The eyes of Y/N begin to twitch open, waking up from his dreaming state, under the covers of his bed, his soft and comfortable bed. His eyes gazed upon a beautiful sight once he opened them slightly, with the morning sun shining through the curtains, but the other weight on his bed covered the sun from shining in his eyes.

There, he gazed upon two blue baby blues that looked like the ocean, a little smile appearing on his face as he laid eyes upon his girlfriend, Kara Zor-El, who seemed to have waited for him to wake up.

A strand of her hair, tickled his nose, her hair shined like diamonds in the sun, and under the bright Moon in the sky at night, it shined like her cape, she was like a highlight when she wore her suit, a highlight of hope, but sunshine and rainbows.

"Good morning, handsome" she cooed softly, in a whispering tone of voice, she shuffled into his grasp, wanting to hold him after witnessing him waking up.

She was no mere Guardian... She was an Alien from another reality altogether, a Kryptonian, the Last Daughter of Krypton and the House of El, now she's stuck on her boyfriend's Earth like he was stuck on hers, before hand...

Did she miss her home? Her cousin? Some of her friends?

Yes...

But that didn't stop her from enjoying things here...

Especially with having the one person she cares so much for, the Guardian that stole her heart since she became... Supergirl...

"Good morning, sunshine" he replied back softly, in match with her tone as Kara placed her head on his naked chest, her hair a little bit of a mess but she didn't care, not now at least...

"Cuddles" the Maiden of Might exclaimed softly, loving her morning cuddles every morning at this point since they took their relationship to the next level, establishing romance between one another

 "Were you waiting for me to wake up so we could cuddle?" Y/N asked, to Kara? She looked up at him and she smiled, her face warming up as soon as her eyes landed on his.

"I did" she winked. "Didn't want to wake you" she gently poked his nose with her finger, giggling quietly afterwards, his smile grew after the gentle nose poke as they cuddled.

 "Kara, you can always cuddle me when I'm sleeping" he laughed softly. "Don't matter if I wake up or not".

"But when you peacefully sleep, it's so cute" she puckered her lips. "You look so... Kissable when you sleep, that I just wanna drown you in kisses when you do" she admitted out loud, no regret in her tone whatsoever.

"You want to what? Drown me in kisses? How does that work?".

"Oh Rao" Supergirl rolled her eyes, looking at him. "For someone who is considered a 'god-killer', you are so naïve at this, it's adorkable" she giggled. "This is why I love you" she planted her lips on his, quickly leaving a kiss on his lips.

"But... You didn't answer my question..." Y/N claimed, he was right but Kara only giggled at his innocent question.

"It means I'd kiss you all over..." she left her words for dramatic effect, making him blush slightly. "All over your face" she smirked.

"Oh... That makes sense" he nodded.

"What else were you thinking?" she cocked an eyebrow up, before trailing a finger up his chest. Proceeding to tease him. "Were you thinking of something else that I meant?" she got up close to his face, her lips almost touching his.

"Uhh... I uh... Well..."

"Hahaha, I'm kidding you dork!" she shut him down, before kissing him yet again, this time it lasted longer, their lips slowly smacking off each other before the girl pulled back, shallow breathes escaped the Guardian after.

"Now I know how it feels to be on the other end" Y/N admitted to her, knowing how many times he's teased her in ways that made her feel... Embarrassed in a way.

"I guess you do" her face brightened up, kissing his cheek next before lying back down on his chest. "Somedays I just... Wanna stay here all day" she let her words drift in the air for a moment as Y/N looked at her.

"All day? In bed??" he asked, Kara smiled at him catching on.

"Mhm" she softly hummed. "With you, me... In bed... Cuddling and kissing, I never imagined how far I'd get from first landing on Earth... Until now".

Y/N thought for a mere moment, letting Kara's words get to him. "You ever imagined what would happen if I weren't there? In your life??".

"Every day" she answered. "I always think that... But you are in my life... And I think that's all that matters, whether I'm wearing my cape or not" she shrugged.

"You practically wear your cape every day almost" he pointed out before Kara looked at him with a dead look on her face.

"You know what I mean" she deadpanned before her expression softened. "What if I was to get a human identity for myself?".

"If you want one at least, your cousin did suggest something last time, did he not?".

"He did..." Kara looked away for a moment. "But... It was brief, wasn't all talk about it" the girl's eyes drifted to her sky blue and red suit, hanging up on the mannequin she burrowed from one of the Last City's storage deposits, she had to ask first before burrowing it, since she didn't exactly want to steal property.

Y/N's eyes drifted toward the center of her top, tracing out the S glyph on her suit with his eyes before he looked down at Kara, who still stared at her suit. "Are you wanting to get a secret identity for yourself?" he asked her, bringing her attention back to him.

"I am thinking... But not right now" Kara answered softly with a little smile. "However, that does mean you might need to get one too" she suggested to him as he looked confused at this info.

"Why?"

"Well... Think about it" she told him. "On my Earth, the public knows that you and I - Supergirl and Zain the Guardian, are a couple, or in another words, a 'power-couple'..." she explained in detail. "So that means... If I were to get a secret identity, you would have to get one too if we were to hang out in public without our suits" she finished, searching his face, awaiting for him to answer before he realized.

"Oh... I get it" he nodded with a little smile. "But how is it gonna work?".

"It will... Kal can probably help, or someone he knows could help" her smile still donned her face. "But let's not worry about that right now..." she sat up slightly to kiss him again before lying back down on his chest. "I wanna hold you and not let go right now" she cooed.

"I was thinking of making breakfast..." he told her, her ears perked up but she didn't move. "Plus, we need to get -"

"Five more minutes" she pleaded, looking up at him with pleading eyes.

"But I'm wanna make breakfast for us" Y/N slightly pouted, looking down at Kara's eyes of plead.

"Please... Five more minutes" she pleaded yet again. "You're so warm" says the Girl of Steel, who could warm her body up with her intake of solar energy from the yellow sun itself.

Y/N thought about it for a mere moment before succumbing to Kara's pleads, knowing very well she would do anything to win the battle if he refused. "Okay, I guess we can stay for five more minutes" he nodded, hearing the girl let out an audible joyed noise. "But no more than five".

"I love you!" she said with joy, kissing him on the lips, the kiss continued long and tender before she pulled back after a minute, her stomach flowed with butterflies still.

"I love you too, Angel" Y/N cooed back, the Maiden of Might smiled bright and laid back onto his chest yet again, her hand on his chest as she felt his soft skin.

Y/N placed his arm over her as he looked at her, using his other hand to play with her hair, a feeling she loved, but also loved doing to him too when given the opportunity when he was being the spoon.

Y/N's Ghost, Glace now appeared in sight, floating just where Y/N could see her who looked down at her Guardian's lover before looking back at her Guardian.

Both of them nodded, before Y/N kept his attention on Kara...

One thing he admitted about Kara, was that she is sure persistent, and he loved that about her...

[An hour later | Earth's Moon, Luna]

"Attention, all Guardians: Last night, we detected a seismic disturbance on the Moon" Zavala's voice boomed through the comms, bringing the Guardian's up to speed on the situation as a battle on the Lunar grounds ensued between Humanity and the Hive, that appeared with a red color scheme, of the Hidden Swarm, Crota's Brood. "Within hours, it was swarming with Hive. This plague must not be allowed to spread".

Y/N's ship flew on overhead, before reaching a landing site and he transmatted onto the Lunar grounds, many other ships of Guardians flew on overhead as they transmatted in, before Y/N felt a familiar presence land beside him, making a small crator upon landing.

"Never thought you'd be able to breath on the Moon without the device I gave you" Supergirl pointed out with a hand on her hip, her cape resting behind her. "It's a whole warzone here" she paid her attention to the battle ahead.

"Let's go then!" Y/N insisted, rushing on down from the landing zone to join his fellow Guardians, with Supergirl flying on overhead. "Commander, we've landed and we're en-route to fend off the Hive, didn't think we'd be back here again".

"The Keep is where the Hive pour onto the surface of our Moon, that is where the disturbance originated" Zavala gave brief info on the Hive's presence on the Moon once again. "We will investigate, but first we must regain a lunar foothold. I'm sure to you, it's all too familiar. But do not let the atrocities of Crota haunt you. Whatever this is, we will not let the tragedies of our past repeat themselves" Zavala gave a eulogy, as he usually did.

"Does he always do that? Give eulogies?" Supergirl asked while flying above her boyfriend.

"That's the Commander for you" Y/N chuckled. "C'mon! Let's send these Hive packing" he ensued.

"Lead the way, handsome" she teased, making Y/N chuckle as he rushed into the battle.

"Don't get ahead of yourself" he teased her back, jumping up near one of the old lunar buildings that were abandoned since the Collapse, overrun with Hive while Supergirl took on another part of the battleground. "Hello there" he mockingly said to the Acolytes that brought their attention to him.

Y/N quickly drew his gun and hammer fired three Hive Acolyte's taking refuge to pin the City Combat Frames and the Redjacks.

Another Hive Acolyte rounded the corner of the balcony, instantly firing upon Y/N, soon after. He dodged forward and during that, he pulled his knife out, twirling it around before impaling the blade into the head of the Acolyte, killing it instantly before it evaporated into Chitin dust.

He looked overhead, seeing Guardians working together to fend off the Hive as his attention drew to Supergirl fending off some Hive on her own with her heat vision while levitating, he looked in awe at the sight of her.

"That's my girl" he smiled, unbeknownst to the Hive Knight sneaking up on him from behind.

"Behind you!!" Glace called out, Y/N's senses came back to him before a Nova Bomb replaced the Knight instead, destroying the Hive Knight in Void energy as a Warlock landed before him.

"Careful next time" Zeal remarked with a smart tone.

"Zeal! Good to see you, buddy" Y/N acknowledged the Warlock for saving him before he could get the chance to blast the Knight in the face. "Didn't expect to see you here" Y/N took a shot at some approaching Hive, picking off one by one with Aya's sniper.

"Well, when I heard something happening on the Moon, I had to drop by, it's so close to home after all" Zeal responded, picking off Hive with his custom made scout rifle. "I see your partner is here too".

"Yeah, Supergirl's part of my fireteam, only two of us the now" Y/N answered. "Where's your fireteam?" he asked before a solar explosion illuminated to their left.

"Down there, making work on the Hive" Zeal got up from crouching beside Y/N. "I should rejoin them, go cover the right hand side, we've got this side covered with the other Guardians, could use a Hunter or two on the right side".

Y/N stood up and began making his way over to the side Kara went to assist, jumping over some Thrall before running into a Cursed Thrall, ready to explode if he stood too close to it.

"Oh shit" he kick flipped the Cursed Thrall with quick precision before aiming his hand cannon and fired one shot, killing the Cursed Thrall and exploding in midair. "Close one".

"It really was" Glace agreed. 

Supergirl landed onto the ground, fighting off some Thrall that began to surround a Redjack, being careful not to use her heat vision in case she accidentally cut the Redjack in half, knowing it's all circuits and wires as well.

Every punch she landed, it sent the Thrall flying and evaporating in Chitin powder, she wasn't holding back for one, not at all... Knowing exactly what the Hive are capable of in the first place.

First they invade her Earth...

Now after all the things she's heard the Hive done, through Y/N's words? These were unforgivable creatures, and if anyone would pull her up to eradicating the Hive? They'd have to shove it up where the sun don't shine.

"There's no end to these things, is there?" Kara asked herself, before gaining a response via comms after she punched a Hive Ogre that was sent flying out of the Moon by her hand.

"Tell me about it, the Hive have been here for a long time now" Roze gave her answer. "Longer than I have been a Guardian".

"Are they all coming from that structure ahead? The Keep, right?" Supergirl bothered to ask, she wondered if there was any other source of where the Hive were originating from, not just from the Keep.

"It's where the disturbance was first detected, we had been monitoring the Hive's work on the Moon, starting with that Scarlet Keep, and then... Weeks later? A seismic disturbance occurred which happened just earlier".

"No wonder we had to call off our breakfast, Y/N was making it for us" Supergirl side noted for a moment, before a gunshot from Ace of Spades ringed out, seeing her boyfriend now on her side of the field making work of the Hive.

"On a side-note? That sounds cute, Y/N never used to be the type to do something like that" Roze appointed.

"You're saying I may have changed him?".

"Not exactly, I'll explain later" Roze shut down. "Right now, secure the LZ from the Hive, we'll be monitoring your progress".

Supergirl flew on over to her boyfriend, hoping to assist him but saw he had clearly had it under control, with some Guardians helping him out. "Yin! Heads up!!" he tossed a grenade to the Hunter named Yin, an Awoken, who kicked it toward a group of sniper Acolytes on the ridge, the grenade exploded a few seconds after making contact.

The Girl of Steel seemed amused by Y/N's antics, he worked great with Guardians surprisingly, despite him once saying he wasn't great working with people after his fireteam fell during the Red War.

"Nice!" Y/N gave Yin a high-five before she rejoined her Fireteam, his attention now drawn to Kara floating on down. "You see that? That's one of the best Hunters we have, she's remarkable and a markswoman".

"I saw..." she chuckled. "You seem to be having fun, despite this situation being serious" she placed her hands on her hips, striking her traditional pose.

"You can have a little bit of fun, c'mon" he shrugged before he noticed the Hive beginning to retreat. "They're retreating, Glace mentioned a Hive structure ahead, let's get moving with the Guardians" he suggested and Supergirl nodded.

"I've noticed something off about these Hive... They all have a leader, but these ones, they seem to be scattered, erratic even" Supergirl pointed out, beginning to fly beside him.

"Since Crota's death, they lack leadership" Y/N answered. "His death left a void they have yet to fill. But... From what Glace thinks? The disturbance seems to have emboldened them, but like the Commander said? This plague must not be allowed to spread, so we must stop them".

"Agreed" Supergirl nodded, flying overhead as the Guardians ran down below, some already ahead and working on capturing Hive rune plates overhead of the fortress like wall the Hive built here on the Moon, that leads all the way to the Keep.

Supergirl stopped herself from flying and stayed in the air, overlooking the battleground before her, the place swarming with Crota's old Brood.

Her eyes caught onto a massive Hive Shrieker overhead, now closed up with a big Hive portal behind it, where the Hive were spilling out from. "There's a portal up ahead" Supergirl pointed as Y/N took notice when he finally got a good line of sight on the battleground ahead of him.

"Capturing the totem plates seem to be doing the trick to shutting it down" Y/N appointed.

"Well... Let's get to it then!" Supergirl said with enthusiasm.

"Take us to the top left plate, the Guardians seem to be half-way done with the ones from the bottom" Y/N suggested. Supergirl flew on down to grab Y/N and fly him up with her. "Once that Shrieker opens wide? You know what to do".

"Gotcha" she smirked with a smug look, flying on over to the top left plate before Y/N gave her the nod to drop him and she did.

Within midair, the Guardian activated his Arc Staff and slammed the ground with a thunderous intent, completely decimating the Hive Wizards and Thrall that surrounded the totem nearby.

Supergirl landed not far from him and her heat vison erupted from her eyes, incinerating Hive Acolyte snipers from a distance, save for Y/N to snipe them out.

"Nice" Y/N stood on the plate, giving the Girl of Steel a wink at her direction after seeing her precision. "You've gotten better at using your heat vision".

"Thanks Handsome! Shows you're not the only precise shot here" she smirked, floating over to him to be the eyes in the sky for him and the Guardians.

"We'll settle who's the best later, if you like?" he smirked before ducking under a shot, snapping round to shoot an Acolyte that tried to snipe him from a distance.

"Sure, you're on" she said with a smug look, before a flash of light emanated from the other side of the battleground, where Guardians had captured the last totem.

"Seems the Shrieker is gonna open wide" Glace pointed out, even letting Kara know through the comms so she could hear her also.

Supergirl prepared herself, ready to fly on through the Shrieker like a homing missile as Y/N's totem finally deactivated upon him capturing it, and the Shrieker screeched out as it opened wide.

Within mere moments... Supergirl boosted forward with so much force and speed, she became a blur in everyone's eyes to see, flying on through the Shrieker, taking it's eye out and destroying it completely.

To the lot of Guardians? How could one person take out a Shrieker that quick but it takes so much firepower to take down one big Shrieker that size? 

There was more to Supergirl than meets the eye... But not to Y/N.

Upon the Shrieker's death, the portal shut down, not allowing any more Hive to teleport on in through it and the Guardians celebrated in their own right.

"Commander, the portal is down" Y/N issued.

"Good work, Guardians" Zavala's voice spoke through to everyone's comms. "Thanks to you, we'll have an LZ up and running soon" he applauded their efforts, as the Commander he was. "In the meantime, press on towards the Keep" he ordered.

"Roger, Commander" Y/N regrouped at the middle with all the Guardians that were present with Supergirl floating above, wiping off any Chitin dust on her sleeves and suit, making sure it was all off of her exposed stomach and back too. "You heard the Commander, let's move!" the Guardians began to press on towards the Keep, with Y/N walking down the ramp and Kara floating on beside him.

"Maybe that wasn't a great idea" Kara landed beside her boyfriend, still swiping off the Chitin dust off of herself.

"But it was badass, there's that" he complimented her action, making her chuckle about it.

"Yeah, I suppose so" she smiled.

"Guardian... Kara. There's no time to lose" Ikora suddenly spoke on the comms in a secure channel between herself and the three others after a minute went by.

"Ikora?" Glace asked with concern, wondering why Ikora suddenly decided to pop on in, she sounded very serious about something.

"This 'disturbance' - I know what triggered it. Who triggered it" Ikora informed the three only. "Eris Morn" she revealed, shocking both Y/N and Glace.

"Wait, Eris Morn?? We haven't heard knout from her in ages before the Red War" Y/N pointed out.

"Eris is back on the Moon?" Glace asked Ikora.

"Eris, as in the one who you mentioned looks like a Hive in a way?" Supergirl asked her boyfriend, he nodded in her direction to respond to her question.

"Last I heard from her, she was headed into the Keep. I don't even know if she's still-"

"We'll find her. Alive" Glace promised...

[Ten minutes later | Outside the Scarlet Keep | Sorrow's Harbor]

The battle was tense but eventually? The Guardians pushed back the Hive... For now anyway, the Hive had summoned yet another massive Shrieker, only for Supergirl to fly on through it again, making her regret it even more with more Chitin dust to swipe off later, now more of it in her hair.

Amanda Holliday decided to drop off some Drake tanks for the Guardians to use, and Y/N was one of the people to drive one around and cause some major damage, he imagined what if Bruce had gotten his hands on this type of hardware, he'd probably make a new Batmobile out of the schematic of the Drake tank, only with Bruce's Wayne Tech and his own touch to it.

"The path is clear" Y/N exited the Drake tank, joining up with Supergirl near the entrance of the Scarlet Keep, the remaining Guardians were ordered to stay back for now. "We're heading into the Scarlet Keep now" Y/N issued through the comms.

"Even at the entrance, I'm still getting creeped out by the structure" Supergirl issued, floating up onto the platform, Y/N jumped up after her.

"Well... That's the Hive for you" he responded. "Ikora, anything else about Eris Morn before she plunged into this place?" Y/N asked curiously, wanting to know why Eris had proceeded to go in by herself from what it sounded like.

"Eris came to me. She'd found evidence of something very old on the Moon" Ikora answered. "A potential threat to Humanity. Eris insisted on going alone. Just a scouting mission, she said. And I... Let her" Ikora sounded regretful of her decision, she knew it was a bad idea to begin with.

"Eris is resilient, you, Glace and I both know that" Y/N responded.

"She has proven that again and again. Often to her own detriment" Ikora added.

"If anyone can take care of themselves while being mortal, it's Eris Morn" Y/N pointed out.

"Agreed" Ikora acknowledged.

The pair ended up looking at two open doorways, one of the left and one on the right, unsure of where to search first.

"Two open doorways... One creepy Keep... Where to search first?" Supergirl pondered out loud. "Plus I can't see past the walls, some sort of magic the Hive have used, bummers they are" she cursed out loud.

"There's no signal on Eris either" Ikora informed. "She could be anywhere in the Keep".

"Well, Supergirl, you take the right pathway, I take the left" Y/N suggested, with Kara looking at him with uncertainty on her face.

"Are you sure? Shouldn't we search together? We're a team, remember?" she asked him, questioning on the case itself.

"It's better if we split up, we'll find Eris easily that way, you can call for Guardians if you need assistance" he made sure Kara knew there was backup if she needed it, it was unknown territory after all.

The Maiden of Might nodded however before giving him grabbing the sides of his face and pulling him into her lips, a soft moan escaped the girl as their kiss lasted for a minute.

Her soft and tender lips, paired perfectly with his, Y/N melted into the kiss before the pair separated finally, their foreheads touched next.

"Good luck" she issued with a little smile.

"You too" he smiled back, before the pair went their separate ways.

Y/N entered the doorway, leading him down toward two pathways that led him to one singular path, he took the left regardless but he didn't know that, nor did Glace.

"Is it just me, or do this feel... A little strange?" Glace asked her Guardian, appearing beside him to act as his flashlight in a minute.

"What do you mean?" he kept walking down the path.

"I feel a little... Off is what I -" before she could finish her words... The comms began to scramble up. "Huh? We're losing a signal on the comms. Ikora? Kara??" she tried something but got static instead. "We've lost their signals".

"Should we turn back?" Y/N asked, starting to sound a little worried.

"Nope, let's keep going, we need to -" her words stopped again upon seeing a crawling Thrall suddenly move past them into the darkened area before them, leading to a cave. "Did you see that?".

"That Thrall? Yeah" he nodded before his eyes laid upon the atmospheric energy swirling around where the Thrall crawled past. "And this... Energy?".

"I... That's strange" Glace thought out loud, they continued to move forward, his gun in front of him as he was ready for whatever the Hive were going to throw at him.

He still couldn't wrap his head around the Thrall that crawled past him and Glace near some green glowing Hive crystal residue, then it just... Vanished right in front of them.

"Something's not right..." Y/N pointed out. "I-I don't like this" he continued onward, before they saw something red and dark just before making a right around the corner to go deeper into the cave.

A red... Ghostly figure, floating there, almost Human-like, it seemed to twitch and once it sighted the Guardian?

It vanished with a quiet and eerie scream, it sounded like a female's voice screaming for help.

"What was that?" Glace said with a spooked out tone.

"I'm not even sure what the hell that was..." Y/N sounded completely spooked, he may have watched some horror movies back on Kara's Earth and not once did any movies scare him than it scared Kara, but this?

This was something else... This didn't feel like Hive at all...

His Light felt... Suppressed almost, he felt... Off too.

"I'm starting to feel off as well... What is this feeling?" Y/N asked loudly, jumping down deeper into the cave, despite him feeling a little sick. "You feel that too?".

"I do" Glace answered, sounding a little weak.

He ventured a little into the new area before all of a sudden... Thrall began to appear out of thin air.

"Woah!" Y/N exclaimed in shock, a gasp of air leaving him as these Thrall slowly walked toward him with a strange presence to them, a form of red energy emanated from them as he began to shoot one after the other.

More appeared behind him, completely surrounding him, he wasn't able to summon his own Arc Staff, Solar Blades, Golden Gun nor his Nightstalker Bow and Spectral Blades, his Light felt suppressed.

"I can't use my Light to it's full potential, something here is preventing me!" he said to his Ghost.

"Forget that! Just blast them!" she insisted him to shoot, no casting.

He did as Glace suggested, blasting right through the Thrall that appeared all around him in thin air...

The fight continued until no more Thrall were seen... Or at least if it were Hive Thrall...

Y/N continued through the dark cave, hand cannon in front of him after the intense fight with the thrall that... Mysteriously appeared out of the blue, he could see the strange looking energy, emanating within the atmosphere.

He began to regret telling Supergirl to split up from him, in search of Eris Morn of course, he couldn't get a response from Kara on the comms at all, nor could he get a response from the Vanguard.

He was alone... With just his Ghost.

"Those Thrall... They... They're emanating a strange energy source, it's like they... Aren't real, they aren't... Hive" Glace spoke lowly, she felt as if something was trying to reach into her still.

"What do you mean by that?" Y/N asked her cautiously, more of those strange Thralls appeared and he got to work to kill them.

"I... I-I don't know" Glace said with a sharp worry. "This is... Strange, and I don't like it".

The Guardian had finished dealing with the odd Thralls, even he was spooked out by this. 

"That... Red ghostly figure we saw...".

"Not sure what that is either, it almost looked like... A Guardian?" the Ghost theorized. "Let's keep going, the source isn't far but no signal on Eris yet".

The doorway ahead seemed to lead to the outside area from the cave itself, Y/N cautiously made his way over to it after spending some amount of time in this maze of a cave, he wondered if Supergirl had found something interesting yet, he would go back right now but he couldn't... He had a job to do.

Turning the corner, the light of Earth shined down upon him, over the cavern, and up ahead of Earth... He and Glace could see the strange looking red ghostly figures, and a lot of them, floating still and looking right down at them.

"More of those... Things" Y/N felt a chill go up his spine, he did not like the look of those figures at all, it was like a stuff of nightmares. "It's giving me the creeps".

"The s-source should be right around here" Glace brought her Guardian's attention back to the path after he jumped down.

The more they continued, the more Glace felt a tinge at her Light, her own shell for that matter... She felt a strange tug the more they traveled to round the corner...

Back when Guardians joked about the Moon being 'haunted', it was all about the Hive... But this time?

It felt real...

Y/N's Light was a little feint, he could feel it too, like a form of heavy weight suddenly began to restrain him a little.

However... As he turned the corner...
He stopped at the sight of a dark secret... Lying dormant... But it was surely activated now...

"My.... God" he gasped, his eyes widening, as Glace found herself speechless...

Their eyes laid upon a pyramid... A PYRAMID...

The atmosphere was filled with Darkness, from that Pyramid within the massive space in front of them... Lying dormant for what seemed centuries.
And it had been under their feet this entire time...

"What... Wh-what is that?" Glace shockingly seemed to choke on her words. "I-I have never seen anything like this" she took a moment, before disappearing into Y/N's backpack.

"This has to be what Eris awoke, and she's after it" Y/N continued on, in the wake of the shadowy Pyramid looking ship, that laid dormant but awake, judging from the Hive actively trying to defend it.

Were those figures flushing out from that Pyramid? Was this the Darkness? Darkness was too thick here to tell.

"Y/N... Something's wrong, I feel... Strange... I can feel... Something pulling and tugging at my Light, like something or someone is trying to reach inside me" Glace told him in a monotone like voice, her voice sounded rough but still there.

"We need to find Eris, then get out, fast".

He continued down a caved hallway, finding more of the strange figures, walking past them, he could hear pleads of screams and cries, and... Words of beckoning? He chose to ignore them, as much as he was creeped out by them.

"Hey, look... Over there, across the way, what is that?" Glace insisted the Guardian to check on the strange red energy that looked like it spurred out roots, seeing something green and glowing within the middle of it.

Y/N jumped down and rushed over to check on it, but something blocked from going forward, a wave of energy pushed him away, not allowing him to move beyond it.

"There's a barrier of energy here, it's... It's the same energy source I detected on those Thrall earlier, but it's... Oppressive, maybe it's from that Pyramid and it's too heavy for us to pass through" Glace appointed, before the force field shoved Y/N back, making him fall onto the ground.

All of a sudden... The strange red energy began to form into a figure of a glowing green familiar face, who stood tall with his sword in hand...

It roared with vengeance, Despair, hungry for revenge, his three eyes looking down at him with an intent on haunting Y/N once again... After all... He died by his own sword, no thanks to him.

Y/N stammered in sight of the glowing green massive Hive Knight, sporting a familiar face and shape. "That's i-impossible...".

"Crota?! But we killed him?!!" Glace gasped in shock, Crota stood overhead her Guardian, ready to plunge his sword into him. "Y/N, move!".

Y/N rolled out the way of Crota's blade plunging into the ground where Y/N once was knocked down, the Guardian got up immediately and began firing on the Hive Knight resembling Crota, Son of Oryx himself.

"I CANNOT DIE" Crota vocalized in perfect English, enough for the Guardian to understand him as he encroached to swing his massive sword at the Guardian who narrowly dodged again, despite feeling weaker and weaker by the Pyramid's influence.

"Of course he fucking remembers" Y/N cursed to himself.

"I AM YOUR DESPAIR" Crota vocalized different words in perfect English, shooting bolts of Arc blasts to make Y/N bolt for cover, as Thrall began to spawn in. "YOU CANNOT HIDE FROM ME, COWARD!".

"He's too powerful" Y/N issued, blasting the incoming nightmarish Thrall as Crota advanced onto Y/N. "Shit!" Crota slammed his sword onto the ground, knocking Y/N five feet across the ground in the shadow of the Pyramid.

"Guardian! Get up!!" Glace worriedly warned Y/N, who seemed to struggle getting up, she seemed to struggle herself as well just from her tone of voice.

"I-I can't... Too... Weak" he struggled to say. "He's..." Crota stood over the Guardian, his sword up in the air.

Before he would feel his impending doom at the hands of a somewhat nightmarish Crota... A blur of mainly blue and red came to his rescue, flying onto Crota and knocking him back with a force powerful enough that shook the area around.

"Y/N!" the Guardian looked relieved to see who came to his rescue in time, Supergirl knelt down and began to help him up, his hand gripped tight onto his hand cannon. "Oh Rao, you look...".

"Terrible? I know... It's that... Pyramid I think" Y/N pointed out the Pyramid as Kara looked at it, a sense of fear and pain burrowed onto her face, remembering that day... That one... Day...

But she shook the feeling out for now, and paid her attention to Y/N. "C'mon, let's get you-"

Crota suddenly roared out an angry battle cry, but he didn't seem to charge at the Girl of Steel and the Guardian, instead? He began to... Heal.

"He's... Regenerating?" Glace audibly left a gasp, as Crota began to approach toward the middle of the area, and raised his sword high before two more familiar faces joined him...

The Fanatic... Of the Scorn

"FOR FAAATHEEEER"

And... Ghaul... Leader of the Red Legion.

"TELL ME GUARDIAN! DOES THE CITY STILL TREMBLE IN FEAR OF MY NAME?"

"Impossible" Y/N weakly gasped out.

"I'm getting you out" Supergirl said with determination, this was a fight they could not win, these... Creatures of the past were too powerful. "I found her... I found Eris..." Supergirl informed him, carrying him bridal style and flew him out of there immediately.

[Earth's Moon | Refuge | Enduring Abyss]

Supergirl landed onto the refuge platform, in midst of the Pyramid being sighted, statues of Thrall taken from Oryx's Dreadnaught laid dormant in the walls behind them.

Kara placed Y/N onto his feet, but he seemed to struggle on keeping his balance. "Careful" Kara warned, putting an arm over him for support as she led him to the table on the right hand side. "You okay? You look like you need a moment".

"I... I do" he nodded weakly, breathing in and out before he let out a small chuckle and sigh. "You saved my ass back there" he gave her a weak smirk, flattered by his girlfriend's coming to his rescue in time, as she does best.

"You can thank me later" she cooed at him, placing her hands on his cheeks to get him to look at her properly, he seemed all over the place. "You're lucky I got to you in time".

Glace soon appeared, she also looked a little weak but felt a little better now that she wasn't as close to the Pyramid as she was before hand. "On his behalf... Thank you".

Kara smiled briefly but it soon disappeared as the situation weighed heavy... Just when they thought nothing bad would happen...

Then the dark secret is revealed...

A dark Pyramid had been discovered, under the Moon this whole time, possibly after the Collapse...

Y/N's focus then laid onto the other figure, looking out at the Pyramid before she herself looked back at the Guardian, her three Hive eyes capturing him. "Guardian" Eris greeted, a cloth hid her three eyes but she could still see perfectly through it, in her left hand? She clutched a green ball of energy, that housed an Ahamkara bone, the same bone that once saved her life from the Hellmouth's pit where Crota and his Brood were that slaughtered her entire fireteam.

"Eris... Isn't it good to see you?" he questioned with relief, but his question was unanswered. He soon noticed a red ghostly figure that dawned the face of Sai Mota, she seemed to be... Haunting Eris in a way. Which led him to ask... "That Pyramid, what is it?".

"I am certain that you've heard the stories. Of the Traveler's sacrifice" she looked toward the Pyramid while her hand felt the cold flames of her green rock. "Of Darkness descending upon Humanity. Before us lies a dark remnant of their existence".

"That... Pyramid is the cause of the Collapse?" Y/N asked as Eris looked back at him.

"And Krypton..." Supergirl said out loud, looking at it painfully.

"Wh-What?" Glace asked.

"What do you mean?" Y/N then questioned Kara who looked at him.

"I-I saw multiple of them... During the final days of Krypton, the skies darkened... Then... Those ships arrived... It sent out these units and gravitational weapons on us, my mother and father led me to my rocket and then..." she stopped herself as she tried holding back tears, she remembered it all.

"You remember?" Y/N asked in shock, Kara hadn't remembered how Krypton really died when she first arrived, even after when she was confirmed to have undiagnosed Kryptonite poisoning that effected her mind for a time, she only remembered snippets of information and those ships was one of them.

"When you were in the Vex Net... I began to have visions, and those ships was in them, they were tearing up-".

"Hey, hey" Y/N stopped Kara from continuing. "You don't need to continue".

Kara was about to respond fully but she held it back and nodded, when Kara first saw that Pyramid? She was completely scared out of her skin, she froze like ice, her eyes widened and Eris managed to snap her out of that state when she teleported Kara to her. 

"Okay" she nodded. "I only began to remember fully once I got cured from the Kryptonite" she informed him a little.

Y/N nodded at her, before hugging her. "Right now... We need to know how it got here in the first place" he looked back at the Pyramid once the hug broke. "I wonder if the Traveler struck it down, left it here on purpose...".

"The truth is ours to discover" Eris said with a conniving tone, gaining, Y/N, Glace and Kara's attention altogether.

"Discover how?" Y/N curiously asked, sensing a scheming tone in Eris as she looked back at them.

"We find a way... Inside" Eris seemed to smile at the plan she thought of...
