Lillian's POV

"You're kidding right?!"

I shouted at my uncle Looker.

"No I'm not kidding Lil we have another case!"

Said my uncle Looker while crossing his arms.

"We just got back from Alola and we already have another case?!"

I shouted in disbelief.

"Don't worry this case is very close to home at Hydra Draco's mansion. She has invited you, Paul, and your friends to stay at her mansion."

Said Looker.

"Hydra?! You mean the dragon type trainer that is apart of the elite four?!"

I asked in shock.

"Yes Lillian why are you so shocked?"

Asked Looker.

Lady Hydra was trainer who was skilled with dragon types. Her partner Salamence was just as ruthless and strong willed as its trainer.

"What's the case?"

I asked.

"Well Hydra's grandfather and head of the Draco family, Elijah, has received a threat. Elijah is on the verge of dying and he is leaving behind a will which has includes an enormous sum of money, and the mansion itself."

Said Looker.

"How interesting."

I said.

"I'm sorry to say that you'll have to cancel your data with Calem but Lady Hydra is hosting a ball in honor of her grandfather's 81st birthday and to be able to attend the ball you have to have a male escort so Calem can be your escort."

Said Looker.

"Yeah I guess so... We can already count on Paul, Mina, Silver and Gold coming since Paul never goes anywhere without those three. I'll have to keep a limit on who I bring though... So I'll just ask anyone if they want to go."

I said.

"Good Idea Lillian."

said looker.

"I'll go do that right now. Conway you're because you have to and please try not to creep anyone out please?"

I begged.

"I don't make any promises and what would you do without your only medical examiner?"

Said Conway while adjusting his glasses.

I sighed and walked upstairs from the basement into the living room.

I assumed that Paul knew about this and neglected to tell me. He does this very often.

As smart as Paul is he's also very forgetful but he seemed extremely stressed out today and had a lot of things on his mind so this case was probably the last thing on his mind.

I opened the door to basement and walked into the living room.

"Okay guys we have a case and lady hydra has invited Paul and I and of course a few friends to come and celebrate her uncle's 81st birthday. To attend everyone needs a an escort so every girl has to have a male escort. So who wants to go?!"

I said while smiling.

"I've been cooped up the house for a whole week I'll go anywhere if it's away from the house!"

Said Gladion.

"I've been invited and so has uncle Guzma since he's my uncle and a member of Coordelena's Battle Brigade. All of the battle Brigade Members were invited too. We got the invitations his morning and since Hudra is the member of the elite four of Coordeleena and she is Lance's little sister she's invited all of the champions and world champions to her house for this event. We only we get to stay the week at her Mansion. Hydra has notified Thania this morning. Since Thania is a member of Coordelena's elite four along with Hydrashe invited her and Calem as well. Hydra has even invited some of the world famous Coordinators to come. Olive was probably invited. Knowing your sister she is probably going. She likes these social parties and events."

Said Aracel.

"I was Invited too even though I'm a new champion. Gladion will you be my escort please?!"

Begged Selene.

Gladion blushed and smiled.

"Yeah of course I'll be your escort."

Said Gladion.

Selene smiled and Silvally looked excited.

"Silvally you have to be on your best behavior and no eating things that aren't food!"

Said Gladion.

"He shouldn't be doing that anyway even if it's at our house!"

Said Uncle Garret.

"Uncle Garret since your a member of the battle brigade you got an invite too right?"

Asked Gold.

"Yes and since you're my nephew you were invited too even Lillie and Lusamine were invited."

Said Uncle Garret.

"You did adopt them as your own kids."

Said Uncle Brandon.

"And who are you taking as your escort?"

Asked Uncle Garret.

"You know I'm not going I hate these kinds of things and I have to bring a date to attend and you know that I've been out of the game for twenty years."

Said Uncle Brandon.

"I know so have I... I haven't dated anyone since Gold was five."

Said Uncle Garret.

Uncle Garret took Gold under his wing when his Parents and Uncle Garret's wife Emily died in a fire.

They died when gold was only four so ever since Uncle Garret had taken care of Gold as if he were his own child.

I've known Gold's uncle since I was very little since Uncle Brandon and Garret were childhood friends and then they moved in next door to each other and then Emily and Garret had Gold around the same time that Brandon and Regina had Paul so those two were naturally childhood friends and I was born only a few months apart from both of them since we were both the same age so the three of us were really close.

Gold was like a little brother to me and Paul and I were always extremely close. Silver didn't come into the mix until about a year and a half ago.

Paul and Silver met while Paul was helping Looker on a case. At the time I wasn't helping Looker with his cases because I gave up on being a detective until about eight months ago when Amalie died which was the main reason why I became a detective again. I became a detective to bring justice to those who hurt and killed other people loved ones and to protect regions from evil leaders like Lysandre who were out to destroy the world.

Neo Team Rocket was our biggest threat to the world at the moment some they had the resources and the money to take over the world.

They were considered a huge threat and intended to protect Coordeleena from Neo Team Rocket's evil plans for world domination.

"Can I go Lillian please?!"

Said Dawn.

"Sure!"

I said.

"Gold you're going to be my escort!"

Said Dawn.

"I am?!"

I asked Gold.

Dawn nodded and Gold began to blush.

"It's settled then I'll be your escort!"

Said Gold.

"Paul I'm guessing Mina's going to be your date?"

I asked.

"We're not dating Lil I'm only escorting her to a dance!"

Said Paul.

"Whatever you say."

I said while smirking.

"I'll go since there will be some hot girls at the dance!"

Said Alec.

Rj rolled his eyes and sighed and Hazel face palmed.

"I'll go to protect the girls from Alec."

Said Rj while laughing.

"I'll go too!" Said Hazel.

"Misty since I'm going you're going too!"

Said Dawn.

"Noway! I'm not going and you an't make me!"

Said Misty.

"If you go I'll be your escort!"

Said Gary.

Misty. slightly blushed and smiled but then crossed her arms.

"Okay fine Gary you can be my escort!"

Said Misty.

"Paul I refuse to go you know that I agree parties and people and wearing tuxes!"

Said Silver.

"Silver this isn't negotiable! I need a body guard! you're going!"

Said Paul.

Silver rolled his eyes and began to pout.

"Hey Cynthia you need to go too since we're all going together as a family."

Said Guzma.

"Do I have too?!"

Said Cynthia.

"Yes you have to go! I'm not leaving you home alone! So we have to find you an escort!"

Said Guzma.

"That's easier said than done I don't know any guy who doesn't hate me."

Said Cynthia.

"Hey Silver since Cynthia doesn't have an escort and you don't have a partner why don't you take Cynthia?"

I said.

"I barely know her Lil!"

Said Silver.

"Can't you do this for one case?!"

I pleaded.

"Ugh fine!"

Said Silver.

"I don't want to go either."

Said Cynthia.

"Why do you not want to go?"

Said Silver.

"People hate me and I would prefer not to show my face on public!"

Said Cynthia.

"Luckily for you it's a mascaraed ball."

Said Thania.

"Really?!"

I asked happily.

"Yeah it is. Hydra just texted me the update."

Said Thania.

"See there's nothing to worry about."

Said Silver.

"Okay fine I'll go."

Said Cynthia.

Then I saw Luke walk up to Lusmaine and he smiled at her.

"So do you any me to be your escort?"

Asked Luke.

Lusamine turned a shade of red and smiled.

"Yes."

Said Cynthia.

"Lillie I assume you and Hayden are going together than?"

I asked.

Lillie nodded and and Hayden slightly blushed.

"Okay and Rj you and Hazel are going togethe right?"

I asked.

"Yes."

Said Hazel.

Rj smiled and turned red.

"Kanaii and I are going since we have to watch over our siblings and we are going together."

Said VG.

"That's great VG!"

I said.

"I don't need a babysitter!"

Shouted Rj.

"Me niether Kanaii!"

Shouted Mina at her big sister.

"I'm going because I want to protect you in case something happens and plus my computer havking skills might come in handy."

"Okay so... Alec and Conway do you guys have dates?"

I asked.

"Oh my gosh I don't have a date?!"

Shouted Alec.

"How could you of all people forget?!"

Shouted Rj.

"I don't have a date either!"

Said Conway.

"Lei would be Conway's date?"

I asked.

"I don't know..."

"Come on please?!"

I begged.

"Okay fine but only just this once."

Said Lei.

"WHAT ABOUT ME?!?!?!"

Shouted Alec.

"Olive needs an escort!"

I said.

"Noway! She likes me but I don't like her back!!!!"

Said Alec.

"Come on Alec please?!?!?!"

I begged.

"Fine...."

Said Alec.

"Okay so now Alain you need to ask Aracel to be your date."

I said.

Alain sighed. Alain walked over towards Aracel and smiled.

"Hey Aracel do you want to be my date?"

Asked Alain shyly.

"Sorry Alain but Siebold already asked me."

Said Aracel.

Alain looked like he wanted to punch someone in the face. I sighed and looked over at Aracel. Why can't Aracel just figure out that Alain likes her? I thought to my self why sighing.

"Hey Alain Lillian said that I have to go since this is my job and I don't have an escort. We're not dancing and we're not going to make this awkward you may be my friend but I don't like you in a romantic way."

Said Iona blatantly.

"Okay I'll be your escort."

Said Alain.

"Great."

I said while smiling.

At least Alain's escort will be a good friend and not someone he can't stand.

"So Serena I assume that Ash will be your escort."

I said causing her to blush.

"Well we're dating."

Said Ash grabbing Serena's hand.

Serena smiled and blushed.

"Lexie who's your escort?!"

I asked.

"I'm not going."

Said Lexie.

"You're going I need my best friend there!"

I said.

"You have Aracel and Serena."

Said Lexie.

"Please?!"

I begged then I gave her my Lilipup eyes.

"Fine!"

Said Lexie while sighing.

"Now I have to find an escort!"

Said Lexie.

"Barry will be your escort!"

Said Dawn.

"I will?!"

Asked Barry.

"Yes you will!!!"

I said.

Barry sighed and looked at Lexie.

"Okay fine."

Said Barry.

"Yay then it's all settled!!!"

I said while smiling.

"What's the plan now?"

Asked Gold.

"Now we have to pack. So here's the plan. We're leaving for Romine City tomorrow early in the morning. It'll be an eight hour trip by driving. There's a main road up by the forest at route 605 which is the exit so Reggie will be taking the guys in his van and Kanaii will be taking the girls in her van does that sound good to everyone?"

I asked.

"Yay a new city to explore!"

Said Lusmaine happily.

"Not by yourself!"

I said firmly.

"Agreed!"

Said Uncle Garret firmly.

"Why are you guys treating me like a child I'm eighteen years old!"

Shouted Lusamine.

"Because I'm Coordeleena you're still considered a minor!"

Said Uncle Garret firmly.

"I've been locked up in the Ather foundation my entire life! I just want to experience life for once! I want to know what it's like!"

Said Lusamine.

"Lusmaine you're very niave and you have no idea how dangerous it actually is out in the city by yourself! You need guidance and until you understand that you will not be going out by yourself! We're not going to discuss this any further Lusamine!"

Said Uncle Garret firmly.

"But-"

"Lusamine not another word!"

Shouted Uncle Garret.

Lusamine sighed.

"Come on let's help you pack."

I said.

She nodded and Mina walked back with me.

"Wait we're leaving and I literally just moved in with you guys!"

Said Lexie.

"I promise that we'll be back in a week."

I said.

Lexie sighed and we headed back to our room and Lillie was about to follow us when Greenie hopped out of her arms and headed towards the front door and went outside. Then Pikachu hopped off of ash's shoulder and began running after Greenie.

"Wait Pikachu come back!!!

Shouted Ash.

"Ash where are you going?!"

Shouted Serena.

"I'm going to get Greenie and Pikachu! I'll be right back!"

Said Ash running out the front door.

Ash's POV

"Wait up Greenie!"

I shouted.

I ran through the woods where Greenie and Pikachu. I ran into the woods and and down the dirt road. I finally caught up to Greenie and Pikachu and I scooped Greenie up in my arms.

"Gotcha!"

I said while grabbing Greenie.

Greenie wriggled out of my arms and jumped up and down in excitement.

"Greenie what is it?!"

I asked.

Then the bushes began to rustle. I stood in front of Greenie and was ready to defend Greenie from whatever was about to hop out of the bushes.

Then a Greninja came from out of the bushes. I sighed in relief and cursed at myself for being so stupid.

Then I looked at Greninja and then Greninja smiled at me. Then at that moment I had realized that this wasn't just any Greninja this was my Greninja that I had released a year ago.

"Hey buddy it's been a year... I missed you."

I said.

Greninja looked at me and held its hand out to me and he looked at me.

"Wait Greninja you want to come back to me?!"

I asked in shock.

Greninja nodded and smiled at me.

I quickly grabbed an ultra ball from my back.

"Okay here it goes! Go Pokeball!"

I shouted.

Greninja went inside the Pokeball and he was captured in three clear clicks.

"Wellcome home buddy."

I said while releasing Greninja from his new Pokeball.

Greens went up to me and gave me a big hug. I smiled and returned the hug.

Gladion wasn't the only one who had some one he cared about return to him I too had someone important return home to me as well.

My cherished partner had finally returned to me.

I smiled and Greenie hopped up and down in excitement for Greninja's return.

"You knew about this al along didn't you."

I said.

Greenie nodded and hopped on top of Hreninja's head. Pikahu hopped up on my shoulder and we all left to return to Paul's house.
