Iona's POV

I honestly hated the idea of have to get to place to place by Gandala but I guess this is how this region works I unfortunately for me I'm boat sick.

I stood there and I wasn't sure if I wanted to ask for help or not... I was the one who found Lillie.

I was in Kanto tracking down one of the head admins of Neo Team Rocket who hurt Lillie.

He had attacked my childhood friend Lillie. I saw him running away and she had hit her head pretty hard.

We were able to safely her to a hospital in Coordelina. I sat there in the hospital waiting anxiously for the results.

Luckily I was able to get ahold of Gladion even though we haven't seen each other in years I was kind of happy to see him.

When I was very little I used to have a small crush on him but not really anymore. I don't really have time for guys I'm always on the move.

I never have time to settle down. It's not like I have a permanent home either I stay in so many different hotels I can't even count and I like it that way.

Then I saw Gladion bursting through the doors of the hospital with the Sinnoh champion and Coordelina's new champion Lillian Duncan.

"Iona it's been too long."

Said Gladion.

"It sure has. I heard about Lusamine I'm very sorry Gladion."

I said.

"Lillie left me a message saying that she found the cure for Lusamine but who knows if Marcus will let's is give to her. I'm honestly starting to think that he wants her to die and I won't let that happen! She didn't deserve any of this you know... It was all Colress's fault."

Said Gladion.

"Whatever happened to him?"

I asked.

"He died. Let's just say he made a deal with Purge and it wasn't too pretty."

Said Gladion.

"Wow what an idiot."

I said.

"Yeah he sure was...."

Said Gladion.

Gladion's green eyes went cold and he looked over and stared at the wall.

"Gladion what's wrong?"

I asked.

"I can't lose Lusamine and Lillie! I'm worried that I might lose both of them!"

Shouted Gladion almost in tears.

"You won't lose them! Not if I can help it! Lillian's on the case right?"

I asked.

"Yeah she is."

Said Gladion.

"Then you have nothing to worry about."

I said.

"Are you Iona Nightshade?"

Asked Lillian.

"Yes I am."

"May I ask you a few questions about the attacker?"

I nodded and followed Lillian into a more private setting in the hospital.

"Where are we?"

I asked.

"In the Doctor's office. He let me use it so I could have a private place to interrogate suspects or to talk to witnesses privately."

She said.

I nodded and sat down on the small red sofa.

"The attacker was male right?"

She asked sitting down in the doctor's office chair.

"Yes."

I replied.

"Was he tall."

"Very tall."

"Was he muscular?"

"This man had legs for arms this guy was huge!"

I said.

"Are you positive you the saw the Neo Team Rocket symbol on the leather jacket?"

"I'm 100% positive that I did."

"Did he have brown hair?"

"Yes."

"I knew it was him."

Said Lillian noting something down in her notes.

"Who attacked Lillie?!"

I asked.

Lillian pulled a wanted poster.

"Was this the guy who attacked Lillie?"

Asked Lillian full of confidence pointing the man on the wanted poster.

My heart stopped. I knew that this man had attacked her.

"Yes that's him!!!"

I shouted.

"You're very lucky he didn't see you. He would've killed you. He doesn't like leaving witnesses alive."

Said Lillian.

I sat there in silence and looked up at the ceiling.

"Detective do you think that Lillie will be okay? She's one of my best friends."

I said.

"I think she will live a long and happy life. She's very lucky that she got away and that you were there to get her to the hospital."

Said Lillian.

"That's good."

I said sounding relived.

"Ms. Nightshade?"

"Yes?"

"Have you ever considered working for the police?"

Asked Lillian while adjusting her reading glasses.

"I'm not sure...."

I said.

"Well if you're interested in helping with Lusamine's case please give us a call."

Said Lillian handing me her card.

"I'll think about it."

I said.

I got up and and stood there and took a big breath. I made a promise to Gladion and I intended to keep it. I couldn't believe that I was about to do this....

"I'll help you."

I said.

Lillian smiled and put down her case files and took off her reading glasses.

"Good to hear Iona Wellcome to the Team."

She said with a smile.

I smiled back and nodded then a nurse came running in and she seemed like she was in a big hurry to get here.

"Ms. Duncan Lillie is awake but is confirmed to have Amnesia."

Said the nurse.

"AMNESIA?!"

I shouted.

"Iona please keep your cool. Sorry please continue."

Said Lillian.

"Well Lillie won't speak. Doctor Brock thinks it's due to shock from when she hit her head."

Said the nurse.

"Will she be able to speak over time?"

Asked Lillian.

"With time and therapy I think she'll be able to speak and she still recover but the process could take a year or more."

Said the nurse.

Lillian nodded and I sat there in shock.

Then the doctor walked in and walked towards the desk where Lillian sat.

"Lillian it's good to see you again."

Said the Doctor.

"It's always good to see you Brock. I see your proactive is doing very well here."

Said Lillian.

"It is and I see that you've definitely made yourself known as a renowned detective and Coordelena's champion congratulations."

Said Brock.

"Thank you. Is it okay if we go see Lillie please Brock."

Said Lillian.

"Are you two close friends of her's?"

Asked Brock.

"I'm solving her sister's case it's a long story but I'm a friend of her's and a very close friend of her brother's. His name is Gladion."

Said Lillian.

"And Lillie's a childhood friend of mine she's like my sister."

I said.

"Sure anything for an old friend."

Said Brock smiling at Lillian.

"Thanks Brock."

Said Lillian.

"Anytime Lillian."

Said Brock while smiling.

Brock lead us through the hall and lead us into Lillie's room.

Gladion's POV
Lillie stared blankly at me and looked confused.

"You probably don't remember me  but I'm your brother."

I said while gently grabbing her hand.

She nodded and and looked up in curiosity.

"Dad passed away about six months ago and Mom died just a month ago. It's just you, Lusamine and I. You left on a journey for Kanto. Our sister is very sick and you tried to find a cure. You did find one but you were attacked and you got your head lost your memory."

I said.

Lillie stared at me blankly. I knew that this wasn't going anywhere.

"Here this is Lisamine's."

I said handing her the family photo.

"This was our most recent family photo. This was taken about a year ago. Here's you, and that's Lusamine."

I said pointing to our big sister.

Lillie smiled and nodded but she looked confused.

"It's a long story about where she is but Lillian is working on the case. She's going to help us. Lillian's a friend of your's. This is my partner Silvally. You probably don't remember him. You gave me disks about a few months ago as a gift. Their called memories. They help Silvally change its typing. Does any of this sound family at all?"

I said showing her the disks.

She shook her head no.

I sighed and noticed her backpack and I grabbed the container that had the flower in it. Look this the cure for Lusamine that you found. It's called the Pecha flower."

I said holding it up.

Lillie looked at the flower and admired it's pink and purple pettals.

"Pretty isn't it. Hapu said she'd turn it into medicine and give it to Lusamine."

I said.

She nodded and smiled.

"Gold's uncle said that he would take us in and you get to come home with me after they release you from the hospital of course."

I said.

She smiled and nodded.

Then I saw gold and a man that looked similar to Gold but had sharper features and his eyes weren't yellow like Gold's but instead they were a light Hazel blue and his black hair was well kept and neat and he was wearing a black jacket a blue shirt and black slacks with dress shoes. He was dressed like he was going to work.

"This is my uncle Gerret."

Said Gold introducing us to his uncle.

I nodded and smiled.

"You must be Gladion and I'm assuming that that Lillie?"

Asked Gerret.

"Yes."

"Well it's nice to meet you both. I can see that you both seem responsible and well behaved. I have a feeling that we will get along well."

Said Gerret.

Gold pulled me aside and whispered in my ear.

"He's very strict but for the most part he's very nice and will help you with anything you need. He's also Looker's Partner."

Said Gold.

I nodded and pet my partner Silvally quietly.

"Are you working on my sister's case?"

I asked.

"Yes and Looker is doing everything he can."

Said Gerret.

I walked and gave him the flower.

"Is there any possible way that we could send this to Hapu so she can make the cure for my sister?"

I asked.

Gerret began to examine the flower closely.

"I'll see what we can do. Getting to Lusamine may not be easy but sending it to Hapu won't be a problem at all."

Said Gerret.

"But needs the medicine like pronto!"

I shouted.

"Gladion we'll try to get it to her. We'll see what Marcus does with it."

Said Gerret.

"What does he want from us?!"

I shouted.

"Gladion he wants power he wants to show that he has power and until we solve this case I'm afraid that Lusamine's fate is in Marcus's hands."

Said Gerret,

I stood there almost in tears.

"I can't just sit there and do nothing! I have to do something is there anything I can do!"

I shouted.

"You can take care of the little sister that you have for time being. She needs a lot of attention and she will require a lot of responsibility. You're her big brother so it woul naturally be your job to look after her."

Said Gerret.

I was on the brink of tears but I walked over to Lillie's bed and sat on it and she grabbed my hand and yanked on it.

"What is it do you want something?"

I asked.

She pointed to Silvally.

"You want to pet Silvally?"

She nodded.

"Silvally come here!"

Silvally came running over and he hopped on Lillie's bed and curled up in a little ball next to Lillie.

"Silvally you're too big get off of the bed!"

I said.

Silvally growled at me.

"Did you just growl at me?!"

I said.

Silvally sat there and refused to move.

"Silvally you're bigger than Lillie and you'll break the bed get off! You can sit by me!"

I said.

Silvally sighed and hopped off of the bed and he laid his head on the bed and Lillie gently pet his head. Silvally growled in contentment.

"Hey Gladion is it okay if I come in?"

I turned around to see someone I haven't seen in a long time. I saw Lillie's old friend Lucas Hayden and his partner Dewot.
