I walked into the office of my boss.
„I know we are friends but can you at least knock?" he said and I sat down in front of him playing with my fingers thinking about how I should tell him.
„Oh no I know that look you are about to drop a bomb I know it."
„You know me too well."
„No please don't. I am so happy today does it have to be today?"
„I don't want to work on this project." he looked so dumbfounded not sure if he heard right.

„You don't want to work...on the project... you thought of yourself?!"
„Yup that's what I am saying."
„I can't allow that."
„Please take me out of it. The others will do a great job." he got up going through his hair almost wanting to pull it out.
„Can you at least tell me the reason?" I sighed.
„Jeonghan..."
„The guy from the other company? What about him."
„He is the guy I once told you about... that high school friend."
„It's him?" he was so suprised and I nodded.
„He is the best talent in his company. He is leading the project from their side."
„The best talent? him? You are telling me he actually works instead of running after women?"

„Listen Sowon." he sat down in front of me.
„I know it's hard for you. But this is very important for this company and for me. I understand that it's not easy for you but can you endure it for a few months? I need you on this project." I am so stupid just like a little child telling the teacher I don't want to play with him because I don't like him. It's work we are doing here. How can I be so unprofessional and bring in my personal affairs. I am out of my mind.
„I am sorry I am must have been crazy. I will work on it don't worry." I smiled and got up to go out. When I left Jeonghan was standing there.

„Are you eavesdropping? I asked him.
„I didn't. I was waiting for you to come out." I walked past him.
„Don't quit this project." I stopped but didn't turn around.
„You think I don't know you? I can imagine clearly how hard you must have worked for this project and how many nights you must have stayed awake. So I won't ruin it for you. I will tell him that I won't do it so don't stop." I turned around quickly to stop him from entering.

„Wait!." he looked at me with a serious face putting his hands into the pockets of his pants. One of the things that never changed about him. When he didn't know what to do with his hands he would put them in his pockets. I smiled slightly.
„No need for that. I was crazy mixing my personal affairs with work. We will work together. So there is no need to talk with anyone. Let's work hard on this as you said it's really important to me."
„Don't worry I will do it with much care. You can count on me." he said smiling slightly.
„I am not sure if I can count on you but yeah let's work hard." I walked away to get an another cup of coffee I am so drained. I think I will need an jug of coffee.
