Some of you non-roleplayers may think it's weird to delve into roleplaying, or you just don't like it. Well... okay.

This chapter is for all of you who may not be the greatest at roleplaying and want to improve! This is for most fandoms so don't get the wrong idea :)

First when roleplaying you always want to find out how the other person roleplays. Are they a five word wonder? An essay writer? Or just in the middle. Any of those can be pretty annoying except the middle one but whatever they do, just mimic them!

If they are a five word wonder not driving the story anywhere by looking around then you just sneeze. EASY!

If they are the essay writer you never want to write more than them because they will make it longer themselves!

If they are in the middle, then you be in the middle.

When roleplaying I suggest you follow the rules or face the consequences. Using common sense will help with this.

Something that bothers a lot of people is when you use text shorts like "U, w/, gtg, brb" in the roleplay. You can defiantly use it for out of roleplaying text.

Leading me to my best point, when talking out of the roleplay make sure to use something that surrounds the outside words so no one gets confused.

Grammar in roleplays isn't as important but if you want to impress the grammar folks then try. It's not to important unless it's so bad people don't know what you just said.

Another thing, some public roleplays prefer roleplay chain comments because they are lazy, well don't do that in a public roleplay only do it in an individual roleplay.

Also when doing tagging roleplay, don't be lazy, actually tag people or they won't think as highly of you (maybe I'm the only one 😅)

Don't God mod, even if it's your roleplay don't do it. In fact if it's your roleplay actually try your hardest to follow your rules that you made of you expect others to follow them. I get when times are hard and you do need to break them but don't make it constant.

Don't try and make your character a special snowflake. It will happen naturally where people are okay with it or it doesn't happen. Does it just bother me when people do that? Probably but this is my book and my advice so...
