Lillian's POV

"Hey Ash it's been a while! Congrats on winning the the Alola League!"

I said while giving him a high five.

"Thanks! So how's your job as champion?"

Asked Ash.

"Pretty slow actaully no one has challenged me yet."

I said.

"You'll get challengers eventually."

Said Ash.

"So how are you and Serena?"

I asked causing Ash to blush.

"We're doing great. We're going on a date to Cilan's resteraunt."

Said Ash.

"Calem and I are too why don't we make it a double date."

I said.

"Okay!"

Said Ash.

I heard Aracel, Guzma, Thania, Cynthia, and Calem walk into the house and she set the presents down on the counter with the others.

I knew about Cynthia because Aracel called me before they got here to give me a heads up.

Cynthia looked a little rougher than from when I last saw her and her hair was much shorter and now reached to her chin unevenly.

Her clothes looked a little big in her and her black sneakers had holes in them.

"Hey guys!"

I said while waving at them.

Calem ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"I've missed you so much."

Said Calem.

"Yeah me too it feels like it's been more than a week!"

I said while kissing him on the cheek.

"Yeah it definitely felt like the week dragged on."

I said.

"Hey guys VG and Kanaii got the lights to work!"

Said Rj.

"Okay it's time for you all to be amazed!"

Said Rj hitting the button on the switch.

All the lights imidiently turned on around us.

"That's awesome!"

I said.

"Did you guys ever fix the cake?"

Asked Dawn.

"Well you see about that... I um..."

"Gold bought baking soda instead of flour so the Chocolate cake turned into brownies!"

Said Paul cutting Gold off.

"Why does this not surprise me?!"

Asked Mina while rolling her eyes.

"Hey guys what are we going to do about Lusamine are we going to have her standing here when Gladion walks in or should we have her come out later?"

Asked Hayden.

"I didn't think about that..."

Said Uncle Garret.

"We could wait and then have her come out when we're opening gifts."

Said Uncle Brandon.

"That's a good idea."

Said Reggie.

Lillie stood there with Lusamine. Lillie may not remember that Lusamine was her sister but I think Lillie liked Lusamine right off the bat because she hasn't left her side since she got here.

"What about me?"

Asked Selene.

"You need to be the one to answer the door when he and Alec get here."

Said Kanaii.

"That's such a good idea!"

Said May.

"Hey Lil can I help get Selene and Gladion together?"

Asked Rj.

"Okay sure!"

I said.

"I don't want any part in your meddling!"

Said Lexie with her arms crossed.

"I intend to find out who this mystery boy is!"

I said.

Lexie's faced turned a bright shade of red and then she looked away.

"You'll never know because I won't tell you!"

Said Lexie.

"She'll figure it out eventually."

Said Misty.

"She always does."

Said Paul while rolling his eyes.

"I'm still going to help you get a girlfriend!"

Said Gold.

"Yeah sure sure gold just keep telling yourself that."

Said Paul while rolling his eyes.

"Lillian it's been a while."

Said Alain walking towards me.

"Oh hey Alain!"

I said while giving him a high five.

"So ever since I've moved in Guzma has been acting really weird he even had Gladion stalk me."

Said Alain.

"When is Guzma not being weird?"

I said.

"Hey I heard that!"

Shouted Guzma.

"He isn't wrong."

Said Plumeria.

Guzma rolled his eyes at Plumeria.

I pulled Alain aside and whispered in his ear.

"Aracel looks good in that new black dress doesn't she?"

I asked causing him to blush.

"LILLIAN!!!! Stop meddling!!!"

Said Alain.

"What I'm not going to let you live alone for the rest of your life!"

I said.

Alain sighed and Aracel have him a small wave.

"Go talk to her."

I said.

"If I do will you leave me alone?"

Asked Alain.

Alain sighed and walked over to talk to Aracel.

I saw Cynthia sitting on the couch next to Thania. Then I saw Alain walking away from Aracel and I watched as he walked towards Iona.

"Um.... I've held onto this for a really long time.... I thought I might give it back to you..."

Said Alain handing Iona her earring.

"Wow my earring!"

Said Iona happily.

"I found it on the rug at Kukui's place."

Said Alain.

"Thanks for holding onto it for me!"

Said Iona.

"Yeah no problem."

Said Alain slightly blushing.

I sighed to myself.

"Don't tell me he likes two girls... This is going to make my job a lot harder."

I said under my breath.

Then I saw Rj walk towards Hazel and he handed her what looked like a yellow flower. It was a yellow rose.

"I thought you would like it since yellow is your favorite color and you like yellow."

Said Rj while turning red.

"Did he seriously just give her a friendship rose?"

Asked VG while sighing.

"Come on VG I think it's cute."

I said.

Hazel turned a light shade of pink and took the flower out of his hand.

"It's beautiful Rj thank you."

Said Hazel.

I nodded in approval and VG sighed.

I saw Amber talking with her two best friends Barry and Lucas. Barry looked like he was in a hurry but when is he not in a hurry?!

Misty and Gary looked like they were enjoying each other's company.

"Now I know Misty's crush."

I said while giggling to myself.

I saw Iona talking with Hayden and Lillie. Lillie and Hayden seemed very close and I've been wanting to get them together for quite sometime.

I saw Gold talking with Dawn and then I saw Dawn laughing at Gold's jokes. I knew that those two have liked each other for a while.

However while everyone else seemed to be getting along is as Paul and Mina in the corner arguing. Those two have a fights about silly stuff but this seemed serious.

"Why didn't you tell me about this?!"

Shouted Paul.

"Because you'd act like this! You freak out about every little thing!"

"I'm only trying to protect you and you clearly don't seem to need my help since you didn't even bother tell me that you thought you saw Attila!"

"Look Paul can we talk about this later?!"

"No let's talk about it right now!"

"You're not going to let this ruin Gladion's party! Just let it go Paul I'm safe!"

"Wheat if Attila comes back for you?! I can't let that happen again!"

Shouted Paul while storming off.

"Paul wait!"

Shouted Mina.

"Just let him cool off for a while... He'll be fine just give him twenty minutes."

I said.

Mina sighed and joined me back in the living room with everyone else. I looked over at VG and Kanaii and their two seemed to hit it off. I knew that VG would like her.

I looked over and saw Conway talking to Gary and Drew was standing next May while he held her hand.

Silver was standing there by himself but silver was just a lone wolf but I wanted to try to find a girl to set him up with however I haven't had any luck.

Then we saw Alec and Gladion approach the front door.

"Okay everyone take your places!"

I said.

Uncle Garret took Lusamine into the hallway and Selene walked towards the door.

Gladion's POV
"Seriously Alec! Why did you have to flirt with the girl at the super market we could've gotten home before Silvally ate an entire head of cheese!"

I shouted in frustration.

I heard Silvally burp and I rolled my eyes.

"Hey at least he ate food this time instead of the couch."

"But guess who had to pay for the entire thing! Me! This has been a really crappy week!"

I shouted.

I was about to open the door but the nob turned in my hand and the door opened and Selene was standing in the door way.

"Happy birthday Gladion!"

Shouted Selene as she threw her arms around me and gave me a big hug.

I was literally too shocked for words. I can't believe I had forgotten my own birthday and that Selene was here.

I was still shocked but I returned the hug anyway. Then she let go and I turned around and saw Alec smirking.

"You knew about this all along didn't you?!"

I asked.

"Yep!"

Said Alec while smiling.

"Come inside!"

Said Selene grabbing me by the hand.

I blushed heavily as she lead me inside and Alec followed closely behind me and Silvally came bolting past me knocking Alec over and he ran into the house.

"Geez! Seriously Silvally?!"

Shouted Alec.

I sighed and helped Alec up.

When I got inside everyone was gathered in the living room and there were lights strung up in the living room.

"SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!"

Shouted everyone in unison.

I smiled and Silvally was running laps around the living room in excitement.

"Thanks guys! Is this why you guys had me runs errands?"

I asked.

"Well yeah I kept you busy moving furniture and I did a pretty good job."

Said Guzma.

"Until you arrested at the Pokemart and Aracel had to bail you out."

Said Plumeria.

"You had to tell him?!"

Shouted Guzma.

"Why doesn't this surprise me?!"

I said while smirking.

"Whatever happy birthday kid."

Said said Guzma patting me on the shoulder.

"Thanks!"

I smiled and then I looked at Lillian.

"You organized this entire thing correct?"

I asked.

"Well this was actaully your sister and Hayden's idea to surprise you but I am responsible for coordinating, for Selene coming and I ordered the lights. Mina ordered the cake but there's a funny story about that."

Said Lillian while giggling.

"Let me guess they spelled my name wrong."

I said.

"Well not exactly..."

Said Paul chiming in.

"Nope they gave us the wrong cake when Gold went to pick it up. so you have a cake that says rest In peace Edger 1955-2016."

I started laughing a little.

"Yeah we tried to get you another cake but then they said that it wouldn't be here until tomorrow so we just took the funeral cake home with us since the people who picked up our cake didn't bother to come back with our cake."

Said Lillian.

"It's okay I can look back on this and laugh."

I said.

Lillian laughed and smiled.

"well I'm glad you're okay with it. Happy birthday Gladion!"

She said while giving me a high five.

I smiled and high fived her back.

"Happy birthday Gladion!"

Said Lucas Hayden.

"Thanks thanks for staying and helping me look after Lillie while my other friends left me to go halfway across the world to another region."

I said glaring back at Lillian.

"I made a promise that we would all be back for your birthday and here we are!"

Said Lillian.

"Well I'm glad you guys came back!"

I said.

"We wouldn't miss celebrating your birthday for anything and by the way you need to open my gift first!"

Said Gold.

"No mine's the best!"

Said Lillian.

"You mean our gift since our's goes together!"

Said Alain to Lillian.

"Yeah I know that!"

Said Lillian.

"Actually Gladion needs to see my surprise first."

Said Uncle Garret.

Uncle Garret nodded as if telling someone to come out of the hallway.

Lillie walked into the hallway and then I saw Lusamine come out of the hall while Lillie lead her into the living room.

I didn't know what to feel I was shocked to see her. She didn't look any different except that her hair was shorter and reached to her shoulders. I quickly ran towards her and gave her a big hug.

"I'm so glad you made it home!"

I said while I'm the verge of tears.

Lusamine returned the hug and smiled at me.

"Me too."

She said.

"Great now you guys are going to make me cry!"

Said Guzma.

Everyone laughed and I turned to see Lillie smiling at me.

"You knew about this didn't you?"

I asked.

Lillie nodded and smiled at me.

I walked over and gave her a hug and she hugged back.

"Okay guys lets open gifts!"

Said Brandon.

I sat down on the couch next to Lusamine and Lillie sat on the other side of Lusamine and the Hayden sat down next to her. and then Selene sat next to me and I blushed.

I could see Rj giving me a turns up and Lillian was snickering. I glared at Lillian and she still continued to giggle.

"Okay open my gift first!"

Said Gold shoving a wrapped gift box in my face.

"Okay okay Gold if it will shut you up!"

I said.

I began to unwrap the box and there were several kinds of Pokeballs I haven't seen before.

"Woah what are these?!"

I asked.

"These are handmade poke balls from Johto. This is a heavy ball and a friend ball. The heavy balls you use on heavier Pokemon and the more likely you are to catch it. The friend ball works on any Pokemon and it helps make the Pokemon you catch with this ball friendlier to you faster."

Said Gold.

"Wow these are great thanks Gold!"

I said.

"I told you mine was the best."

Said Gold proudly.

Paul rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Okay Calem and Alain let's top Gold's gift."

Said Lillian.

"You have to open mine first, then Calem, then you have to open Lillian's last."

Said Alain.

"Okay why the order?"

I asked.

"Because our gifts go together."

Said Calem.

"Okay I'll open them in order."

I said.

I grabbed Alain's gift off of the table and began to unwrap it. Then there was a box and inside the box was a mega ring.

"Wow it's a mega ring! But there's no keystone."

I said.

"Open mine next."

Said Calem.

I nodded and unwrapped the gift and inside the box was a keystone.

"Okay I see where this is going."

I said.

I slipped the keystone into the mega ring and put the mega ring around my wrist.

"Wow this so cool!"

I said.

"Now open mine."

Said Lillian.

I nodded and opened Lillian's box. It was black and it had a stone that looked like a keystone. The stone was blue and black and it was on a black string. It looked like a necklace.

"Wow what's this for?"

I asked.

"That is a Lucarionite. You give this to your Lucario and when your bond is strong enough you can use mega evolution. Much like the trainer the your Pokemon also has to wear something like the mega ring so it can mega evolve. Give this necklace to Lucario and well that it you have to figure out the rest."

Said Lillian.

"Wow that's awesome!!! Thanks guys!!!"

I said.

I've always wanted to use mega evolution and now I can.

"Our first definitely topped Gold's."

Said Lillian giving Alain a fist bump.

"Great compared to your gifts mine is the most unoriginal!"

Shouted Guzma while pouting.

"Would you quit your whining?! I got him the same thing so don't whine!"

Said Plumeria.

"Open mine."

Said Lei handing handing me her's.

I nodded and opened it. Inside the box was a Pokemon egg. It was a sandy color and it had black stripes on it.

"Wow I really like this is great thanks Lei!"

I said.

"No problem!"

Said Lei while smiling.

I heard Hayden sigh and Lillie looked at Hayden with a concerned look.

"Okay now you have to open my gift!"

Said Barry.

I nodded and grabbed the gift off of the table. I opened the gift and inside was a black and red Poketch.

"Wow I've heard about one these! Thanks."

I said while putting on the Poketch.

I opened several gifts. Iona had given a me a ring that was for good luck and was from Lavere City, Uncle Garret had given me cash, Silver had gotten me a pair of skates, Aracel had gotten me a thunder stone, May and Drew had gotten me a Firestone, Serena had given me a big box of Pokepuffs, Ash had gotten me Pokemon egg, Dawn had gotten me an the coin toss for my Poketch, Misty gave a fishing rod and a lure ball from Johto, Lillie and Hayden gave me a Pokemon egg, Guzma had bought me a TM for Hyper Beam, Paul had gotten me a TM for Focus blast, Lucas had gotten me a TM for Giga Impact, Plumeria had gotten me a TM for Flamethrower, Rj had gotten me cash, VG had gotten me something from his home region in Farrum.

It was a weird cube thing. Rj said that it it would come in handy later.

Thania gave me a fairy type memory for Silvally, and Mina gave me some cash since she wasn't sure what I liked.

Lusamine and Selene were the last people to give me their gifts. Selene handed me a small box and smiled at me.

"Happy birthday Gladion."

She said while blushing.

I smiled and I took the gift.

I unopened the gift and inside the box was a Z-ring and there was a Steelium Z-Crystal inside.

"Selene? How did you-"

"The trial captains made an exception for you since they know that you have moved away and they trust you and I trust you..."

Said Selene.

I turned a bright shade of red and smiled.

"I love it thank you!"

I said while smiling.

She turned red and looked away. Lusamine tapped me on the shoulder and she handed me a small black box.

"I want you to have this. It used to be father's. It was my good luck charm for a while but I really want you to have it and mother would too."

Said Lusamine.

I looked at her and I took the box and opened and inside was a golden pocket watch.

I opened the watch and inside was a family photo on the other side of the lid next to the watch.

"Lusamine.... I love it thank you."

I said while giving her a hug.

Lusamine smiled and returned the hug.

"I'm glad you like it. I hoped that you would."

She said.

"Well I guess that's it. Who wants some funeral cake?!"

Said Lillian.

"I do!"

Said Ash.

"Of course you do when are you not hungry?!"

Said Serena while giggling.

"There's also brownies too."

Said Gold.

"Cake and brownies?!"

Asked Max in shock.

"Yay!"

Shouted Bonnie.

"Now you can only have one piece you know what happens when you have too much sugar?!"

Said May to max.

"Why do you have to be such a buzz kill?!"

Said Max.

May scowled at her little brother and Bonnie giggled.

"Well let's get some plates and we'll have some funeral cake!"

Said Lillian.

Everyone got up and off of the couch and gathered in the kitchen. While everyone else was in the kitchen Selene and I were still in the living room.

"So Gladion was this a good birthday?"

Asked Selene.

"Probably the best one I've ever had. This is the first time that Lusamine seemed genuinely happy and I think this was the first time for me too. Thanks for the Z-ring. I love it."

I said while putting it on my other wrist.

"Gladion I'm glad I came."

She said.

"Me too."

I said.

Selene turned a bright shade of red. Selene was about to lean and kiss me and I leaned in too.

"Hey lover boy?! Come on you get the first slice!"

Shouted Guzma interrupting our attempted kiss.

"GUZMA!!!!"

I shouted while blushing heavily.

"Well you heard him let's go."

Said Selene grabbing my hand.

Honestly this has probably been the best birthday that I've ever had...
