Inferno tried to pay attention in class, but he was too fascinated by the other dragons to pay attention. The scales and the different patterns on them just kept getting his attention. The faint shimmers of lights on the deep blue scales, the purple clouding the black on the Nightwing, and the occasional glint of sunlight on the light brown Mudwing.

"Ok, so the class is to an end, and next you guys have Winglet time," Starflight announced behind his desk,

"What time? Sapphire asked as Fatespeaker got up,

"It's when you guys, as a winglet, do something, it can be anything but you guys have to have fun and be together." Fatespeaker replied enthusiastically, "I think this week's topic is on the SandWing succession war and what they could have done to prevent or shorten the war."

"So we really have to spend time together?" Storm asked as he got up and weaved in between scroll racks until he could see Fatespeaker,

"And get to know each other, you all have to know something different that they didn't share in class by tomorrow, which should be easy, especially for Maple,". Storm looked skeptically at Maple and she shrugged her wings,

"But-

Bong Bong Bong

The three bells rang and echoed in Infernos head, as Stargazer's head shot up from the scroll he was using 'Things about Rainwings' Inferno read as Stargazer walked up to the desk and tapped his talons lightly on the desk, "Can you save this scroll for me and finish it tomorrow?" he asked as Starflight looked up and nodded,

"So as I was saying, all you guys have to do for the next hour is do something together and learn about each other." Storm walked over to Fatespeaker and protested, "Do I really have to be with them for an hour, I mean, why? I have my own things to do," Fatespeaker walked right in front of him, only leaving inches from each other.

"Storm, if you are going to be in the same classes with these people then you need to learn how to get along with each other," Storm immediately backed down, Fatespeaker was small but she could be fierce.

"Fine, just don't expect me to like it," he mumbled as he walked away. Sapphire and Lotus were already talking by the entrance. And so, the second period started and everyone walked out of the library, silence echoing their footsteps.

"So, what do you guys want to do?" Stargazer asked as they stopped at the entrance to the school, watching the clear blue sky Stargazer turned his attention to the others,

"Can we do some hunting? I'm kind of hungry and Clay's group shouldn't come back till the last bell." replied Maple,

"Yeah, sure where though, forest lake or mountain. We might not want to go to the mountain since Clay's group was there already." Sapphire said as Storm and Lotus caught up.

"No offense, but you guys will get caught up in so many vines and everything once we go into the rainforest, It took our best travelers a year to master flying with all the vines. You guys aren't suited for it." she said as she earned a stern glance from Storm and Scorpion.

"Well I know a few good hunting spots nearish to my home but you must promise not to tell anyone," Inferno informed, Why am I doing this, well there is no turning back now, All of the dragonets looked at him with suspicious faces, except for two of them, Lotus had a confused look and Maple was just plain happy. But unsurprisingly Storm just snorted, whatever that means.

"So, we all in agreement?" asked Maple, as she started to walk toward the entrance, Scorpion right on her tail.

"I guess that's a yes, so lead the way Inferno!" said Sapphire as she sped past Maple, "Hurry up guys!" you could hear her yell as she flew past, only leaving a gust of wind behind her. Soon followed and Lotus, racing against the sudden gust of wind.

"Wait for me!" screamed Stargazer as he flew after his winglet, beating his wings as he passed Storm, but his eyes were dazed soon as he flew by Storm, "Smoke-breather, night-haunter," Stargazer beat his wings faster with the current, speeding past him with a new surge of fear. Inferno was only a bit behind Storm, but stopped as soon as he heard, 

"Freak"

Inferno only watched as he heard the whisper, he had always remembered this, 'Freak, you stupid Skywing, never enough, you'll kill everyone you love just by touching them' these words rang in his head as memories rushed to his head. He got dizzy and he started to feel heat rise in his chest as he put his arm out to the cold wall

"Inferno!" Maple flew back with Scorpion in front, "You ok, let's go!". Scorpion ran back to the rest of the group and started to chat with Stargazer, but noticed him start to back away so he kept the conversation to his liking, and when Inferno got over they were talking about theories about scrolls for Starflight. But Storm turned to Inferno as the heat swamped by making him flinch. 

But weirdly enough his nerves were calm, and he didn't feel hot anymore, he knew where the ground was and didn't need to feel scared. What I need to do is be vigilant, I don't know Them they could do anything.  But no matter how hard he tried he couldn't be worried about these nice people, Nice, ew

But what he was most surprised by was his warm welcome from everyone.

But his heart rushed as they flew for one of the first times, he didn't feel alone in this dark world. 

Maybe I will stay there for more than two weeks
