Lusamine's POV

      I ran through the city streets and was absolutely amazed by my surroundings. I had never seen anything like this before and I was honestly happy.

I couldn't be any happier. I was safe with my family, Lillian's friends look like they have forgiven me for any trouble I have caused them, all of her friends surprisingly seem to like and want to help me any way they can, Garret seemed like he would be a great caretaker, I lived in a beautiful city now, Lillie liked me right off the bat, and Gladion was happy to have me home.

      I felt bad for sneaking out against Lillian's wishes. Once I was finished packing for tomorrow Lillian went with Aracel to help shop for clothes for Cynthia since she has no real clothes of her own.

After I had heard what really happened to Cynthia I was more scared of Silas than ever now. He actually seemed dangerous. Aracel said that he was mean to her but never this mean. She had said that something didn't seem right.

      Aracel said that Silas would've been mean to me and say some pretty mean things but he wouldn't have ever purposefully bumped into me.

She said that his eyes looked redder than usual and that something seemed very off like he wasn't himself and I believed her.

My thoughts were interrupted when I saw a swana fly over my head. I had never seen one up close but I always wanted to catch one.

      I thought that Swana were beautiful and graceful. Then I all of a sudden I felt like I had backed up into someone and I fell onto the concrete road leaving bruises on my elbows and knees.

I turned around and saw the guy who I had backed into and he looked oddly familiar. He groaned and I ran over and tried to help him up off of the ground.

"I'm really sorry! I'm such a big clutz!" I

said sounding very embarrassed.

"well you better watch it Blondie!"

Shouted the guy.

     His voice sounded terribly familiar he turned around and looked at me with his dark red pinkish eyes. I looked up at him in fear. I

was staring into the eyes of my tormentor Silas Mikaleson. He gave me a sinister smile that made me cringe. I felt sick to my stomach now.

I felt absolutely awful. I felt dizzy and I could feel my heart pounding out of my chest and I'm pretty sure that he could hear it too.

I refused to cry no matter how scared I was. Aracel wasn't wrong about her brother, something just didn't seem very right.

It's as if he's in some sort of daze and that its not the real Silas talking to me its as if he's being controlled but I could just be going crazy, I am scared out of my wits after all. He then grabbed me by the hand and he pulled e closer to him.

"Hello dear Lusamine how are you doing today? Lovely weather outside isn't it?!"

He said with a sinister smile and a darker tone to his voice.

      I shuddered and I felt like my stomach was turned inside out. I'm alone with an absolute psychopath and I don't know what to do!

I wish Aracel was with me she would know what to do. Now I regret disobeying Garret who was only trying to protect me and Lillian who only wanted to guide me.

Now I felt horrible. They let me stay in their home and this is how I repay them? Now I wished I had stayed home and listened to Garret and Lillian who only wanted help me.

"Why are you alone my dear?"

He asked while tucking a strand of my shoulder length hair behind my ear.

I gulped and looked at him straight in his dark red eyes.

"I was just about to leave."

I said.

"And now you're not! You and I are going to chat!"

Said Silas tightly squeezing my wrist causing me to wince in pain.

"Come on you little runt the more difficult you make this the more angrier I'll get and you don't want to see my angry do you Lusamine?"

He asked in a sly tone.

"Fine we'll talk but then will you let me go?"

I asked while on the brink of tears.

"Of course I won't keep you for long we just need to chat."

Said Silas.

    I nodded and he yanked on my wrist and took me into a secluded and dark alley where no one could see us.

I knew that he probably wasn't a bad person deep down just angry and confused much like his uncle Guzma and just like I once was back in the Aether Paradise with my mother who was possessed by the Ultra beast Nihilego.

I knew that he was being controlled by someone. I knew that whoever was controlling him wanted to ruin Cynthia.

I wanted to tell Paul and Lillian about it since they're both famous detectives. I felt bad for Silas and wanted to help him before it's too late.

"Silas who ever is controlling you I can get you help. Just please let me help you! I know you hate me and don't trust me. In fact I wouldn't blame you. I wouldn't trust me either but listen please?! I only want to help you and I mean that! Your sister loves you! You may not love her and she may not like you but she doesn't hate you! She just wants things to be normal between you two. She only wants to help you. Your other siblings may not be so nice to you and they may be apart of evil teams but Aracel is the nay one of your siblings that cares about you and maybe another one of your siblings that I don't know about but I know for a fact that she cares about you and only wants the best for you! Believe me when I say it!"

I pleaded.

    He looked at me with sympathy but then his eyes went back to their cold and dark demeanor.

Silas sneered at me and squeezed my wrist even harder ten he slapped me across the cheek like my mother had back in ultra space when she was under Colress's complete control.

"You don't know a thing about me! But I know a lot about you! I know that you're father is a total fake and hat he lied to your mother, I know that he faked his death and he had Colress helping him, I know that he's the boss of Team Shadow, I know that you're pathetic and naïve and stupid nd that your mother had every right to keep you locked up in the Aether paradise, I know that I feel sorry for your mother who thought that her husband loved but in reality he only cared about power and went crazy while he researched the ultra beasts, I know that never loved you, your siblings or your mother, I know that he's just like the leader of Team Amethyst, cold cruel and destructive, I know that he would probably kill you if he found out that you were the one who sent his trusted partner Colress into the depths of the under world, and I know that you're a pathetic little runt who just should've stayed back at the paradise where you belong! Your mother was absolutely right to keep you locked up because you are stupid! You actually thought there was still good in me? How pathetic and naïve are you?! I'm the son of Cyrus for crying out loud! why on earth would you want to help me?! I've been nothing but horrible to you! This isn't a fairytale where the villain becomes a good guy and they all live happily ever after! Oh please only children believe that!"

Shouted Silas.

"look. Listen to me please Aracel still thinks that you're good and I do too. I believe her! Keep saying all these that you want I'm still not going to change my mind! Please let me help you?!"

I begged.

      Silas looked infuriated and he pushed me into a mud puddle and I was covered head to toe in mud. Tears began to stream down my face and I felt embarrassed. I was foolish to think that I could help him.

"You're so stupid Lusamine. You this is actually quite fitting for you! I mean you look so pathetic covered in all that mud! This is just perfect! I absolutely love this!"

Shouted Silas while laughing at me.

"Why do you hate me?! I'm only trying to help you?!"

I shouted.

"Because your father ruined me and you're probably just like him! A liar and a fraud! You know just like you he said he would help me and then he tricked me just liked that before I could even blink he had betrayed me and you're no different than him!"

Shouted Silas.

"I don't know hat my father did to you but I can help you! I can tell that you have been poisoned by the ultra beasts! I can tell! I know what Nihelgo's venom does to a person I've seen it first hand just please let me help you?!"

I begged.

"You're useless Lusamine! You're absolutely foolish if you think that I would trust someone like you!" He shouted slapping me again. Then I heard someone running towards Silas and it was Aracel.

"THAT'S ENOUGH SILAS!!!!!!"

She shouted.

     I could see the rage and sadness in Aracel's eyes and I began to cry and Aracel looked at me sadly and helped me up out of the mud.

"Lusamine are you okay?"

She asked.

"No Silas is being controlled by Nihilego I can tell! You have to help him!"

I said while in tears.

"You can go after me all you want but yup need to leave my friends out of this!"

Shouted Aracel at Silas.

"Oh please why are you friends with her?! You hated her mother and her Father's a psychopath! She's no different than them! Why are you friends with this little runt?!"

Shouted Silas.

"Silas you're not in your right frame of mind. I know you don't mean any of this! Look! Lusamine isn't like her father! She cares about people and Pokemon and she cares about you too no matter how badly you treated her!"

Shouted Aracel.

"Please you're both pathetic! I've never sent anything so pathetic in my life!" Shouted Silas laughing at Aracel and I.

"REALLY WHY DON'T YOU TRY A MIRROR SILAS?!" I turned around to see Lillian, Rj, Calem, Serena, Ash, Gladion, Mina, Iona, Misty, and Lexie standing there behind her.

"Silas you better believe that if you don't leave her alone that you'll be dead understand me?!"

Shouted Iona.

"Why should I listen to an ex-Team Flare member?!"

Shouted Silas.

"THAT'S IT PRETTY BOY YOU'RE DEAD!!!!!!"

Shouted Iona.

Lillian tried holding Iona back from strangling Silas.

"Iona stop!"

Shouted Lillian.

"You better take back what you said to Aracel right now!"

Shouted Rj.

"Yeah you've got some nerve to talk talk to my friends like that!"

Shouted Misty.

"Or what?!" I'm not apologizing! And I shouldn't have to!"

Shouted Silas.

"Talk to my sister and my friend like that again and you'll seriously regret it!"

Shouted Gladion.

"I don't owe anyone an apology! Why should I?! After all I'm not wrong!"

Shouted Silas.

"You're dead wrong and you better believe it Silas!"

Shouted Lexie.

"Well I refuse to apologize!"

Said Silas.

"Well you're going to apologize because I'm going to challenge you to a battle and if I win you'll apologize to Aracel and to Lusamine! You'll apologize for pushing Lusamine in the mud and for saying those horrible things to her and for pushing her at the mall, today!"

Shouted Ash.

"Oh how Nobel of you Ash! And if I win you'll have to let me escort Serena to the dance."

Shouted Silas.

"That's not fair at all!"

I shouted.

"Yeah don't drag Serena into this!"

Shouted Mina.

"Quiet Lusamine! Deal or no deal Ash Ketchum?!"

Shouted Silas.

"Do it Ash! Aracel's my friend too and I Believe in you!"

Shouted Serena.

Ash blushed and smiled at Serena.

"okay its a deal Silas we'll each use one Pokemon and no substations are allowed how does that sound to you?!"

Said Ash.

"Short and sweet and it's quick to the point I love it. Lets take this battle to the park shall we?"

Asked Silas.

"Fine with me."

Said Ash firmly.

"Serena why would you this?"

I asked.

"Because you and Aracel both deserve an apology and I believe in Ash."

Said Serena.

"What if Ash loses?"

Asked Lexie.

"What do you mean if Ash loses?! I don't plan on losing I have too much at stake and I want to help my friends!"

Shouted Ash angrily.

"I like your spirit Ash! no wonder you won the alola league."

Said Silas.

"No time for flattery Silas! Gladion, Calem, Iona, and Aracel I want you to take lusamine home and get her cleaned up I'm going to settle this!"

Shouted Ash.

  Gladion nodded and he looked up at me.

"it'll be okay we'll get you cleaned up. Lets go home."

Said Gladion.

I nodded and Aracel, Gladion, Mina, and Iona took me home.

Ash's POV

I was standing on the battle field and Silas stood at the other end of the field.

"Okay I'll be the referee!"

Said Lillian.

"Thanks Lil!"

I said while giving her a thumbs up.

"So lets go over our deal again shall we? So if you win I'll apologize to Lusamine and to Aracel and I won't bother Lusamine ever again but if I win I'll be Serena's new escort! Is it a deal Ketchum?!"

Shouted Silas.

"Its a deal Silas."

I said firmly.

"Okay this will be a one on one battle between Ash Ketchum and Silas Mikaelson! Each trainer may use one Pokemon no substitutions are allowed! The battle will be over when either sides poke, on is unable to continue! So let the battle begin!"

Shouted Lillian.

"Okay my shining star it's it's show time!"

Shouted Silas.

     Out of the ultra ball came a shiny Milotic.

"Okay Greninja I choose you!" I shouted releasing my partner from his poke-ball.

"AWESOME GRENINJA'S BACK!!!!!"

Shouted Lillian in excitement.

"Oh so tis the famous Groening I've heard about an interesting choice indeed! Lets start things off shall we my darling partner now Milotic use Ice Beam!"

Shouted Silas.

"Dodge it Greninja and use nightslash."

I shouted.

"Incredible speed but Milotic is faster!"

Shouted Silas.

Ice Beam hit Greninja and Greninja got up and shook it off.

"Why is Greninja barely phased by the ice beam?"

Asked Lexie.

"Because Greninja's a water type and ice type moves aren't that affective on water types."

Said Rj.

"Then why did ash choose Greninja against Milotic wouldn't Pikachu have been a better choice?"

Asked Lexie.

"I think Ash is relying on Greninja'a power and speed. And Greninja is Ash's secret weapon."

Said Rj.

"What do you mean?"

Asked Lexie.

"You'll see a little later."

Said Serena.

"See Ash Milotic is stunning is it not?!"

Asked Silas.

"It's been trained well I'll give you that but it doesn't surpass Greninja and It's bond now use double team!"

I shouted.

"Milotic knock them all down by using surf!"

Shouted Silas.

Greninja's double team faded and he was hit by surf.

"See I told you Milotic's fast. You should just give up now! Milotic use Hyper Beam!"

Shouted Silas.

"This really bad greninja's already taken a lot of damage already this battle will be over if this Hyper Beam lands."

Said Mina.

"No! Ash and Greninja you can do it! I believe in you and Pikachu does too we all do!!!"

Shouted Serena.

"Yeah Ash get your head in game I know you can do better!!!"

Shouted Rj.

"Come on Ash focus look for Milotic's weak point every Pokemon has its limits now find Milotic's!!!!!!"

Shouted Misty.

I nodded and then I noticed something. Then I thought of an idea.

"You're wasting your precious time now Milotic finish this!!!!!"

Shouted Silas.

Milotic fired it's hyper beam attack straight at us.

"Greninja stop it with night slash!"

I shouted.

Then Milotic's hyper beam was stopped by night slash causing a loud of smoke to appear on the field.

"Now Greninja find Milotic's tail and hit it with cut!"

I shouted.

"Milotic block it with aqua tail!"

Shouted Silas.

Greninja was way too quick for Milotic and cut landed with a direct hit.

"Way to go Greninja!"

I shouted happily.

"Milotic use aqua tail to knock greninja out of the way!!!"

Shouted Silas.

Milotic tried to hit Greninja with its tail but it cried out in pain.

"What's wrong why won't you attack?!"

Shouted Silas.

"It's because Greninja's cut hurt Milotic's tail lowering its speed."

I said.

"Great move ash!"

Shouted Lexie.

"I'll admit you're a lot smarter than I initially thought but play time's over! Use Hyde pump!"

Shouted Silas.

"Greninja lets show him our true strength!"

I shouted.

Greninja nodded and then water began to surrounded Greninja and now the bond phenomenon had taken place.

"Yay its Ash Greninja!"

Shouted Misty.

"So that's Ash's secret weapon! Its amazing!"

Said Lexie.

"Oh their just getting warmed up this is the true power of Ash and Greninja's bond!"

Said Rj.

"What on earth is this?!"

Shouted Silas in shock.

"This is our true strength! Greninja finish this with water shuriken!!!!"

I shouted.

A powerful water shuriken hit Milotic with full force knocking it out instantly.

Silas stood there in shock that he had lost.

"Milotic is unable to battle which means that the victory goes to Ash and Greninja!!!"

Shouted Lillian.

"We won Greninja!!!!"

I shouted giving him a hug.

Silas sighed and walked towards his Milotic and crouched down to eye level with his partner.

"Milotic you were amazing now take a good rest."

Said Silas.

Silas walked over to me and sighed.

"Well Ash you and Greninja were great. You've definitely earned my respect. I'll keep my end of the bargain as promised. I won't bother Lusamine again and I'll give Aracel and Lusamine a proper apology as promised. I'm off now to fulfill my end of the bargain. I'll see you later I hope to battle you again sometime Ash. See you around."

Said Silas waving goodbye.

I looked at Greninja and we both just stood there in shock.

"Ash that was an amazing battle."

Said Lillian.

"Yeah you totally creamed that jerk!"

Said Lexie.

"Ash I knew you could do it!" Said Serena running over to give me a hug.

I smiled and hugged her back little did know that someone else was watching our battle that day.

Third Person POV

Jonathan stood there watching Ash and Serena. He smiled to himself and smiled at his partner a shiny umbreon. Jonathan ran his fingers through his black hair and smiled.

"Not bad kid... Not bad at all.... You'll do well in the battle brigade challenge. I hope you'll face us soon."

Said Jonathan while smiling to himself.

      Then he and his umreon headed back to their home up on the highest hill in the city.
