With the Nightmare Essence now purified, Y/N and Kara soon return to Eris Morn for their next objective with using the Essence itself to fight back against the Nightmares and the Pyramid on the Moon, it wasn't easy but they managed to cleanse it by the Alters of Sorrow outside the Scarlet Keep's entrance itself, where the Hive lured conjured Nightmares for the ritual of sacrifice...

Eris had a plan on how to fully utilize the Nightmare Essence the pair had cleansed, something that recalls back to her past, a powerful magic that soon unearthed the Essence itself, into... A poncho.

One that Y/N had to wear, Eris called it "the Dreambane armor" when she first unearthed the Essence, Y/N had no such eyes for a cloak but a poncho? He wouldn't mind wearing one, even if it had some cloth hanging behind him like a cape, Kara always wondered if Y/N would wear a cape one day and it seemed her wish was half true.

But currently, the pair had fanned out together to hunt down the Omnigul Nightmare at Eris's behest, further Nightmare Essence could drop from the Nightmare of Omnigul herself.

Upon entering through the Temple of Crota, where Y/N had famously 'Woken the Hive', Kara had a question bugging her mind, though her thoughts were still thinking about the Pyramid under her feet, the same ship that brought ruin to her world of Krypton.

Facing wave, after wave of Hive waiting for them throughout the Temple, their destination for the World's Grave area within Hive territory, Kara had finally built up courage to ask the question about Omnigul, since she wanted to know more about this... Daughter of Crota.

Supergirl fired her heat vision out to a group of Hive Acolytes that took cover behind placed defenses that had been present for years, the lasers pierced right through the solid wall, incinerating the Acolytes hiding for cover, knowing how powerful the Girl of Steel was.

"I gotta ask" Supergirl began her descent onto the ground, grabbing a Thrall by the head before punching a hole through the scrawny body, breaking the Thrall like a twig as a worm then popped out and plunged onto the ground, to Kara's disgust. "Omnigul... What made her so... Unique than a normal Hive Wizard? Regarding the fact she killed Guardians before hand" she fired her heat vision down at the worm, killing it in an instant, she had no devoid of Hive lives, they had no lives, they're entire existence is to kill and that's it.

Y/N hammer fired his hand cannon rapidly at a Hive Knight enclosing on his position before rolling out the way, putting more shots into the Knight before it eventually fell and died, with a worm also plunging out of its host.

"I can tell you" Eris replied to Supergirl's question. "Blind devotion is a dangerous thing, but when it came to Crota, Omnigul knew no other way. She raised for him an army of Hive and tore apart throngs of Guardians" the detail itself was enough to make Kara not regret killing the Hive she decimated earlier... And on her Earth.

'Y/N was right... The Hive are creatures that shouldn't be spared at all, not to mention... They're gross' Supergirl narrated.

"Omnigul left much suffering in her wake. Suffering the Pyramid now uses against us. It expects us to fall to that which we have conquered. Not today" Eris finally finished speaking before tuning out the comms, Y/N finished with his batch of Hive within the World's Grave, Glace's checkpoint marker just up ahead where the Omnigul Nightmare was festering.

Supergirl soon joined back up with Y/N, floating on over and landing beside him as they made their way toward the marker which Y/N could only see, a Nightmare Essence up ahead sitting in the middle of a pedestal, waiting for them to arrive.

"Eris, Omnigul Nightmare spotted" Y/N called out to Eris, who responded a second later.

"Show it no mercy" Eris said with a tone that sounded seething before tuning out.

The Essence began to dissipate, shaping form into Omnigul as an alien like noise erupted out into the pairs ears like a bell or something, before Omnigul let out her signature scream, alerting the Hive to join her.

(Nightmare of Omnigul, Will of Crota)

"Dang... That's loud, forgot about that" Y/N held his ears, before Supergirl flew on in, beginning the fight as Y/N soon joined her, fighting off the Hive alongside her while putting in some shots onto Omnigul. He began to contemplate if he should pull out his Gjallarhorn to do some massive damage.

Omnigul sent out blasts of arc bolts from her clawed hands, before using magic to spawn in darkness inflicted smoke that dealt damage overtime within the smoke, covering parts of the room which Y/N unfortunately got caught in while fending off some Thrall.

The Nightmare of Omnigul recognized the Guardian, she remembered falling to this one Guardian, even if she isn't fully real, she is but a conjure of his mind, knowing that she had died once before, she won't die again to one mere Guardian and his... 2nd fireteam member.

A sense of hatred for the Guardian surged through Omnigul, knowing now the same Guardian that had killed her, is now here... To slay her again, he may have killed Crota, but he lives again, even if its through a conjured Nightmare generated from the Pyramid.

Y/N soon managed to get out of the black smoke field, before he began to get shot at again by Omnigul - who focused her attention on him, her full... Attention.

"I think she remembers me" Y/N called out.

"You don't say!" Glace's voice overlapped her Guardian's hand cannon firing, before he activated Golden Gun to wipe out his ambushers the next in the form of Cleaver Knights and Thrall.

"Hey! Ugly!!" Supergirl called out to Omnigul, gaining her attention before the red caped and yellow outlined girl with the crop top and symbol that represented her family, upper-cutted Omnigul before performing a flying punch right past her, knocking a few teeth out of her. "Focus on me! Not him" she called out, pointing to herself before crossing her arms in a power pose within the air.

Omnigul began chanting in Hive language, before a red shielding overtook her own flesh and bone, as the Maiden of Might's eyes began to widen after firing her heat vision which done no form of damage.

"She's immune?" Kara questioned, punching Omnigul which did nothing again, she then began dodging Omnigul's arc blasts before looking at her boyfriend who was currently in a nippy situation. "Y/N, ugly here is immune - not even my punches are phrasing her anymore!"

He brought out two long curved daggers before they illuminated with Void Light, wiping out the Knights before a Acolyte with a strange Nightmare Essence popped out of cover, he turned invisible and soon wiped out the Acolyte who was a little tankier than usual.

Omnigul had been stunned momentarily after the Essence Acolyte was killed, the red energy barrier around Omnigul seemed to have weakened.

"There! I think that's weakening the barrier around her, there should be more Nightmare Hive around here".

"Already on it" Supergirl called out, flying around the room before spotting a lone Acolyte taking cover, illuminating with Nightmare Essence.

'Found you' she smirked, zooming like a speeding bullet right over, in one's eyes, she'd be nothing but a blur, and used her freeze breath on the Acolyte before shattering the Nightmare, Omnigul let out a scream, once again, making Y/N cover his ears.

"This is one of the reasons why she had to die before hand" he cursed out, noticing the shielding around Omnigul had weakened, shattering soon after like the same noise that erupted after Omnigul festered from the Nightmare Essence itself. "There, she's vulnerable".

Kara cracked her fists. "About time" she said, Omnigul recovered and began firing bolts of arc energy toward Supergirl who dodged and weaved, using her momentum to dodge them just like she once did to Darkseid's Omega Beams back on the Kent Farm.

Kara soon zoomed past Omnigul with a punch across the Will of Crota's jaw once again, before performing a flurry of blows, using her heat vision mixed in between her punches at a rapid paste before using both her feet to kick the Nightmare across the room.

At this point, Y/N had transmatted his Gjallarhorn in for the first time in months since he invaded Apokolips, prior to Kara's capture then, and aimed it straight at the Nightmare of Omnigul.

"Special delivery" he called out before pulling the trigger, firing two rockets, one with each trigger push.

The two rockets hit her simultaneously, before the Essence erupted out of her violently and a dying screech screamed out of Omnigul, silencing her... One more time.

Y/N huffed and puffed a little, his hearing coming back to him again after the screech from earlier, he was at least close to Omnigul prior to it all, he wondered how Kara wasn't phased at all by Omnigul's scream.

"Well... That does it... For now" he assumed the Nightmare of Omnigul would be back again, judging from the term 'Nightmare' as a whole. He stood up, triumphant with his Gjallarhorn as Supergirl soon joined him by descending toward him from the air. "So... How come you weren't phased by her scream, but I was?".

"Didn't really effect me" she shrugged. "If you want to know what does? Ask Dinah whenever we get back, her scream is something else" she told him with a little smirk. "Bet you could make me scream, if you know what I mean" she teased him, making him flush red.

"Let's just... Get out of here, before we..." he turned around to look at where the Nightmare was once, seeing something glowing yellow. "Hang on a moment" his face turned back to his normal skin color before investigating. "Tell Eris if you don't mind".

Supergirl nodded her head after composing herself prior to her flirt in mind. She tapped onto her earpiece to contact Eris of the situation. "Eris, the Nightmare of Omnigul is deceased... I think for now" she contacted Eris and soon after, the mortal Guardian responded.

"Did you retrieve any further Essence?" Eris asked the Guardian's romantic partner. Supergirl looked toward where Y/N was currently and he seemed to have picked up a yellow Essence... A new form of Nightmare Essence from what it looked like.

"Y/N found something -"

"And it's an Essence unique to this Nightmare" Glace finished Kara's sentence off, before initially apologizing to her, Kara gave her a little smile as her response, she hadn't heard much from Glace since the finding of the Pyramid.

"I see" Eris responded soon after, her suspicions were correct, further Nightmare Essence was surely what she had hoped for. "Then we will uncover its secrets together" she vowed afterwards.

"Hang on, I'm getting an emergency Vanguard signal that's coming from outside the Scarlet Keep" Glace spoke out to the group. "Something's happening within the Keep itself, Hive forces are shifting, it seems they have a commander in there, plotting" Glace analyzed the report, coming from Roze, the Hunter Vanguard herself. "Guardians are waiting outside until the light is green to enter" she soon disappeared after speaking, back into Y/N backpack in a way.

"This is our chance to see what the Hive are hiding within the Scarlet Keep, something that could help us with the fight against the Nightmares and the Pyramid" Eris spoke up to the group. "Join the Vanguard in an assault on the Keep itself, let me know what you find within" Eris then signed out the comms, Y/N and Kara looked at each other before he nodded.

"Well... Seems about time we're entering the Keep. What'd you find on the other path?" he asked her as he approached her.

"Just more Hive, but they've been busy, I'll tell you that" Supergirl informed with a worried tone. "It's strange that they've built something like this above the Pyramid, makes me think they're getting ready to assault your Earth" she crossed her arms, issuing her worry for what the Hive could be planning.

"It won't come to that, and whatever their real intentions were of building the Keep above the Pyramid, I guess we might find out in the Keep itself, and whatever Hive is responsible for building the Keep in the first place" he told her, his eyes locked onto Kara's, now without his Gjallarhorn in sight. "Let's get to the Keep and join up with the Guardians, he jumped onto Kara and as usual, she'd catch him.

Supergirl's arms caught Y/N, carrying him like a bride, she loved the feeling of him in her arms, she liked to assume he felt safe and warm in her arms like this, since she's the caped hero and he's like the damsel in distress.

"Assuming you know the way out?" he asked her, to which she smiled.

"Of course! Photographic memory" she levitated before flying forward, making her way out of the Hive territory with her boyfriend in tow.

[The Moon | The Scarlet Keep]

A full frontal assault of Guardians had began to storm the Keep, consisting of three full fireteams of three and only one of two... Of one Guardian and one Kryptonian, a third they have yet to find.

But it mattered not right now, Y/N's and Supergirl's objective was to find what secrets the Hive are hiding within the Scarlet Keep itself. An objective that Eris Morn surely hoped would bring something from it, or at least information they need.

Y/N had previously slain some Hive on the way in, many Guardians pushed onwards soon after throughout the Scarlet Keep itself as Supergirl soon joined back up with him after assisting a fireteam.

"Potent energies are radiating from the Scarlet Keep and its grand tower. Power as I've never felt" Eris suddenly spoke through the communications between Y/N and Supergirl themselves, knowing they're actual objective is to find what the Hive are hiding specifically that could help them fight the Pyramid's influence. "Foul rituals are doubtlessly underway inside... And if we're fortunate, the Hive magic we need to create more armor to fight back the Pyramid's warding".

"What I don't understand is that the Hive normally build and prefer their strongholds underground. Yet, they've built a tower... Why is that the case?" Y/N asked a good question, one that had bugged him since landing on his Earth's Moon for the first time in a while.

"I'm wondering that myself too" Supergirl added her comment, helping Y/N over a collapsed pathway within the Keep, leading up to the bridge area around the corner where Guardians were currently at work.

"It was thought to be ceremonial in nature. The Vanguard monitored its construction, yet had 'more pressing matters'..." Eris answered, sounding a little disappointed of the Vanguard. "Fools".

"We weren't sure at the time, but I can understand how annoyed you must be for us to assume that it was a ceremonial thing" Roze suddenly connected, speaking with a little sharp tone. "Maybe I should've convinced Zavala before hand to investigate it fully.

"Roze??" Glace asked through the comms, not expecting to hear the Hunter Vanguard's voice speak through the private channel.

"Roze?! What a surprise for you to join us" Supergirl happily said to Roze, she had began to see a good friend in the Hunter Vanguard, one that often spoke highly of Y/N and his misadventures with other known Guardians in the past, most of them being with Cayde-6 whenever he snuck out the Tower.

"Likewise, it's nice to hear you love birds again. You too Eris" Roze replied with a hint of a smile on the other side. "But I won't be here for long, I'm getting reports on strange energy within the tower in that Keep, assuming Eris had wanted you to investigate it during this assault?".

"I believe it amplifies Hive magic, magic that we need for our goal" Eris commented.

"To use against the Pyramid? Yeah, the word spread about a Pyramid being unearthed. What're you planning Eris?" Roze asked curiously.

"To gain immunity from the Pyramid's influences and bypass the Pyramid's warding" Eris answered, Roze soon hummed afterwards, humming with familiarity.

"An Eris Morn plan huh? Still the same as ever" Roze complimented, much to Eris not caring much about it right now.

The couple continued on forward, pressing on and eventually joining up with the Guardians who were still at work to lower the bridge that had been lifted up, as a big Hive Wizard had spawned in within the air, in front of the uplifted bridge.

However... This Wizard was a unique looking Wizard, bearing the mark of The Swarm, Crota's brood, with a green glow for the top of her head and forehead as she examined down below, seeing the Guardian beside Supergirl.

She recognizes him... The same Guardian who put down her lineage, one after the other...

Crota...

Oryx...

Omnigul.

One by one... He had slaughtered them, her anger seethed when noticing the Guardian, and she had a plan...

"Well, well, well... What do we have here?" Roze seemed to scratch her chin, eyeing the target she's been looking to identify, watching through Glace's feed herself. Eying the eldest Daughter of Crota that had survived since her father's death at the hands of Guardians... And Y/N included. "And I am sensing Hive magic radiating off of her, now the question is...".

"Wait... Is that... Hashladûn? We thought she was dead?!" Y/N asked in a flabbergasted tone, staring up in the distance before the Hashladûn began to make a break for it, unknowing what her plans are.

"You assume correct" Eris responded to the Guardian. "Hashladûn was presumed dead after Crota's fall, but only she could be responsible for the Keep's emanations, it is no wonder why the Hive's designs are dark".

Supergirl noticed Hashladûn retreating, before teleporting herself out of view. "She just teleported out, I think I know where" the voice of Hashladûn played throughout Kara's ears before she began to levitate.

"You know where she went?" Y/N asked Kara who levitated toward him with her cape rustling behind her softly.

"Yep, I can't see her but I can hear her" she smirked before picking Y/N up from under his arms in a different style this time around. "Always wanted to try this, best time to try now" she smiled with a subtle nod.

"I'm going to call back the Guardians from leading an assault onto Hashladûn, knowing you two probably have it covered, but backups there if you need it!" Roze offered, she had full confidence on both Y/N and Supergirl on eliminating Hashladûn, while the others continue assaulting the Keep. "Take her out, the Vanguard has requested so".

"Show her no mercy, Guardian. She will not show mercy to you, as she has known what you have done" Eris told Y/N before her comms went dark once more.

"So, what did you do?" Supergirl asked, keeping her eyes toward the stars of space as she began to fly up.

"Killed Crota, Oryx and Omnigul, not the Nightmare but the real deal" he answered. "Hashladûn is the daughter of Crota and Omnigul, the eldest of the Spawns they both had" he added onto his comment.

"Huh... So that's where the Godkiller nickname comes from" Supergirl smirked for a brief moment. 

She kept flying on up, up and away, until she had reached to the point where she heard Hashladûn from earlier, Hive reinforcements awaited the two of them before they turned their attention onto Supergirl, holding a Guardian by under the arms with her hands.

"I think they see us" Y/N pointed out.

"Oh they do" Supergirl replied with a smug look before seeing their target scurrying off again into what was the lift up the tower. "She's retreating, I think she's... Trying to lure us" Kara issued as she dodged in coming fire, with Y/N firing his gun back at them while being carried.

"What makes you say that? I think she's running scared" Y/N said with optimism.

"No, Kara's right. Hashladûn is luring us, she wouldn't have came up here and scurried off before seeing us" Glace sided with Kara, despite not speaking through the comms so she could hear.

"If that's the case? We'll spring the trap and fight back, all the same" Y/N replied, as Kara put him back onto the ground as he casted Blazing Blades, swinging the flaming blades of Solar Light at Acolytes and Knights.

A Shrieker soon spawned in, a smaller one, which Supergirl took care of with her heat vision this time around, still trying to get the chitin dust out of her own hair.

She flew on down and super sped through some Thrall before flying over to the elevator, taking care of the rest of the Hive that were waiting for Y/N and herself to enter.

"No sword for you" she flicked the Knight with her index finger, sending the Knight into a wall with a crunch the next, before firing her heat vision to finish the Knight off with a final blow, before grabbing the claw of a Thrall and throwing it out the room, right over her boyfriend's head.

"Hey! Almost took my head off with that" Y/N belittled her playfully, resulting in her giggling a little.

"Sorry, that creature was rude to try touch me" she said with a smug look before she zoomed over to him. "C'mon! We're going up!" she picked him up by placing her arm over his back, holding onto him securely. "She's got nowhere left to run... Although she lured us".

"I should call you Ms Obvious from now on..." he deadpanned as she gave him a frowning glare before it disappeared with a little giggle, now approaching the top with rapid speed, Supergirl flew up and up once more, eventually reaching their destination.

Hashladûn hid behind a closed gate, before the gate itself began to open, thanks to Supergirl wiping out the two Wizards defending.

"Brace yourself! Here she comes" Y/N called out as Hashladûn floated on out to the middle, her immune shield still up as Hive reinforcements entered the fray. "And she's playing god, that's just bullshit" he cursed out, rolling into cover and firing back at the Acolytes and Knights that spawned on his side.

Supergirl on the other hand dodged and weaved, knowing the Hive's weaponry has hurt her before, she couldn't risk getting shot all the time, it was like getting hit by a Kryptonite gauntlet, but without the Kryptonite involved to weaken her.

She used her freeze breath to chill off the Acolytes that fired on her, before coming to blows with two Hive Knights and punching them all but with one punch, not holding back.

Gunshots ringed out, Y/N got out of cover and made a risky move to move along the field of the tower, with Hashladûn focusing her attention on him and him only.

He killed her father... Her grandfather and her mother... She would have her revenge, and honor them within the Sword Logic they called it.

Just then... Two Nightmare Ogres spawned in, making the ominous sound of it spawning in simultaneously, which both parties picked up the immediate threat.

"Nightmares?" Y/N called out, before noticing something rather strange with them, it seemed the Nightmares were fueling Hashladûn's immune shielding, keeping her invulnerable for the time being. "Supergirl! Those Nightmares! They're her shields".

"I see!" she levitated into the air before firing out more freeze breath, shattering the Hive she froze upon slamming the ground beneath her. "You know that move? You charge me up, I bring the heat?!?" she called out to him while he jumped over his Nightmare Ogre that rushed him,

"Yeah, sure! Show these Hive what we're made of" he agreed, a fireteam isn't just a team when they work together...

They're weapons and the blades...

Supergirl took care of her Nightmare Ogre before the immune shielding on Hashladûn began to dissipate, rendering her vulnerable.

The pair regrouped and Y/N charged his knife with Solar Light and slammed the ground around his girlfriend, who began to charge up with Solar energy and Light combined, making her but a radiant star in one's eyes while levitating up into the sky.

Her eyes lit up a bright red, she looked at Hashladûn dead center where she began fire bolts of arc energy at the girl, only to no prevail before her heat vision shot out in a massive two layered beam of hot, scorching lasers, her hair and cape blew backwards as she made work of the current Hive around the tower.

Hashladûn began to erupt in flames, before her very body began to start crumbling, still engulfed in flames, she screeched in pain before finally succumbing to it, the rest of her beginning to disintegrate after Kara continued her heat vison till she fell from the air.

"Argh" she groaned, collapsing onto her knees as Y/N rushed over to check on her. "I'm okay..." She told him. "Thought I got the hang of it there" she gave him a weak smile, making him smile in relief.

"Maybe we should work on that then" he suggested before offering his hand to his lady, she took his hand and pulled herself up, and to add more icing to it, Kara leaned in and gave him a quick peck on the lips. 

The two nodded and silently smiled before Glace popped out and examined Hashladûn's. "Hmm...".

"What's wrong, Glace?" Y/N initially looked at his Ghost for a moment, as she looked down at something.

"She dropped this tablet, I'm placing this into our inventory for safe keeping, Eris might know what this is" Glace scanned the tablet and it soon disintegrated into thin air with a light shimmer, now within Y/N's inventory.

"Should tell Eris the good news" Kara suggested.

Y/N nodded in agreement before Glace turned on his comms to speak in. "Eris. It's over, Hashladûn is dead" he said with a little relief before Eris responded a moment later.

"This is a relief to hear" Eris said with a form of relief in her tone. "But Hashladûn's presence is no coincidence" she added on, enabling to the confusion between the couple up at the Keep's tower.

"What do you mean?" Supergirl asked into her ear piece next, wondering what Eris meant by... 'no coincidence'.

"The Hive must have grander ambitions for the Pyramid's influences, is my hypothesis. Hashladûn may have helped built this Keep, but the Pyramid looms, it responds to the Hive like a frenzied blade".

"Oh, Eris. We picked up a tablet from Hashladûn's remains, It describes something about a..." he looked to Glace for confirmation, who looked back at him.

"A Cryptoglyph, but I've got no records on a 'Cryptoglyph' anywhere" Glace answered for Y/N, letting out a little chirp after she spoke.

"Excellent" Eris said with a conniving tone once more, this was just the information she sought. "That is precisely the information we've been looking for. Return to me... We have much to discuss"...
