Over the next few weeks Betty started to feel sick a lot. Jughead being the amazing boyfriend he was, doted on her hand and foot as well as her friends. Kevin took her to the doctors, Veronica had brought magazines and movies for her to watch and Archie had kept her in ice cream. One morning after about a week of Betty being sick her and Veronica were the only ones in their apartment. After Betty had emerged from the bathroom she found Veronica at the table painting her nails. "B I swear this sickness should've gone by now, are you sure you're not pregnant?" Veronica joked. Even though Betty knew she was joking, Betty paled, her and jughead hadn't been the safest recently and all the symptoms made sense. "B? What's wrong?" Veronica asked. "I think I'm pregnant" Betty said.

Veronica had gone to the store to buy a test and Betty took it. She sat on the floor of the bathroom waiting for the result. After two minutes she picked up the test: positive. She was pregnant. Suddenly thoughts were flying around in her head. She was happy and scared and excited and nervous all at the same time but mostly: how would jughead react. Betty showed Veronica the test and her best friend was over joyed, wrapping her up in a hug and squeezing her hard. "Can you call jughead and tell him to come home" Betty asked. When jughead came home Betty quickly pulled him into the bedroom and shut the door. "Betts what's going on?" Jug said concerned. "I have to tell you something" she said. "Okay...". Betty took the pregnancy test out of her drawer and placed it in his hands. Jughead just looked at it shocked. "Are.. are you happy?" Betty asked, scared that he hadn't said anything. Suddenly she was up in the air as jughead had pulled her into a hug and spinning her around before kissing her hard, with all the passion her could. "I'm going to be a dad!" He beamed " and you're going to be a mom!". "So you're happy?" Betty said wiping away the tears from her face. "I'm so so so happy baby!" He said, reassuring her. They spent the next hour laying on their bed in a haze of happiness talking all about their baby and the future.

When Kevin and Archie came home that night the couple broke the news to everyone else. "Guys we have a big Announcement" Jug said and Veronica clapped her hands excitedly knowing what was coming. "I'm pregnant" Betty smiled. Kevin and Archie were just as excited and everyone shared hugs and kisses and everyone was over the moon, ready for the new addition to their family.
