Thirteen: New Stuff
I'm liking the look of your characters so far :) Remember, if your character is not picked, she will still be used in a different scenario :) However this does mean she will have different powers and a different hero name, and posibly a different story. I do have some good ideas for them though :D

I watched intently as M'gann rolled the cookie dough into a ball, place it on the tray and flattened it with a fork.
“You understand?” She asked me with a smile.
“I uh…I think?” I said, and grabbed some dough. I rolled it into a ball I hoped was acceptable and placed it on the tray. Then I flattened with a fork, and it match M'gann’s.
“I did it!” I cheered. M'gann laughed and patted my head. I smiled and continued to help her. Grab, roll, place, flatten. Grab, roll, place, flatten.
Eventually we had two trays of well shaped uncooked cookies. M'gann placed them in the oven,
and told me she’d call when they were ready.
My gaze drifted to Superboy, who sat on the lounge watching TV with Orion beside him.
“Um…Superboy?” I began quietly, moving around the bench to sit on the stool. He turned the TV off, and twisted around, looking at me. Angrily.
“In the Tower of Fate. What was that? You sung. It was like a spell. And then I heard you and the lanterns talking a few days ago. About Witch Boy. Who are you exactly?” He growled.
“Me! I-I mean…I am me. My name is Hanabrie Shiloh. I am 14 and I am the Emerald Star. I love shoes and I hate water. You have to understand. Casting spells like that is a last resort for me. If I hadn’t we would have turned to ash.”
He considered this, and so I left it at that, walking down the hallway. Instead of going into the living quarters, I went down a hall I had never been in.
There was one door there. I pushed it open and became overwhelmed with excitement; a library.
How did I not know this was here!? It was huge! Two walls were bookcases filled with books, another was a huge white screen with a projector, and the other had a huge fire place.
There were three tables with chair around them in the room. Orion, in cat form, walked around my legs, anticipating how I was going to react.
I decided to see if the fireplace would go. I walked up to it and noticed there was a button. Being a curious fourteen year old, I reached out and pressed it.
A fire roared to life. Batman takes the fun out of everything.
I then turned to the books, and walked across the first case. They were on the mysteries of the universe, and some science junk.
A few cases later, I had found what I had hoped for. Books on medical studies. I grabbed out the good looking ones, and carried them to the rug in front of the fireplace.
I sat down and opened them and began reading. Orion curled up beside me, and at some point, M'gannbrought me cookies and apple juice.
You see, when I read, I get into this mode where I block the world out. Once, before I joined the team, Carrol brought me the Harry Potter series.
I blocked her, and everything out for the whole day, and finished the fifth book when I came back to reality.
So, when I finished reading the fourth medical book, I wasn’t surprised to wake up to a cold fireplace and an annoyed team watching me.
“What were you doing? You’ve been sitting her four six hours straight, reading,” Artemis said while Aqualad gave me a hand up.
“It’s a habit, but my medical knowledge is even wider now.”
The team were here for training. Scarily enough, I was pitted against Aqualad. Let's just say, it didn't go very well. Even though Aqualad is nice, he has some mean moves.
So I watched M'gann and Artemis fight, nursing a very bruised arm, trying to console a frantically apologising Aqualad.
"It's fine Kaldur," I kept saying. Though I think I had nerve damage at the end of my elbow.
Robin began walking to me and I smiled at him. "So..." He began, grabbing the back of his head. Ot was so cute, he looked nervous.
"So?" I encouraged.
"In Gotham next week, there's a fair. I was wondering, if you're not to busy. Did you want to come...with me?"
I resisted the urge to ask if it was a date, instead, I looked up at him and smiled. "Sure, when is it?"
"10th of September."
"Okay," I smiled, and turned towards the training floor. Everyone had stopped whatever they were doing and were now looking at Robin and I with smirks.
I glared at Artemis in particular, who wiggled her eyebrows around suggestively. Black Canary seemed to realise no one wanted to train anymore.
"Hit the showers and come back. You have a mission briefing." Whoo! Another mission! I decided to skip my shower since I didn't work up a sweat getting my butt kicked.
I went into the kitchen to get some apple juice, and Dick sat at the stool.
"I uh, I got something for you. Well, Batman said you should have it because you're our medical officer."
He handed me a white box. I smiled and placed it on the bench, pulling the lid off. Inside was silver contraption. Lifting it out, I realised it went on my arm.
Dick got up and came around to me, and helped me put in on. He pressed the black button, and a green hologram screen came up.
"It's like yours!" I realised.
"Yeah, but I programmed yours to be your favourite colour," he said.
I smiled at him. He smiled back.
"You two really can't leave each other alone can you?" Wally said from the sofa.
"How long have you been there?"
"Long enough."
Dick went on to explain how to use the wrist computer. One setting was a map and GPS, another was the team and League's medical files, another was for me to enter information and reminders, the fourth was for medical purposes like emergency scanning of vitals and the last one was a web search that needed wifi.
"This is so cool!" I gushed. Before I could stop myself, I threw my arms around Dick's neck. It was instantly awkward, however he returned my hug. Without looking at him I practically sped away.
