(A/N so guys I have recently fallen in love.... with Hamilton the musical. And I might make a bit of a story on that later but for now I kinda wanted to include some bits from Hamilton into this story here and there I already have an idea for the future chapters but yeah you might pick up some bits here and there. Anyway enjoy :) )

Ava sat in her small one bedroom apartment she sat in front of her mirror getting ready for her date with Bruce. She brushed through her long brunette hair before tying it up in a bun and braiding the sides of her hair up against the sides of her head. Just as she was finishing putting her make up on her phone went off.

"Hello?" On the other side was a familiar voice, it was Lily, a girl who Ava had met in her school years and had became like a sister to her.

"Hey there Ava, how's life been?" This made Ava smile to hear a friendly and familiar voice.

"It's been good, I've got a date tonight" Despite Lily not being in the room Ava could tell the girl was smiling. 

"Ooooooo who with?" 

"Bruce Wayne" There was silence on the other end of the phone. "Lily? Lily you there?" Suddenly there was a shrill squeal.

"Oh my gosh! Your going out with THE Bruce Wayne?! How!?" So Ava explained how the two of them met. Soon the time was coming when Bruce was coming to pick up Ava. "Oh before I go I'm coming down to Gotham in a few weeks so do you think we could meet up?" 

"Of course! I'll message you later" As soon as Ava hung up there was a knock on her door upon opening it there stood Bruce Wayne standing there in his suit. Ava didn't want to admit it but at that moment she felt her heart begin to beat a little faster and she had to hide a blush that was creeping on her face. Little did she know Bruce was having to do the exact same thing when he laid his eyes on her. He smiled and held his arm out.

"Shall we leave?" Ava despite finding this a little corny smiled and took his arm.

"We shall" They took Bruce's limo to a restaurant where they sat talking about there lives. They both felt like they understood each other growing up with no parents even if Bruce got to live in the mansion where as Ava grew up on the streets she still understood what having no parents would do to you. After the meal was paid for they took a stroll through the park Ava felt a bit wary not liking the fact that it was so late at night Bruce sensed this as he took his jacket off and put it around her placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. He had soon walked her back to her apartment.

"Well this is my place" Bruce looked at Ava almost expecting something and Ava knew what it was but instead she began to walk to the door.

"Wait, don't you wanna, you know..... take this upstairs?" She raised my eyebrow but walked towards him leaning in closer making him think she was gonna kiss him before whispering.

"Nope. If you really want me your gonna have to wait for it" She stepped back smirking before walking towards the door and heading inside not knowing that Bruce was smirking as well.
