A/N: We're now entering the extra chapter stage, a bunch of chapters that I felt were necessary because I felt I'd rushed into the chapter before Infinite Crisis happens, so it'll be through this chapter which is Chapter 24, through to Chapter 28. The last couple of days since the arrival of the Vex has been nothing but strange and very odd.

The Precursor Vex that had arrived, were behaving quite oddly and it raised major concern between Y/N and Glace, as the Ghost herself hacked within the Vex Network to see why they had arrived.

It appeared that the reasoning for those Vex disrupting and hacking into not only the Justice League's Watchtower but also the Titans Tower and the Outsiders HQ, gaining information about this reality's culture, places, anything they could get their data on to learn more about this Earth in particular.

More specifically?

About the reports of 'the Guardian' helping teams out on missions that required his help to complete them...

At first? It sounded like bad news, but after yesterday with an encounter of a few Vex roaming outside the outskirts of Metropolis?

There was definitely something wrong with how the Vex were behaving.

No hostility...

No sign of assault...

Nothing... It was like they didn't care...

Or did they?

"No hostiles on tracker yet, let's keep moving" Y/N said from the front, hand cannon in hand as the group he took with him, followed behind.

"I could just easily fly us above here, scout out ahead for any of those sentient automatons" Supergirl suggested softly from behind, looking over the shoulder of her boyfriend.

"Bad risk, the Vex have already learned how you all operate, calculated and possibly simulated your every move, they're that intelligent beyond any mortal being, Supergirl" Y/N explained, continuing forward.

"Now that you say that?" the blonde heroine softly spoke after a few seconds of silence. "I'm just gonna do what you tell me from now on for anything like this".

"Really now?" Y/N cocked an eyebrow up. "Anything?".

"What're you... Oh..." The girl suddenly widened her eyes. "That didn't come out right, did it?".

"Nah, I'm messing with ya" he slapped the girl on the arm softly, getting a chuckle out of the gaff. "But, yes... That would be smart".

"Ugh, can you two go without talking for... I dunno? Five minutes?" Grace said from the back, rolling her eyes at the two young love birds.

"It's love, Grace" Boomerang Jr leaned back to Grace. "And it's her first one, let the girl be".

"Oh? So what's up with you and blondie over there then?" Grace cocked an eyebrow up in a questionable manner.

"Nothin" he replied. "We're friends, and I wouldn't want to steal her from him, when I 'av you" he flirted playfully, charming Grace.

"Okay, you're forgiven" Grace smiled at her boyfriend. "Just don't go all soft on the barbie girl there too much".

"I heard that" Supergirl didn't bother looking back at Grace, but her eyes drifted to the side as her head slightly turned to the side as well. "Super-Hearing" she pointed to her ears, pushing a strand of her golden hair that swept like a golden cape behind her.

"'Oh look at me, I'm Supergirl! I have all these amazing powers and I'm the cousin of Superman!'" the strong short haired girl decided to impersonate Kara, to add fuel to the fire. "We get it, Barbie. You're all Super and that".

"Ignore her" Y/N whispered back to her.

"I am, she ain't gettin' to me, not one bit" the Kryptonian gave him a smile before squinting her eyes toward something. "Hey, up-ahead, it's one of those Goblins".

Y/N looked forward, noticing his radar was pinging a hostile up-ahead, in form of a Precursor Goblin, it was but a mere spectacle from where they stood.

"Angel, it's not the close-"

"No, look! It's holding a flower!" Supergirl persisted, almost jumping up in a level of joy of seeing something she liked before calming down. "Do they... Usually do that?" she asked, making Y/N look back to where Kara first spotted the Goblin, standing rightfully outside a Vex fortification placed neatly.

"No... No they don't" even Y/N sounded confused, he had known about the weird behaviors in the last few days and before but... Holding a flower? 'Is Kara saying this to make me look, or?'. 

The Guardian decided to pull out his sniper to scope on in onto Supergirl observation as she placed a hand on his shoulder for support in a way, as the two others behind him stop and wonder why the sudden stop to see Y/N pull out his sniper...

Again?

"Another stop?" Boomerang questioned. "What you see this time?".

"Ugh, shouldn't we just-"

"Now calm your horses, Grace" Y/N spoke out in a serious manner. "Supergirl eyed out something not far from us and I'm checking it out on my scope, so sit tight and stay quiet. Had enough of your complaining as it is".

"Dang... He told ya" Boomer smirked as Grace glared at him. "What'a say?".

"So... That's very odd" Y/N mumbled to himself quietly as Kara leaned into his ear.

"Is it though?" she whispered back.

"Very..." he scoped out as Glace appeared beside the Guardian.

"I have never seen a Vex care for something so delicate in all the years I've been alive" Glace looked out at the distance ahead of them. "Been a while since we last checked in with the other team" Glace voiced out.

"Patch me in, let's see if they've found something" Y/N nodded with Glace nodding afterwards, connecting his channel with Nightwing's communicator. "Hey, Nightwing. It's Y/N, you found anything interesting?".

"Nope, nothing yet" the crackling of Nightwing's voice sounded out of his communicator, comms signals were a little static but still hearable on both ends. "The rest of us have only found... Well... OMACs around the area".

"The ones that Checkmate are operating?" Supergirl asked into Y/N's comms.

"I believe so, Batman suggested we keep the League informed about any O.M.A.C. activity since it's still relatively new, Brother I has been hacked and reprogrammed also by Checkmate according to Batman also" Nightwing added. "You found anything?".

"We have... Investigating now but come to us, don't think you want to miss this" Y/N spoke one last time into his communicator before tabbing out, his sniper soon vanished out of his hands in a shimmering glow as he stood up.

"So... What's the plan?" Supergirl asked, hands on her hips, giving off a power stance as the two others walked up, one looking bored and one who was actually listening.

"Well..." Y/N looked hesitant... "... We're just gonna approach the Vex Goblin, standing over there" he suggested, as the others looked at him like he lost his mind.

"Are you for real?" Supergirl asked. "I mean... We're just... Gonna?" she gestured to the distance ahead.

"Yep, that's the plan, you've convinced me enough that they've been friendly and non-hostile, especially with yesterday's encounter" Y/N pointed out word by word as Kara looked away for a moment to think of an answer.

"This might be the most dumbest plan I've ever heard..." Kara finally said before her face lit up. "Let's do it!".

"Are you serious?" Boomer turned to Kara.

"Of course you'd actually agree with him" Grace facepalmed slightly.

"What? Just saying it's not a bad plan" Kara shrugged her shoulders, not bothered at all. "Besides, it's better than just... Sneaking around".

"... You've got a good point there, Barbie" Grace agreed, making the Girl of Steel smile. "Maybe you're more optimistic than I realized".

"Well... Y/N doesn't call me sunshine and-"

"Let's get a move on" the Guardian suddenly interrupted, feeling embarrassed more as much to Supergirl's expectations with her giggling away like an idiot.

"Lead the way, Fireteam leader" Supergirl smirked.

"I would say ladies first but now that you say that? Guessing I'm taking point still then but? It's kinda good to hear those words again" he gave her a soft smile, pressing on forward after acknowledging his girlfriend.

"I aim to please" Kara smirked behind the Guardian, quickly kissing his cheek with her super speed and a gust of soft, swooshing wind, returning to her position like normal. "Especially for your needs".

Y/N gave off a smirk that looked mischievous. "Oh? You might wanna rephrase that".

"Why?" she asked, before catching on, softly giggling. "I better be careful with my choosing of words" she shrugged not long afterwards, smiling still, despite the continuous cringing happening from behind.

"God I hate those two" Grace muttered under her breath.

"Heard that" Kara smirked, now getting on Grace's nerves.

The older girl only rolled her eyes in annoyance as her boyfriend chuckles, getting another glare from her next, keeping herself quiet as much to her annoyance of the two pair of "idiots" in front of Boomer.

Vex Hobgoblins all took positions on high advantage points, awaiting for the enemy to be within sight of the fortification, housing a very special crystal that they knew would be eventually detected on radar from the time of them fortifying the surrounding area with their defenses, and after simulation, after simulation? They found the perfect paradox of success of defending the shard.

Vex Minotaurs looped around the surrounding area on the ground, alongside Goblins and Harpies, with a lone Hydra within the middle of the area, surrounded by Goblins, awaiting for command from their Vex Mind...

But the thing was? This wasn't any ordinary Vex Mind...

It was something different...

It was...

Someone...

He could see through the Goblin stationed outside the entrance of their fortress, holding a flower with gentle care while it remained outside, awaiting for someone.

On the other hand? He could see intruders on a very special but delicate part of the fortress, where a Vex data construct was, surrounded by people in colored spandex and outfits, in the midst of battle.

He was hesitant on... Assisting these... People from their threat, no it wasn't Vex attacking them.

It was rather different to him, he was unsure of what these other intruders were but they seek harm and were careless of their actions.

A sniper in hand, coloured with a Vex Metallic Bronze, his armor blue and silver like, he had a hood covering his helmet.

"They're coming in now, I can see him" a voice spoke out to him, a female voice, robotic but sentient.

"Let them..." he responded with pride, as if he was happy to finally meet...

Another Guardian...

"It's been so long since I ever seen a Guardian, again..."

"So... Do we just walk up or?" Supergirl looked over Y/N's shoulder, staring right at the Vex Goblin that stood still, holding and examining a flower with care still.

"Or do we bust it down?" Grace asked.

"No..." Y/N answered. "I'll approach first".

"And get killed? Are you actually this crazy?" Boomer subjected, with Kara smirking at him next.

"Oh Boomer, you forgetting one other thing?" she questioned before gesturing. "He's a Guardian, Glace can revive him if he dies".

"Yeah, I know but-".

"I'll be fine, Boomer. But thanks for looking out for me" Y/N smiled but didn't bother looking back at him, as Boomer relaxed a little.

The Guardian decided now was the time to approach, with Supergirl and the other two, watching on, getting ready to spring on out if the Goblin is actually hostile.

He decided it would be best to holster his gun, to show no sign of threat toward the Goblin as he came into better view, the Goblin shifted itself to look at him, gun still pointed down as it took in the Guardian's appearance.

"Uh... Hello?" he waved at the Goblin, clueless to why the Goblin was alone in the first place.

The sentient robot looked at his hand waving, and in response?

It placed down the flower gently and waved back...

"Okay. When I said the Vex aren't naturally creepy? Maybe I was wrong" Glace would shudder if she could but could only let out a shaky voice for her feeling, Y/N only chuckled at the thought.

"Quite eery but... Probably mind blowing that a friendly Vex like this fella isn't showing hostility at all... Not since the friendly Harpy on Nessus, claiming to be Captain Jacobson" he referred back.

"Wait... What's it doing now?" Glace questioned, taking notice of the Goblin performing a 'follow me' gesture, as it couldn't naturally speak in any way. 

"It's... Wanting us to follow it?" Y/N raised an eyebrow at his question, before looking back at the others. "Hey! It's safe! You can come on out!" he shouted to the others, acknowledging them to pop out.

Supergirl was first to pop out, floating on over with her cape rustling on behind her as it normally does when she levitates, like some sort of activation.

"Ugh, I was really hoping on hitting it's soft spot" Grace complained from the back.

"With your fists?" Y/N looked at her with a serious manner. "I would recommend you don't without protective wear, that's Vex Milk, gets everywhere when you hit it".

"Yeah, she hasn't looked at the information your Ghost lended to us, yet" Boomer informed the Guardian who visibly face palmed.

"Of course you haven't" Y/N sighed upon hearing Kara giggle from the back, placing a necklace made out of flowers over the Goblin's head, as it showed no hostility to her.

"Looks good on you" she smiled at the Goblin who looked at her, making a simple noise before looking back at the Guardian approaching.

"Supergirl, what're you doing?" he questioned, looking at the necklace. "And how did you-"

"Grabbed a couple of flowers, found some string and made this" she gestured to the flowered necklace wearing Goblin. "Was for you but... I thought maybe the lonely Goblin here could look snazzy, so..." she shrugged.

"Where did you find a piece of string?" he questioned? Wondering how Kara even found string in the first place, not out of thin air most would imagine.

"Well... From my skirt?" she gestured a shrug with her arms and hands out. "There was a little piece of string hanging off my skirt, and it's Kryptonian fabrics so... it'll hold for a very long time" she flaunted her skirt, lifting it up to show red shorts underneath. "Will need to sow it up when we get back though, it's un-noticeable though".

"Well, let's get a move on. This Vex wants to show us something, not sure what but... Let's see where it leads us... But remember" he stopped the group for a moment. "Be ready for anything".

"Gotcha" Supergirl smiled.

"Finally" the man sighed with a relief to it. "It's been so long since I could meet a Guardian again".

He looked down at the glowing shard, glowing brightly but dimmed, just like all the other shards he found along his way on this... Newer found reality, before he could bring the Vex that he controlled to this... Earth.

For all eternity spent across timelines, once been trapped within the Vault of Glass on Venus for how many years? He couldn't keep count of the years trapped within that Vault, he was glad to have escaped it, but he roamed this Earth, found many Shards of Light.

He had a feeling that one day? He'd find a Guardian again...

The Guardian he hoped he'd run into one day.

He helped him and Glace once before with his messages about the Taken corruption within the Vault on Venus.

Now he can help physically... With his own Vex at his side...

The group kept on following the lonely Goblin, which helped construct paths for them to travel along, despite Kara being a gentlewoman and flying Y/N over paths from one side to another, while leaving the other two behind.

Grace was about to complain at times but the Goblin assisted in creating platforms, this was a defensive mechanism, to not allow any intruders across, only their allies.

"Where'd you think the Goblin is taking us?" Boomer asked curiously, if Y/N even had an answer to begin with.

"I don't know..." Y/N kept looking forward, walking slow behind the Goblin. "Just be ready for anything, surprisingly this Goblin is helping you both across, though Supergirl would've helped anyway".

"Why didn't she then?" Grace questioned, folding her arms with a frown.

"I knew the Goblin was gonna help us across..." Kara looked back. "I just wanted to fly Y/N over because I felt like it" she smiled.

"More like you were being a gentlewoman" Y/N added in.

"That too" she smiled at him, planting a sneaky peck on his cheek before looking to the front of her.

"If only someone would do the same for me" Boomer hinted at Grace who glared at him.

"I do!" she scolded him before thinking back on it. "Do I?".

"Not all the time" Boomer shrugged. "I'm only playing ya, would be nice though" the two began having a conversation between themselves as Y/N's Ghost appeared beside him.

"Uh, Guardian. I'm detecting a trace of Light ahead... Two traces, and very strong traces" she informed him, eyes instantly locked onto her.

"In here?" he questioned his Ghost's info. "To where the Goblin is leading us?" he asked.

"I believe so" Glace answered, though sounding unsure.

"I don't like the tone of your voice there".

"Well... It could be leading us there, from the direction we're going? It's likely" she responded to him, coming up with a better answer. "I think this Goblin is more than just friendly, it's leading us to someone I think".

"I wouldn't doubt Glace, Y/N" Kara then joined in the conversation, with her boyfriend looking back at her next.

"How come?".

"I can hear another heartbeat up ahead, and more of those Vex" the pupils of her eyes glowed for a few seconds, seeing through the walls ahead of them before returning to her normal baby blues. "This Goblin is leading us to someone, looks like a male and wearing armor and carrying a gun" she informed him as Y/N looks ahead with a surprised look.

"Well... Let's see who it is then".

It didn't take long until the group got to where the Goblin was leading them, to a place that seemed to be a garden of some kind... A gentle but deadly garden.

Tons of Vex were stationed within the garden itself, Vex fortifications were around the place, surrounded by grass, flowers that seemed... Paracausal in nature, giving off Light readings.

The Goblin that escorted them, stood by the entrance of the garden looking area, were the group felt the Vex stationed here, staring at them, giving off an eery but watchful look in case if Y/N or the other three tried something that felt hostile to them.

Luckily? No one had a thought in mind of such hostility.

"So... A whole area filled with Vex not wanting to kill us *garble* but stare at us? Hehe... This is great" the sarcastic attitude of Glace spoke out, as the group cautiously walked on through.

"Keep your cool everyone, don't do anything stupid" Y/N gave out his fair share of words of the current situation.

"Not when they're staring at us, it's giving me the creeps" Grace couldn't keep her eyes off the many that stared at her, looking uneased at the fact of being stared upon.

"Just relax" a new voice spoke out, approaching the group as they all laid eyes on the man approaching. "These Vex won't harm you, they're with me" he added, a voice that sounded awfully familiar to both Y/N and Glace.

Y/N's facial expression was giving off a cautious look still, unsure if whether he was dreaming or not.

"Supergirl, is this the guy?" Y/N whispered to Kara, leaning into her ear to which? She did the same.

"Yeah, that's him, seen him with my x-ray vision" Supergirl stated in her reply. "Just him and those Vex around us".

The man approached the group further, sniper in hand which looked very, very familiar.

"Wait... That the sniper? we once found it in the Vault of Glass!" Glace eyed the sniper, wanting to examine it further but she stayed beside her Guardian... Just in case.

"I never thought I'd get to meet the one Guardian I once helped clear out a Taken Infestation of the Vault of Glass, with just my messages alone, it's... A pleasure to meet you" the man with the helmet and hood spoke again, making it obvious who he was.

"Wait... Are you... That's impossible..." Y/N eyes slightly widened.

"That voice... The messages... Helped us clear out a Taken Infestation??" Ghost began to connect the dots, surprised herself, shocked now that a living Guardian was standing in front of them! "You're... Praedyth?!"

"You guessed right, Ghost" Praedyth replied, before his own Ghost appeared beside him, still connected to his Light. "It's been so long since I last seen a Guardian, let alone? Interact with one since my fireteam fell" he talked further, with Y/N getting a little closer ahead of the group he brought along.

"I mean... It's an honor... Praedyth, we thought you were but a myth? We found your skeleton! But no Ghost" Y/N, still in shock, approached Praedyth, his hand now away from his hand cannon and at ease.

"Oh that? Well... It's a long story, but I was stuck in a time-loop by the Vex within the Vault of Glass, stuck across different timelines, alive and with my Ghost. I began sending out messages, hoping someone would pick them out, knowing that I don't know how long it has been, I estimate a very long time" he explained in short detail of his... Experience.

"It has been, Praedyth" Glace chimed in. "A long time, the Vault of Glass was shut off after your fireteam disappeared and were never heard of again, you became a myth".

"Well... At least I knew that happened" Praedyth looked away for a little moment, before he looked back at the Guardian and his Ghost. "Still got my Light and all, and these Vex? They're very special Vex".

Y/N looked at the many Vex stationed everywhere he could see, along with the three other heroes he brought with him, which Praedyth then looked at.

"I see you brought those uh... Heroes with you? Could hear your conversation through that Goblin, the one that uh...".

"Oh, yeah. That's Supergirl. She's uh... Well".

"I'm his girlfriend" she shyly admitted, placing her hands within her cape behind her. "It's... Good to meet another Guardian though, Y/N's taught me all about them" she smiled before looking at the other two. "This is Boomer".

Boomerang Jr gave a subtle nod as his response.

"And this is Grace, she has a mouth on her".

"Shut it, Barbie" Grace scolded.

"Believe me, I already know who you all are" Praedyth responded, making Kara look a little dumbfounded. "Due to the uh... Information I asked my set of Vex to borrow".

"Wait... You ordered them to hack into not only the Outsiders computer but, the Justice League's Watchtower and the Titans Tower?!" Grace questioned loudly, in a authoritative manner, aggressively approaching Praedyth before the Vex suddenly drew their weapons at the group, ready to fire and protect their "Vex Mind".

"Grace!" Boomer held onto Grace, pulling her back before she made a mistake.

"Well I was going to apologize for that..." Praedyth issued. "But..." he held out a signal to the Vex to stand down, doing so made them lower their weapons, with Boomer letting Grace go.

"That's incredible" Glace examined Praedyth with his Ghost looking at her. "How is it that you can control these Vex? Is it through manipulation?".

"I found these Vex in some timeline. They... Worship the Light believe it or not".

"Vex that worship the Light?" Y/N questioned curiously. "That's something I never thought possible".

"I thought so too, they may look like Precursor Vex? But they're not, their armor is actually blessed by the Traveler, I don't know how but... It has something to do in their timeline, these Vex mean no harm... But I know they were testing you and the Titans I believe? A few days ago, you haven't lost your touch, Guardian, or is it Y/N?" Praedyth holstered his gun, offering his hand for Y/N to shake.

"Yes, yes it is" Y/N shook it with pride. "It's an honor, Praedyth".

"For why these Vex are here? They followed me, found out where I travelled to through manipulating the time-loop I got stuck in within the Vault of Glass, and since they worship the Light, and they don't attack Guardians who use the Light for good. Though the last few days ago? They were just testing you, they could've killed your Ghost if they tried but they didn't" he explained more in detail, giving the Guardian and his Ghost a better understanding.

"So... As long as we don't attack them?".

"They won't be hostile, currently? The Vex here estimate you showing zero percent hostility, same goes with..." he looked at Kara with a pause to his words.

"Supergirl" Kara told him again. "You can also call me Kara, Kara Zor-El if you like, though I prefer Supergirl when I wear the cape" she flaunted her cape a little.

"Right... Kara" Praedyth continued. "She shows zero percent hostility also, however..."

"You don't need to say it" Boomer answered for him. "Grace can be..."

"Keep your mouth shut or you're sleeping on the couch, tonight" Grace threatened, keeping Boomer quiet.

"Romantic relationships... Never got them, never will" Praedyth mumbled to himself before looking back at Y/N. "I know you have another group here as well, they were defending themselves pretty well from those damn intruders trying to snatch something from our fortress".

"Did you assist them?" Y/N then asked, wondering but worried if Praedyth sent Vex or not.

"I did last minute, the group wasn't sure if the Vex I sent were friendly or not, had to show them somehow that they weren't. They're currently on their way here, I have them being escorted here, but they're uneased by them".

Boomer, Grace, go catch up with the others, tell them that the Vex aren't hostile here-".

"Less we attack them? Got it, on it boss" Boomer acknowledged, walking away with Grace following behind, leaving Y/N and Supergirl with Praedyth and his Ghost who seemed shy.

"I believe they know about the energy source here as well" Praedyth looked behind him, looking at the prized possession.

Y/N looked overhead, seeing the source of the other Light energy source which didn't come as a surprise to him, nor did it to Glace.

"Another Shard of Light?" Supergirl levitated over to the shard with Y/N and Glace approaching it with Praedyth.

"Indeed, assuming you've seen these before?" the man out of time, asked the Girl of Steel.

"She's seen plenty" Y/N answered for Supergirl. "Those times she was with me to collect them, especially one from the Hive and Taken".

"That's another issue, the Hive are now here. I already knew the Taken were" Praedyth's tone turned serious. "They've surely been busy from the mission reports the Vex borrowed from every computer from those different factions you were working alongside with".

"Teams actually, the Justice League, Outsiders and The Titans" Supergirl corrected. "And, you haven't apologized yet" she spoke bluntly.

"Ah yes... About that..." the older Guardian looked away for a moment. "I hope that nothing was damaged during that time for which I am sorry for, I had to find out more about Y/N or is it actually Zain?" he looked at Y/N with a question.

"It's either, everyone calls me Y/N though" the Guardian shrugged.

"Why did you want to know more about Y/N? Is he important?" the Girl of Steel questioned with a serious facial expression, touching the ground with her feet beside the glowing shard.

"So I was sure if there really was another Guardian or not" Praedyth answered fairly.

"Hmm" Glace hummed, who had been examining the shard all this time during the conversation. "This shard... It's more potent, just like the one we found, defended by those Hive and Taken within Scotland".

"The shard you see is what caused this entire surrounding area to look like this, all the growth, the flowers" Praedyth answered.

"The Traveler could terraform planets, it made Mercury a Garden World" Glace continued. "But how can a singular shard, this size, turn this surrounding area into a garden?" she questioned, the shard was smaller than the other ones, yet more potent with Light than the others.

"I'm unsure, but the Vex seem more intrigued in it" Y/N answered.

"They are in fact, they've made it their mission to defend it, it can't be dug out from the ground. Already tried" Praedyth answered next.

Supergirl's eyes glowed a blue once again, x-raying the ground where the shard was, it was like a form of roots running through the ground, detecting a form of radiation coming from the roots themselves all thanks to her vision being able to detect it.

"I can see a form of radiation coming from... Roots under our feet" Supergirl spoke, informing the others.

"How so?" Praedyth asked.

"I'm Supergirl, that's why" she smiled. "In all seriousness. I have different forms of vision, x-ray, electromagnetic spectrum, telescopic, microscopic, etcetera".

"Huh... I see".

"Yeah, her powers are pretty insane" Y/N answered for Praedyth. "She's not a Guardian, but, she is Super".

Supergirl gave a smile at her boyfriend before continuing with her observation. "It's harmful radiation. These roots, their everywhere in this area".

"I suspect they're might be more shards out there, the Vex created this fortress surrounding the area to keep the terraformation from spreading out more, my Ghost translated it all" Praedyth gave some info on the matter alone, with Y/N looking at him next.

"I thought the Light was good? Not seeking harm?" Y/N asked before he looked at Glace.

"Before you question me, I don't have an answer" she retorted.

"It's not about that" Praedyth intervened. "The Vex here may worship the Light, but they see the Light can be... Chaotic if left unchecked".

"How so?" Y/N asked.

"If left unchecked, like this shard here... The terraforming can cause a lot of issues... And could potentially cause harm, or worse..."

"This could spread out and cause destruction?" Y/N asked next, hoping it wasn't the case, though Praedyth wasn't showing his face? He had a confirmation look on it. 

"Possibly" he answered after a few seconds. "But thankfully... The Vex has contained the terraformation in this fortress, keeping this Earth and the shard safe" he looked at the Vex stationed around the area again, keeping a watchful eye. "As long as your on the side of good? They'll be on your side".

"Thank the Traveler for that" Glace whirled. "Never thought of seeing a whole friendly force of Vex in all the years I've been alive".

"Nor did I" Y/N said also.

"Seems your friends have arrived" Praedyth looked at the entrance, seeing the Vex he sent out have escorted the others. "Best you get them up to speed, come see me after... I have to tell you about a issue I'm reviewing, regarding the Sol Consensus Vex Network" Praedyth nodded toward the Guardian, heading to the side with his Ghost.

Supergirl approached her boyfriend with a worried look on her face, showing concern for something as Y/N took notice.

"You alright?" Y/N asked softly as the Girl of Steel gave him a subtle half smile.

"Yeah... It's just... I dunno if we'll ever have our second romantic, proper date at this point" the girl spoke with a little disheartening tone. "I mean, I suppose you could call us hanging out, a date still, but..." Kara looked away for a moment. "Does this ever get any easier? Just to simply relax and enjoy ourselves, instead of fighting to live another day, sort of thing?".

Y/N looked somewhat surprised that Supergirl, out of everyone, would ask this. He knew that Kara really enjoyed wearing her cape, colored red with yellow outlines, flaunting it around and all she could do with it while soaring the skies, being faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive.

He then wrapped an arm around her, a way of comfort for her. "What'd you mean? I thought you love wearing the cape and all that?" he asked.

"Believe me, I do" she defended herself on that note. "But... I keep thinking to myself, am I really... Me?" she looked down at herself, placing a hand on the House of El sigil on her top.

"You're still having trouble figuring out about yourself?" he asked, Kara nodded. "But I thought we already went through this? That you... Found out?".

"I lied" Kara was hesitant, but she answered nonetheless, seeing concern spread across the Guardian's face. "Look, I know it's all of a sudden that I'm dropping this all on you but... I'm still finding it hard for myself, finding out who I want to be, what I really want. Do I want to be Supergirl, save the day and fly around on Earth and space while wearing my cape and this outfit? Yeah I do! But... There's this other part of me who wants to have a life, be a normal girl outside of being Supergirl, y'know what I mean?" she looked at her boyfriend with her being unsure about herself.

Y/N could see it in her eyes also, that unsureness and unawareness of herself, of what she really wanted. He wasn't an expert on those such things but all he could do was try his best, and Kara Zor-El, knew that.

"Kara Zor-El and Supergirl are the same person" the girl continued. "But... What if... I could have something else? Another...?".

"Another identity?" Y/N put out the word she was searching for, seeing a little hope spread across her face.

"Yes... Yes! That's the word. Identity" Kara thought about it for a moment as Glace approached. "But... How do I figure it out?".

"Hmm, there is a few options" Glace joined in.

"Like what?" Kara showed interest in hearing the 'options', as Y/N slightly chuckled.

"I'm sure we can give a call to your cousin, he could help with this too" he suggested on calling the Boy Scout, which Kara looked a little concerned about.

"Y-Yeah... I guess we could" she stammered on her words, staring into space which Y/N caught after a few seconds.

"Use him, Daughter. Let that idiot call him over, Kill Kal-El" she recalled hearing the twisted voice of her father speak to her, memorizing a somewhat memory of her being forced to kill her mother...

She only remembered seeing them die before Krypton exploded all around them, she wasn't sure why this was happening, why she could hear her father command her to kill her own cousin. It didn't make sense, even belittling her for being a hero also, which she wasn't a fan of being belittled about.

"Uh... Kara? Earth to Supergirl? You there?" he waved a hand in front of Kara, which seemed to break her out of her strange daydream.

"Um... Y-Yeah, I'm here" she shook her head a little. "Can I tell you something?" Kara asked with hesitancy in her tone.

"Sure, you can tell me anything" Y/N looked into Kara's eyes after answering her, wondering what she wanted to tell him.

The girl... Being stubborn, wasn't sure how to say it... To tell him about hearing her father demanding Kal-El's death at her hands, the weeks of being belittled at times through an imagination of her father, Zor-El. Seeing dreams of being forced to kill her mother due to some... Plague or virus at her words, times where she woke up with the ceiling having two burns, caused by the panicked activation of her heat vision.

"I... Nevermind... Can I tell you after? We should join up with the others to explain mostly everything else" Kara shut down what she wanted to tell him, a feeling of her stomach turning at that moment.

"Sure" Y/N was optimistic, not seeing the signs... Unlike Glace. "We can do that, then you can tell me, right?".

"Yeah" she nodded, before feeling a pair of lips on her cheek, which seemed to take away the sickening feeling in her stomach and the headache of Zor-El's voice in her head.

He allowed Kara to join with the others, levitating over as Glace disappeared into Y/N's backpack.

"Y/N, there's something wrong that she's not telling us, I'm detecting something within her, but I can't make out of what it is effecting her" 

"Effecting her? You sure, Glace?" he asked her quietly as possible, although Kara could hear him, a feeling of guilt spreaded across her face slightly from where he couldn't see her face since her back was turned to him.

"Yes, I'm very sure" she answered seriously. "Once this is over? I hope she tells us, unless we have to ask her about it".

"I'm sure she will... Whatever it is...".
