Echizen Ryoga smirked hard upon seeing the woman he would marry soon enough outside Ryoma's room. He went beside her and felt her fears. "You're afraid of me," he told her while she kept trying to get away. Atobe quickly tried his best to hold his anger towards him.

"I don't want you! Get away from me!" screamed Mirai.

He went closer to her and said, "I will marry you no matter what! You'll soon know how it goes for me. You'll soon learn discipline in Echizen Way!!!"

"Echizen Way???" she asked.

Suddenly, Nanjiroh came outside alongside his wife and told his son, "Why don't we settle this right? Most of all, remember that you are here inside a hospital. MOST OF ALL, KNOW YOUR POSITION SON!!!! YOU KNOW THAT MY UNCLE AND FATHER ARE DOING THIS FOR RYOMA!!!"

Ryoga flew daggers at him, "Him again? He's not even your real son!!! I am your son!!!"

Jiroh screamed, "RYOGA!!!! Do you want me to exile you out of Japan?"

Ryoga smirked, "Wasn't that better???? Shut up and listen to me, old man!!! Do you think I can accept what you did to me? Why don't you see me the way you see Ryoma??? You all consider him a prince but you all consider me a mistake!!!"

Shuichiro slapped him hard, "What you did and said is the reason why we never consider you in our family. Leave for now."

"I would leave with my future wife. I want Atobe Mirai to accompany me," Ryoga told them. After that, he held Mirai's right hand and dragged her out of sight away from the Atobes and Echizens.

After they have left the hospital and entered his car, Mirai looked at him while he put the keys on. The car's machine started and Ryoga began driving away from the underground parking lot.

"Where are we going?" Mirai asked, her voice shaking.

"Still scared of me?" he smirked.

Mirai stared at his eyes and understood everything. Ryoga was a mere victim of what happened in the past. His eyes were definitely sad and full of frustration and so, her heart began to warm up for him. "No... It's just that... Do you consider Ryoma your brother?"

Ryoga noticed that snow began around their surroundings and he has to slow down to avoid accidents. "He's innocent. He's my brother. I will never hate him just because my father is reaccepted in our clan but, he may have forgotten me already."

"I don't believe so... Also, we have to go back or else they may think that you kidnapped me," he smiled. Ryoga stopped the car near a fast food restaurant and told her to walk from there. "I don't... Mirai... tasukete kudasai....," tears slowly went down his eyes.

Mirai nodded and promised him, "I'll lift you back up... I promise."

Ryoga was truly surprised by her remark. After that, she quickly ran back to go to the hospital. Ryoga went inside the resto, bought food and ate happily. Thank you, father... Grandpa... You let me meet a beautiful girl I'll love.
