Ava had been dating Bruce for just over two years now Lucy had come to visit and ended up staying with Ava by crashing on her sofa. Ava didn't mind in fact she was extremely happy to have Lucy staying over. They would spend nights talking and catching up with each others life's and Lucy would talk to Ava about Bruce and how their dates had been going. 

Their dates had actually been getting better and better with them taking things slow to get to know each other. One or two dates were them spending some time at each other's houses but it never escalated. Except for one night at Bruce's that once Lucy found out about she didn't let Ava forget about. 

Bruce had shattered Ava's first opinion of him since the first time she met him. Instead of seeing a playboy billionaire she saw a sweet, kind and protective guy. On this day she was reading a book in front of the TV that Lucy was watching who was resting her head on Ava's legs when Ava's phone went off. Looking at her phone she had a text from Bruce.

"Hi, you free tonight?" She smirked and replied sassy.

"Oh, I don't know I think I have a date with this very handsome guy" Even though Ava couldn't see Bruce she knew he was smiling at this.

"Ha ha and would you be meeting this handsome guy at Wayne Manor?" 

"Most definitely" They finished talking like this when Ava looked at the clock and noticed the time had gone by and Lucy had fallen asleep on her legs. Ava gently moved her off her legs and gently placed her on the sofa covering her with a blanket. Ava got dressed in her favourite vintage dress. She had worn it on one of their other dates and Bruce had been one of the first few people to like her style. 

After getting ready Ava brushed her hair into a low pony tail and left Lucy a note before getting a taxi. Once arriving to the Wayne manor she walked up the stairs where Alfred opens the door she smiled politely. 

"Ah, hello Alfred. How have you been?" He smiled kindly back at her.

"I've been very well, Miss Ava, I believe Master Bruce is waiting for you in the Living room" Alfred showed her to the room where there was a large fireplace that had been light Bruce in front of it. He turned around and smiled at Ava making her smile happily back at him. Ava could feel a slight blush on her cheeks as she walks up to Bruce who takes her hand in his. 

"Ava, after these two years I feel like I've gotten to know you really well and I've gotten to fall in love with you completely." He gets to his knee making Ava gasp softly covering her mouth with her hands. "Ava, will you do me the honours of becoming my wife?" Ava could feel tears prick at her eyes.

"Y-Yes" She managed to get out before going to her knees with Bruce as he chuckles whilst he looks like he is trying to stop tears himself as he places the ring on her finger. They both chuckle before he places his hand on the side of her face and gently brings her in for a gentle kiss.
