"I don't understand why I have to be there too" complained a Guardian who was currently being carried like a bride within the sky by a pair of feminine arms, covered in blue sleeves with a gold outline at the end of each sleeve.

"Because I want you to!" exclaimed an excited blonde haired alien girl. "Cassie invited me over to try out for the team! And I want my best friend to be there for me" sweetly said the clad Girl of Steel, her full red, and gold outlined cape swishing behind her as she soared through the sky along with her golden hair. "Besides, you've met em before, the only person I get along with mostly and know well is Cassie and don't worry... You're not exactly being replaced".

Y/N chose to ignore whatever that meant from her last sentence. "Guess you didn't want me to be left out, huh?" he asked as Supergirl turned to him and smiled.

"Just to keep your mind off of things regarding those three weeks ago" at least three weeks ago, Y/N had found and buried Aya with her Ghost, Yhonder, on the beach near the Amazon Rainforest within Brazil, Aya gifted him, her sniper as a final goodbye. Knowing it would be useful in his hands, other than hers as she predicted that he would've found her.

He began to ponder on what had killed her and Yhonder, which is why the Outsiders vowed to investigate for him which was rather a nice gesture, he needed all the help he can to find out who and what killed Aya and Yhonder, she mentioned something that killed her but it was unhearable and unreadable once the message was shared to the Outsiders for them to listen into for information and evidence.

Which is why Batman provided files and logs from Y/N's information he gave the Dark Knight after his arrival to the Earth he and his Ghost is currently stuck on, with the Justice League doing everything they can, to find whatever Earth Y/N and Glace came from.

"Oh.... Right" he lowered his voice upon thinking back to that moment, the realization that his once chance to finally complete his original objective, which came to an unfortunate end. "I guess this can... Keep my mind off it for a little bit".

"I don't mean to ask, though I am... But has the Outsiders found anything yet? A little evidence or something?" Supergirl asked him cautiously, not wanting to pop a emotion pimple.

"Nothing... They went back to the Rainforest but only found little to no evidence... Something or SOMEONE... Killed her and Yhonder, and they're gonna pay" he vowed with a sense of vengeance before sighing. "Then again... I already had to avenge one Guardian and their Ghost... Now another?" he pondered.

"Don't think too much about it, okay?" the Girl of Steel brought his attention back to her. "It'll only make it worse".

Y/N simply chuckled lightly at her words, finding a sense of amusement at how adorable she sounded, inspiring too. "You've been here for what? four-almost-five months on Earth and you're already being a Girl-Scout?" he chuckled again before pinching her cheek softly, causing her to giggle lightly with him.

"I've been hanging around my cousin more than I should have, right?" she asked herself and him before laughing softly next. "I guess it runs in the family" she gave a visible shrug as her eyes lock with his, feeling a sense of butterflies dancing in her stomach next.

"Heh" he gave a simple chuckle before a question speared his mind. "Where was this tower again?" he asked next, bringing Kara out of her daydream.

"Oh... Uh, San Francisco! Which we're currently flying above right now" she gave a bright smile.

"San Francisco does have the famous Golden Gate Bridge, the Humans of this Earth call it, doesn't look Golden to me though" Glace spoke within the Guardian's pocket dimension backpack, only hearing her voice in his head.

"Well... It's red, not gold. You're right on that" he responded as Kara giggled loudly. "What? What's so funny?".

"Oh you two... The name has nothing to do with its color" she giggled a little more. "It's got to do with the Golden Gate Strait, which is the entrance to San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean" Kara spoke with a smart sense of humor in a way, making him frown a little.

"Someone's done their research".

"And I thought Glace was smart to know that" Kara smirked.

"Hey!!" Glace shouted with an offended tone.

"She's not happy about that" he deadpanned to Kara.

"Hmph, bite me" she pulled a face before the two erupted in laughter.

"How did you become my best friend?" he asked her next as she thought long and hard about it, their destination was coming to an end soon as Kara saw the famous tower ahead.

"I don't know?" she shrugged lightly. "But hey! We're almost there, look!" she focused her eyes toward where she was looking, making him look to what she was looking at as his eyes bestowed upon their destination.

The Titans Tower

"Hey! You made it!" the pair saw another blonde haired girl, wearing a vest with a gold eagle looking sigil on the front, a pair of jeans that donned stars with a lasso attached to her right where a gun would be holstered, wore black heeled boots and wore bracelets, who was flying toward them while calling out to the pair. Supergirl had the brightest smile on her face when seeing who had approached her and Y/N who she was carrying.

"Cassie!" Kara gleefully called out the girl's name with the pair smiling at each other before giggles escaped them both. Wonder Girl aka Cassandra 'Cassie' Sandsmark is the third Wonder Girl of this Earth, and considers Supergirl her best friend.

"Omigod, it's so good to see you!" Cassie attempted to hug the Girl of Steel but realized who Kara was carrying with her. "Um... Hi Y/N" she waved, still keeping her smile.

"Hey there... This is awkward" he exclaimed.

"You don't mind if he tags along? I may have brought him and his Ghost here with me..." Supergirl asked politely, even cringing up her face knowing she might've screwed her opportunity already, but... Wonder-Girl simply smiles at her.

"Sure! I do owe him for saving my ass a few weeks ago, he and his Ghost can tag along" she was happy nonetheless, inviting even which was nice... Considering he was considered trespassing one time which he didn't mean to.

"Great!" Kara exclaimed with joy, the pair now flying toward the Tower. "This is so exciting, can't believe this is happening. Finally getting to know the Titans more better! And it's with you!".

"I'm excited too! You're gonna love it here, whether you're a full time Titan or part time" Cassie replied with a smile toward Kara.

"Speaking of, how's your week been, Kara? I've got a lot to tell you about" Cassie then asked the clad full blue costumed and red caped Supergirl who looked happy to answer the Demigod's question.

"Oh it's been the usual! Been helping out my cousin in Metropolis for a little bit" she began to list off. "Helped some heroes take down some... Really weird looking guys that oozed this black and whitish energy, Y/N calls them the Taken which I'm sure you've dealt with before alongside him" she shook Y/N a little as the pair now landed near the Tower at the front entrance.

Cassie wanted to give Kara the full tour around, even taking the main entrance instead of the roof was to be part of the tour.

Supergirl put Y/N onto his feet before his Ghost appeared beside him, knowing the area was comfortably safe.

"Yeah, we defo have" she nodded. "Y/N here saved Tim from one of those big Taken... Ogres that spawned in" she informed the Kryptonian.

"Y/N told me that" Kara smiled at him next. "His intel on the Taken was great, knew how to deal with them, despite me still being hurt due to their weaponry and all that".

"Yeah they hit really hard, Cyborg had trouble fighting off just a squad of Taken too. Until Y/N arrived, we had an advantage" Cassie again praised Y/N, even though he was standing there, she was only looking at Kara as the two girls walked ahead of him.

He took the time to look at his Ghost who shook herself sideways as if she was shaking her head, or shrugging for that matter, before he looked back at the girls in front of them, talking girl gossip while rushing ahead of him and Glace. 

"Am I being third wheeled here? If that's a saying??" he asked with a genuine confused look as the two looked back at him before at each other and burst out giggling as he showed a deadpanned look on his face.

"Aw" Cassie remarked, seeing the look on Kara's best friend's face. She found it rather cute in a way.

"Oh Y/N... I'm so sorry" Kara still giggling herself, floated toward him and gave him a hug as she landed in front of him. "I'll best not third wheel you again, you sure love getting attention" she smirked with Cassie still giggling in the background.

"Oh be quiet! I sure do not!" he sounded offended.

"Uh... *Garble* You sure, Guardian?" Glace joined in, Y/N broke the hug Kara was giving him to look Glace in the eye with a frowned look.

"I maybe a little cocky at times... But that's totally different to wanting attention!" he pointed at his Ghost. Cassie approached the pair as she stood beside Kara next.

"They're like a married couple" Cassie whispered.

"Which is funnier considering he needs her and she needs him... In a totally different way" Kara added on as they watched the two argue.

"I. Do. NOT!" Y/N argued back.

"Yes. You. Do... Why are we even having this argument?" Glace asked herself, as Y/N began to cool down.

"I don't know?!" he shrugged. "Maybe if you'd get it through that... Brain of yours? You'd just accept the difference between attention and cockiness" he folded his arms with a deepened frown next.

"Funny, I've wondered that myself" Glace now spoke to herself. "Do I and other Ghosts, have a brain?".

"You're ignoring me now, aren't you?" he deadpanned again.

"Well... *Garble* Yeah... It's a stupid argument and you know it" if Glace had arms, she'd cross them too, sensing a jealousy inside of her of wanting an organic body but she's a Ghost... Nothing she can do there.

"Yeah... Y'know what? You're right" he sighed, before he starts chuckling. "After all these years, you can still be a pain in my ass..." he added, seemingly offending his Ghost who looked at him annoyed. "In a good way, I mean" he raised his hands up in surrender, changing Glace's view on what he meant.

"Oh? *Garble* Then, and I'm happy to be a pain in your ass. *Garble* But after all these years, I thank you for being my Guardian".

"So... You two stopped arguing then?" Supergirl intervened, smiling like an idiot as she does as she dug her fists into her hips on each side.

"Yeah... I think we're done" Glace replied, floating beside her Guardian once again.

"Oh uh... Y/N, Glace" Cassie got the attention of the Guardian and his Ghost. "I heard about your friend and her Ghost... I'm sorry to hear what happened to them" Cassie was rather sweet in giving her condolences for Aya and Yhonder.

"Oh? *soft titter* You don't need to but... We're happy to take your condolences, it means a lot" he nodded in Cassie's direction, prompting to give him a hug next, taking him by surprise.

"Group hug!" Kara proclaimed loudly, speeding herself toward the pair by joining in to hug them. Y/N having no choice was forced to endure the comforting hug from the two blonde girls, making him smile a little brighter than earlier.

'Think this might've made me feel a little better' he thought to himself, accepting the hug before it finally broke.

The two girls pulled back with little giggles escaping them next as Y/N only smiled at the both. "Thanks girls".

"No problem" Kara happily exclaimed, a grin forming on her face as Cassie walked up close to the tower in the shape of a T.

"Well now that's out of the way... May I show you three inside of the Titans Tower?" Cassie asked, following up with hums of approval and nods. "Supergirl... Y/N and Glace... Welcome to the Titans Tower" Cassie happily introduced before turning to Kara. "Supergirl? May I be the first to welcome you to the Teen Titans!"

"So... Y/N, Glace, what's brought you both to the Titans Tower?" A curious voice asked the two of them, leaning on the nearby wall was the daughter of an assassin/mercenary named Deathstroke.

Y/N hadn't had a run in with Deathstroke personally as of yet but he knows what the man is capable of, being one of Batman's greatest foes besides the Joker being one.

"I can guess... That Supergirl forced you to come, didn't she?" he could guess she was right in a certain way, but nonetheless... It wasn't exactly accurate.

"Haha, no... No she didn't force me, she ASKED me... I was gonna say no but she swooped me up and flew over here anyway" he denied her forcing him to come with her.

"So she just... Guessed?" another voice spoke out, asking him another question. "Kinda like when I accidentally read someone's thoughts without even meaning to" a green skinned girl with red hair continued, wearing a white shirt with a big red X across it, all while wearing a blue skirt and blue cape, her name is Miss Martian aka Megan Morse, or... M'gann M'orzz in other words, she was a lot like J'onn J'onzz or Martian Manhunter as his other alias.

Only difference is that she's a White Martian, not a Green Martian, which are said to be two species of Martian that are rivals. To M'gann? It didn't matter.

"Before you say it, M'gann, no... She can't read minds unlike you" he shut down any theory on whatever she was going to theorize. "But I guess she did? Still didn't know why she wanted me here but... Now I understand why".

"Last time, you were here. We thought you were an intruder until we realized it was you" the voice of Tim Drake, Red Robin spoke from within the same room.

"Oh you all did?!" Rose seemed intrigued by Tim's comment. "Please tell me you all got your asses handed by him?" she pointed toward the Guardian, hoping they fought before hand.

"No, we almost did though" Tim however shut down the conversation, not wanting to even think about that moment.

"Aw shucks" The daughter of Deathstroke silently sulked to herself, crossing her arms as Miss Martian sat down on the couch, opposite of where the Guardian was standing.

She seemed to be staring at him for a brief moment before she noticed him looking back at her.

"She's still giving Supergirl the show around, they'll be here soon" M'gann spoke before he even had the chance.

"Did you just read my Guardian's mind?" Glace asked as if she was going to interrogate the Martian girl.

"Why yes" she admitted. "Sorry, sorry... I-I can't help it at times, it-it just... Happens" she let out a nervous laugh, spurting out apologies to their direction.

"Yeah... It happens too often" Rose said with an emphasis venom in her words.

"She's sorta new, Rose" Tim intervened. "Cut her some slack".

"She's been on the Titans since I joined" Rose fired back. "And that I'm sorta new, too".

"Speaking of which" Y/N now changed the subject, hoping to avoid this conversation. "Where are the original Titans? Beast Boy, Raven and Cyborg? Even Kid Flash??" Y/M asked, grabbing Red Robin's attention.

"Raven, Beast Boy and Cyborg are currently dealing with something with the Teen Titans East, Bart is also with them too, the now it's just us" Tim proclaimed his answer toward the Guardian who quickly checked his gun out.

"Never got to say it but... Nice gun" Rose said from the other side of the room, watching him check the cylinder component, he holstered it next and gave a smile toward the white haired girl's direction.

"Thank you, it belonged to my best friend" he told her next, as a question now shunned her mind.

"I thought Supergirl doesn't use guns?" Rose pondered as a chuckle escaped the Guardian, laughing at the subtle joke the girl made, or at least that's what he thought.

"No, my best friend before her, Cayde-6" he replied, feeling a sense of somber, yet relaxed feeling in his body, as if talking about him felt... Right in a certain form. Though not all know who Cayde-6 was or will ever meet him... His legend grows on with Y/N carrying it.

"Cayde-6?" Rose cracked a smile. "Why a number at the end of his name?" she asked curiously, taking herself off the wall to walk behind the couch.

"That's because he's an Exo, Rose" Y/N nor Glace responded as M'gann done it for them before turning back to look at the out-worldly trapped visitors. "Oh sorry, I should've let you say it instead" she sheepishly apologized as the Guardian gave her a sweet smile.

"It's fine, you don't need to be sorry" he took the apology regardless, knowing the girl wasn't doing any harm. "An Exo is a robotic body that can possess a human mind, take it as like a newer body of sorts, able to still eat, drink, sleep and all that... Not sure about reproducing because that won't work but... That's pretty much the gist of what an Exo is" he shrugged toward Rose next.

"Still doesn't really answer my question... Why the number at the end of his name?" Rose asked again, crossing her arms as she impatiently tapped her foot off the ground.

"Because of how many times he's been rebooted, he was rebooted six times before becoming a Guardian after the Collapse" Glace answered for Y/N, which satisfied Rose enough.

Just as things were quieter enough as Y/N was going to ask if the place was ever quiet, the doors then opened, showing both Wonder-Girl and Supergirl on the other side, as they then stepped out, both girls smiling as Kara's seemingly brightened in amazement at the room they now stood in.

"And this is the main living quarters, where we hang out mostly!" Cassie extended her hand out like a saleswoman showing a family around a house they're looking for as Kara let out an audible but quiet gasp of surprise.

"Wow... The TV is huge!" her eyes focused on the TV, where Y/N stood with Glace beside him. "Hi!" she waved. The Guardian waved back with a smile.

"The Kitchen is just right there, tables are in that room and finally, there's the couch in front of the big TV we have" Cassie pointed in each direction stated as Kara floated over to the couch.

"It's so comfy" she felt almost right at home when she sat down on it. "I'm gonna like it here, when I've decided if I want to be full time, part time or not" she gave Cassie a smile who in turn sat down opposite of Tim.

"Consider this the first stage of your try-out for the Teen Titans!" Cassie replied. "And, you'll be getting one of these soon as well" she brought out a T-shaped device, which in retrospect was a mobile phone called the T-Phone, all members of the Titans have one each which is used for emergencies and calls between members.

"Cool!" Supergirl smiled brightly again. "Good thing I have extra pocket satchels on the belt of my skirt".

The two girls giggled shortly after as Rose rolled her eyes underneath her mask, shaking her head also as the giggles soon died down between the two blonde girls.

"Wanna sit here with me, Y/N?" Kara offered, patting down the seat beside her as he thought about it for a moment.

"So you can tackle me into a hug and not let go?" he asked with a growing smirk, Kara's cheeks lightly turned pink before she shrugged with a mischief look. He thought long and hard before coming to his final answer. "Sure, why not?" he smiled, bringing himself over as Rose rolled her eyes at the two as the others watched.

"I don't get it, how come you and Super-Princess here be best friends, and you say stuff like this? Makes me think you both are dating for real" Rose pondered loudly what she thought about the two together, which seemed to make Kara's face go red out of embarrassment but also acted somewhat sheepish at the same time, looking away from Y/N for a moment as everyone else in the room looked at Rose with shocked glances. "What?".

"We're not.... Dating" Y/N scratched the back of his neck, though covered by the armor he wore. "We're friends, nothing more" every time Y/N had said this, something in Kara made her heart sink, she didn't know why it does it but it would every time he denied them being a thing together.

"Rose... I think you've irritated him" M'gann sensed irritation from the Guardian, but sensed shyness from the Girl of Steel, confirming the girl was clearly distressed with embarrassment.

"You have no idea how many speculated about us two" Y/N sighed with annoyance.

"{Trust me when I say this... I know}" the Martian girl spoke within the Guardian's head, without even moving her lips which almost freaked out the Space Cowboy, taking a few steps back.

"And you can speak in people's heads... That's creepy" he seemed audibly spooked which M'gann felt remorseful for, he however shut her apology down, knowing she meant no harm. "Might wanna keep that away from the Drifter" he referenced to himself, hoping to remind her later if she ever meets him.

"She spoke in your head?" Tim asked as Y/N nodded. "It's why I wanted her on the team, M'gann's brave and smart, but she can be shy".

"And she's kinda like me in a way?" Kara asked as she looked at the Martian who seemed happy to answer the Kryptonian's question.

"Only difference is the Martian telepathy and all that, pretty much all what Martian Manhunter can do" she answered happily.

"I would kill to read minds... Though I might use it irresponsibly" Supergirl pondered. "So um... You're M'gann M'orzz right? Miss Martian?" she offered her hand.

"Yeah! Hi, we haven't been introduced yet, forgot about that" the Martian awkwardly chuckled, shaking the Girl of Steel's hand as Y/N sat next to Kara.

"Well you already know me so I don't really think there needs to be an introduction, but I do know you, Rose Wilson, Ravager, Daughter of Deathstroke" she turned to face Rose who smirked.

"Someone's done their homework" she sneered. "Seems you're as smart as you dress, though you dress like a cheerleader with a midriff shirt and skirt".

"Nothin' wrong with that" Cassie defended Kara's clothing decision for her suit. "At least she's not wearing the short skirts like most girls wear" she crossed her arms while looking directly at Rose.

"It's actually a skort, thank you very much" Kara flipped a sassy comment back at Rose. "Maybe you should do some research on the difference between a skirt and a skort" she smirked.

"I think I might like you on this team..." Rose gave her a smile before it disappeared. "Super-Brat" she whispered to herself.

"I heard that" Kara kept her smirk, ignoring the insult. Rose already looked a little agitated enough, knowing there's two girls in the room that have Super-Hearing.

"My Ghost heard it too, you better not call her that again" Y/N gave a passive-aggressive threat, after Glace snitched her out to him.

"Alright, Rose. No need to try wind up the new girl on the team" Tim intervened. "And though you're not a Titan, Y/N... Please don't threaten a member of the Teen Titans" Tim warned.

"Fair enough, I'm just saying" Y/N shrugged as Kara elbowed him gently.

"It's okay, you didn't have to stick up for me back there" she spoke softly. "But thank you anyway" she still kept her smile on her face.

"Hey, it's no problem. I'll always-" 

"Hey! Guardian! You there?!" Nightwing's voice suddenly blasted through his private comms channel, which played through Glace and also him through his private comms channel. "We've got news regarding on what we were gonna look into for you".

"Was that Nightwing?" Rose's ears perked up, hearing her mentor speak through Zain's Ghost.

"Sorry, uh... Hang on" Y/N stood up from the couch to take the call, Glace soon disappeared out of sight in a flash of shimmering light. "I'm here... This better be good" he prayed to the Traveler that it was good news...

"Well... In a way? Yes? Nightwing answered. "So we discovered a source of what may have killed Aya and her Ghost, Yhonder. We did manage to decode some of the static that came from the message alone and uh... Well... You might wanna hear it for yourself when you get back here" Nightwing continued as Y/N showed a peer look of annoyance.

"Just tell me what it is..." he demanded... Not bracing himself what was going to be said next.

Both Supergirl and Miss Martian sensed a dread of horror and a spike in his heartrate, a sudden shock went through his body as both looked very concerned for why he suddenly reacted like the way they saw in his body.

"I..." he wasn't sure how to react to the information... Even Glace felt speechless. "How is... No... No, how did they-?"

"That's not all however, scanners detected another Light energy source, potent just like the one we found within Aya and Yhonder... It might be another Guardian" he gave the Guardian more news than he bargained for, shocking him even more as he looked like he'd seen a ghost. "We're heading to the sight where this Guardian could be, expect to see you there with us, giving you coordinates to your Ghost now".

"I-I'll be there..." he still sounded shocked, flabbergasted and in horror, he never thought he'd hear what had killed Aya and Yhonder in the first place... And now they're here... On New Earth. "Wait till I get there too".

"We'll do that, Nightwing out".

Y/N turned around, almost pale as a concerned Supergirl approached him, noticing his face straightaway, all the others looked too and had the same reaction as Kara... Concerned and wondering why such the look?

"Y/N? What's wrong?" Kara shook him out of his thoughts as he blankly stared at her before blinking a few times.

"They found another Guardian, or at least a Light source that resembles a Guardian" he softly told her, seemingly calming down but the look on his face certainly wasn't calm at all.

"That's not all" Kara took notice of him walking away from her, about to transmat out of the Titans Tower before she grabbed his attention again, by holding his hand. "There's something else, I can tell by the look on your face... And I've never seen that look before on your face" she pointed out, all while everyone looking at him for clarification.

He quietly sighed before looking back at her. "I never thought they'd get here sooner... But they have... And I won't let them destroy more lives here" he vowed with a sense of hate and vigor to his words. "Good look on the tryout for the Titans, I'll contact you soon" he nodded before Kara let go of his hand.

"Good luck" she simply said before a small smile left him as he transmatted out. "You're gonna need it, both of you" Kara added on.

"Okay... Why did he look like he shat himself?" Rose asked with concern as she got stares from everybody. "What? Why the looks?".

"Kara?" Cassie showed concern, the Kryptonian knew they all wanted to know what just happened.

"Judging by his body was reacting?" M'gann chimed in. "I don't suppose it was good" she stated the obvious. "And he was... Angry yet... Scared in a way".

"I think I know what he was referring to" Kara finally answered. "There was one thing Y/N told me that he hated the most... And he described them as evil and ravenous worshippers of death, which they have stoked many tragedies on humanity, and most of his friends died from them" Supergirl explained in most of his exact words.

"Who is he referring to?" Tim asked, wanting to know the answer already.

Supergirl turned to them, opening her mouth to give her answer on what caused him to react in such a way...

"He calls them... The Hive"...

A/N: Wow... Another enemy race has been revealed to be on New Earth! Dun, Dun, Dun! Seriously though, the Hive are truly a big problem the characters have to deal with, especially when it comes to anything Hive magic based, they're a menace to society... And the world.
