Don't worry, I'm fine, it's a minor injury" he told her, she even x-rayed it to see how deep the cut went, and thankfully... He wasn't wrong or the fact he was just lying. "Glace can patch me up once we're out of here" as he spoke, the shield around the Cryptoglyph disappeared, with the Hive Wizards and the rest of the Hive now dealt with.
"Speaking about that" Supergirl pressed her fists into her hips. "I'd say we get this thing and get out of here, Eris can manage to teleport all of us out, right?" the blonde asked her boyfriend curiously, with slight concern added to her tone the very last few words she spurted out to him.
"She's managed before with my old Fireteam and some other Fireteams" Y/N revealed to her. "She'll get us out" he jumped up to the square platform to pick up the Cryptoglyph.
Y/N soon picked up the Cryptoglyph, before it resized to fit his hands, now smaller than it first looked like from before, soon Glace transmatted it into the Guardian's inventory.
"Eris, we have the Cryptoglyph. Teleport us out..." Glace called to Eris.
The pair stood still, expecting something to happen, but Supergirl noticed something was off, Eris hadn't responded, and immediately Y/N and Glace noticed something was wrong. "Um, is something supposed to happen?" the Girl of Steel began to levitate, thinking of Plan B, a plan she thought of from earlier, resulting with her flying Y/N out of the Catacombs.
"E-E-Eris? Are you there?" Glace said with a little pain, the Pyramid's influence became stronger than earlier before the lights around them cut out.
"Uh, Supes?" Y/N's voice shook a little. "About that plan of yours".
"Already on it" she swooped her boyfriend up from his feet and into her arms before beginning to take flight, Hive reinforcements soon arrived with Tomb Ships and fired upon the flying caped wonder. 'They're seriously shooting at us?' Kara thought to herself, calling them idiots soon after when she continued flying, even through the little maze they went through earlier.
"You know the way back?" he asked her.
"Yep, hang on tight!" she kept her eyes toward where she was going, but making sure he was kept safe tightly in her own arms and hands, holding him like a bride.
The door ahead was close to shut on them but Supergirl zoomed right out before it could even close on them, vibrating herself at a frequency to phase through the door and in benefit? It worked with Y/N also which was a bonus.
"We're... We're okay?! What the hell did you just do?" Y/N asked her, he also felt himself phase through the door though he dug his face into the crook of her neck upon seeing the door, thinking she was going to fly straight through it like an idiot.
"Vibrated myself with my super speed" she told him, though it sounded impossible while she was in flight. "It's easy, vibrated so fast I can phase through solid objects, let alone? I phased both of us through the door".
"Since when?" he asked.
"Did I not tell you before?" she asked before shaking her head. "Nevermind about that right now, let's get out of here first".
"Well, no you haven't" the Guardian answered anyway. "But yes, a conversation for another time I suppose" he agreed.
More Hive shot at them as Supergirl continued flying her partner out, which the girl almost got hit by a lucky shot from a Acolyte below, narrowly just missing her arm before she burst forward with speed to knock down any Hive below with a little sonic boom.
Soon enough, light was soon found within the Catacombs, with a flight of stairs up-ahead. The comms began to scramble with Eris trying to make contact with the pair that went into the Catacombs originally.
As Supergirl finally flew out of the Catacombs however, she turned back to fire her heat vision at the top of the entrance, sending down rubble to prevent any Hive from coming out of the Catacombs, if that would even stop them that is, before she flew out of the Hellmouth itself.
"Shit, we got out?" Y/N soon realized they're now out of the Catacombs, no thanks to Supergirl's efforts on flying him out of there in no time, despite getting shot but it proved no issue to the Girl of Steel from what it seemed, she was steeled.
"You doubting me? After all this time??" the Maiden of Might questioned her boyfriend as she landed onto the Lunar surface, no hostiles in sight at all.
Y/N only gave her a little smile before pulling himself forward, pressing his lips against Supergirl's cheek to leave a kiss. "My Hero".
"It's what I do best" she smirked before the comms crackled once more.
"Guardian? Kara??" Eris's worried tone soon spoke through the little disturbance. She sounded shaken in another note.
"We're okay, Eris... We're alive. I flown us out" Supergirl responded to the Bane of the Swarm, soon letting out a relieved sigh.
"And we've got the Cryptoglyph, we're all safe" Glace soon joined in. Starting to sound a little better now rather than earlier, none of the monotone voice or the stuttering.
"I thought you three..." Eris paused for a moment, catching her breath over the comms. "I'm sorry. The immense Darkness of the Pyramid kept me from you all, I was unable to teleport you out" Eris sounded a little shaken still, thinking she was about to lose more people, someone she knew very well and the other? Someone new but understands how much she means to Y/N, she thought she had sent them to their doom and would live to regret that decision if the worse outcome happened.
"It's okay Eris" Y/N soon responded to her. "Should we return?" he then asked her.
"Yes... Yes, return to me, we should not waste time" Eris responded, Supergirl once again swept Y/N off his feet and took flight with him safely in her arms. "With the Cryptoglyph in hand, we stand a chance against the Pyramid. Bring it here, and let us make use of it..."
