Levy's POV
It had been seven days since Natsu and his team had been captured, also Lucy had gone missing. She hadn't returned and no one could find her anywhere. Levy had checked her apartment everyday, but there was still no sign of her. So instead of going straight to the guild, she walked to Lucy's. But as normal she wasn't there. With a heavy heart Levy locked up and walked to the guild.
As she was passing a forest, something caught her eye. There were a bunch of trees knocked down, deep in the thick. That wasn't like that a week ago. Not really knowing what she was doing she headed towards the clearing. As she approached she saw that the grass was semi flattened to the ground, but after time some blades were sticking up. Also in the very center of the grass patch lay Lucy.
"Lu-chan!" Levy called as she ran to her best friend.
Lucy was lying on her side asleep or unconscious, it looked like she hadn't moved for days, dirt and tear marks covered her face. Her clothes were tattered and worn.
What had happened here? She thought.
Levy picked up Lucy and placed heron her back, piggy-back style. She ran to the guild, it wasn't far, but with the extra weight it felt like forever.
I burst through the doors, everyone starring at me, I never like to make a big show of myself.
"I found Lucy!" She yelled, the cheered. But not when they saw her asleep on her back.
Mira ran over and took her from her tired arms and carried her to the infirmary.
"What happened to her?" Jet asked.
"I don't know, I found her in a clearing in the forest." She shook her head.
This whole situation had her worried, what was in store for them in the future and why were they just taking dragon slayers?
Natsu's POV
I was slumped in my cell, just I was every other day. How could they just keep us here like this? I lost track of the days, but I knew it was too many to be away, or just stuck in here. I had no energy left, my whole body felt drained, though I still had full magic my physical body had none. I was hungry and not just a little mumble in the tummy, my whole body ached every move I made was a huge effort. The food they gave was terrible, moldy bread and some kind of slop they called "soup".
I just starred out the window, the only source of light in my life, then Lucy. She was my light in the dark, all I had to do was picture her smile and the darkness didn't seem so bad. As long as she was safe and I could remember her, that was all I needed.
A bang on the metal door sounded threw the tiny cell.
"Hey, time to go. Get up."
There was jingling of keys and the door swung open, inside the door way was a Klyde. He had a grin plastered on his face, lifting me up I stood weakly. He dragged me out of the cell and into a huge room, there was a huge machine with a big metal circle in the center. On the sides were compartments for at least twenty people. I saw Gajeel and Wendy already strapped to it. They placed me in the of the compartments next to Wendy and set the restraints around my wrists and ankles.
"What is this thing?" I gaped.
Klyde just chuckled, and left. Soon more and more people were brought and placed into the compartments like us. Most I didn't know, but I did recognize Sting and Rouge. Were these people all dragon slayers too?! I didn't know there were so many of us! Then they stopped, with one compartment still empty.
"Klyde, why is that one empty?" Aaron asked.
"Oh, that useless dragon never got herself a foster kid. She was too lazy to teach an apprentice." He mocked.
Klyde, Aaron and Kai all walked to some sort of control booth and started pushing buttons, I heard the machine behind me come to life. Then he came and stepped in front of all of us.
"You are all probably wondering why you are here, the Master has already told you our master plan, but this is how it works." He paused. "This is a machine that will create a portal to any different world for example Endolas. But in order for it to work we many people with that type of magic to open that world. Not the world where all your pretty parents are, this one is the darker side of town, they are not as nice as them. That is what you are here for, also it is a bonus because you will not be able to stop them!"
I clenched my fists, but barely had the strength to do so.
"So goodnight, petty dragon slayers." He wiggled his fingers, just then Kai turned on the Machine it hummed as I could feel all my magic energy leaving me. I tried to resist, but it was sucking it out of me by force. Pain filled my already aching body, it was excruciating! This was the most intense pain I had even endured from a machine before. I arched my back and let out a low howl, in between my pain I could hear Wendy's and Gajeel's screams as well and those of all the other dragon slayers.
This went on for hours, centuries. It was endless, terrible pain. Until everything stopped, I hung my head, no strength left to hold it up. All my magic was gone, I was completely useless. Breathing heavily I heard swirling, like a vortex or tornado. Looking slightly to the side I saw the the big metal ring had clouds spinning inside of it and slowly out came the head of a dragon.
