„I mean why didn't you have someone to share it with? You-„
„Have so many girls to eat with? You really talk like I change girls every few minutes." he said.
„So? They didn't eat it for you?"
„I didn't ask after all that reminded me of you."
„So you didn't want to be reminded of me?"
„How is Jungwoo doing?" I was suprised by his question.
„What?"
„I asked how Jungwoo is doing. I didn't see him until now."
„He is doing well. He is on a business trip right now." he nodded and I could hit myself. Why did I lie? Why didn't I just tell him we broke up?

„You guys should get engaged soon. You are already dating for like 10 years?"
„Enough about me. How is your girlfriend doing?" I asked to turn away from Jungwoo.
„I don't have one at the moment."
„That's surprising."
„You really think I can't live without women don't you?" he placed down his chopsticks and I just shrugged.
„You know it's traumatizing if you walk into the sports equipment room and you see your best friend kissing around wildly with the girl next class. After that I saw you kissing someone different the next day and then-„
„And then the girls ganged up and bullied you. Because you always talked to me and I told them that I don't know you." he looked at me seriously.

„We should go back. I still have work left to do." I said.
„Yeah let's go." We both didn't want to talk about it so we got up. I was about to pay but Jeonghan came in between.
„I will pay."
„No let's split it." I said.
„I forced you to come so let me pay." he paid and we walked back.

He was walking ahead in the company and I could see how all the girls were staring at him. I could only see his back but I was curious is he also looking at them? I shook my head.
„I must be crazy." I whispered and Jeonghan suddenly stopped and turned around.
„What did you say?" he asked.
„N-nothing I was talking to myself." he nodded and we got into the elevator.

„The girls were all looking at you did you notice?"
„Did they? I didn't pay attention to them." he was massaging his neck.
„Does your neck hurt?"
„Yeah from sitting. My neck and shoulders are aching."
The door openend and we walked back to our seats.

I shouldn't be like that...but it feels like back then. As if we are friends again and I liked it.
„I must be going crazy." I tried to concentrate on my work.

It was finally time to go home and when I looked over to Jeonghan's seat I saw that he was already gone.

I unlocked my car and was about to get inside but then I saw Jeonghan.
„I thought you left."
„I was about to but my car didn't start. I called someone to pick it up."
„How are you gonna go home?" I asked.
„I guess I am gonna take the bus." he was about to leave.

„Wait!" he turned around.
„I can take you home." his face suddenly lighted up.
„Really?" he ran over and quickly got into the car before I could say anything.
„Why did I say that?" I got in and fastened my seatbelt.
„I really thought the day is gonna end shitty. First the pain and now my car dying."
„Your pain still didn't go away?"
„It's even worse now." he leaned back and closed his eyes. I started the seat heater maybe it will help.
„Thanks."
„Sleep for a while if you want. Type your adress into the navigation. I will wake you up when we arrive."
„You are being so nice to me today." he didn't have any strength in his voice.
„Hurry up or I won't be that nice anymore."
„Alright alright." he typed it in and leaned back again.

„You know? It's weird seeing you drive." he said to me. He was half asleep.
„Why?"
„Remember back in high school? You said you won't get a license because you are too scared to drive yourself." I couldn't help but cringe when I heard that. Why do we do or say stupid things when we are young?
„Yup sadly I remember."
„You always said you will be the passenger princess."
„Life doesn't go as you want. In the end I had to get my license and stand on my own feet. I can't wait for someone to drive me if I can do it on my own.
„That's so cool of you." he said and seemed to fall asleep. I laughed.
„What's so cool about that? It's totally normal."

It's been 4 years since I got my license. When I started dating Jungwoo he always told me that he would drive me anywhere and that I don't have to get a license if I don't want to. He always drove me to work until 4 years ago he started finding excuses why he couldn't drive me. That's when I had to take the subway to work. That's when I decided I should get back to my senses and get a license. I am thankful that he always drove me. It must have not been easy for him but when I think about it around that time everything started to change. Less communication spending less time together. It all started back then and started to realize it just now.
