yukino's pov~

I walked into school with a frown on my face. Everyone else was smiling and chatting, excited for the new year. I knew better than to fake a smile, cause this is the beginning of h*ll. I walked to my locker, number 286. Right when I put my stuff in, I felt someone look over my shoulder.

" can I help you?" I asked, looking back to see this blonde guy with a big stupid grin on his face.

" hi there! I'm sting!" He shouted while waving at me over and over again.

I simply just started to walk away.

" w-wait! Please don't leave!!!!" He shouted while chasing after me.

I started to run two, eventually I lost him. Like, ten hallways later. I checked the clock and it's been 20 minutes, good thing I got here 25 minutes before school. Also, I'm glad I lost him, he was starting to creep me out with all his positivity. So I decide to walk around and explore, and then the next thing I know is that it was time for class. Thankfully, I manage to get their in time since it was so far away. But sadly, when I got there, there was only one empty seat left next to, can you guess, that weirdo sting. I just sighed and through my stuff on the ground and sat down.

"Hello class, I am Mrs. Libra. Your ELA teacher. And today, I would like you all to write 10 things you love about your selves to share with the class. Make sure it isn't any thing to personal, or inappropriate!" Mrs. Libra Said while giving a excited smile.

Everyone started cheering and chatting about what they were going to put. Me on the other hand, I was stumped. I couldn't think of anything to put down. What can I say, my life sucks. I hate it! I'm bad luck and I'm a pathetic ugly filthy piece of garbage. So what is their to love about me? Nothing!

" hey there, what do you think your gonna put down?" I heard a familiar voice say.

"Huh?"

I turned to see the weirdo, aka sting. He had a huge goofy grin and already had five things down.

" oh, it's you. The creep with the stupid grin and way to peppy attitude who chased me earlier." I said with my normal emotional less voice and face.

I saw him start to sulk.

" you think I'm a creep?" He asked.

" yup." I said while blankly staring at the board.

I then saw him look at me.

" ok, I guess we started off on the wrong foot."

" you chased me around the halls two seconds after you introduced yourself to me, who might I remind you, is a total stranger."

" yeah, I guess it wasn't the best way to approach a person." He said while his sweat dropped.

" nahhhhhhhh, really? I didn't know that." I said sarcastically.

"Really?" He asked confused.

" I was being sarcastic." I said plainly. I then saw him smile.

" I know!" He said cheerfully.

I simply rolled my eyes as he started to grin.

" hey, since we got off on the wrong foot, then why don't we just start over! Hi, I'm sting!" He said smiling.

I then raised my hand.

" yes miss agruia?" Libra asked.

" can I switch seats?" I asked.

I then saw stings face go from happy to shock, and then shock to sad.

" no." was all she said.

I sighed, then I turned to sting.

"Yukino."

" what?" He said confused.

I then rolled my eyes and held out my hand.

" the names yukino." I said.

He then smiled and shook my hand.

"It's great to finally meet you!"

"Huh?" I said confused.

" oh right, I probably should explain. We're locker mates!" He said smiling.

"Greeeeaaaaaat." I said in my emotionless voice. I then saw him sulk again. I couldn't help but crack a very small smile. He looked a little shock, but then smiled.

" Wow, your really pretty when you smile." He said.

I then let out a small laugh as my were cheeks tinted with a slight blush.

" me? Pretty? that's hilarious." I said.

Before he could reply Mrs. Libra clapped her hands together trying to get our attention.

" ok! Times up! It's been 30 minutes. Let's hear what you all got!" Mrs.Libra said.

I then looked down at my empty paper. I was going to get a zero for my first grade. Erza and kagura are going to kill me. See, what did I tell you? I'm going through h*ll.

"Ok, we'll go boy then girl in alphabet order. First will be sting Eucliffe. Then will be yukino aguria"

Well, I'm screwed.

Sting's pov.

I walked up in front of the class smiling.

" oh my gosh! He's sooooo cute!"

" let's not forget he is the team captain of the soccer team, along with rouge!"

" also he stands up for people! Remember that guy bora! He beat the cr@p out of him for talking bad about fairy tail!"

" he is so cool!"

I just smiled as the girls kept fawning over me. Well, all except one. The one who just frowns and rolls her eyes. That yukino sure seems strange. but she is cute, so i guess it evens up.

" ahem, if your fan squad is done, mr. Eucliffe." Libra said a little annoyed.

" yup! Ok! Anyway, the five things I like about myself!

1. My awesome soccer skills! Remember that goal I made from 40 feet away from the net while being doubled teamed! I mean seriously! How cool was that?!

2. My blue eyes, I got them from my moms side.

3. My earring, it was my dads, he gave it to me before he left......" I said, after that last sentence, I sighed. " ahem, sorry about that. Anyway,

4. Being a fairy tail student. I wouldn't want to be anything else.

And finally,

5. Sitting next to an interesting and beautiful girl." I said and winked at yukino, who was confused and looking around. I saw the other girls glare at her.

" sting......... Just sit down." Libra said and sighed, shes use to my antics and flirting in front of the class. " also answer any questions anyone ask you please."

" yes ma'am!" I said and sat next to yukino. Who raised her hand up again.

" yes Mrs.aguria"

" um, I'm confused, which girl is he talking about? I don't see him sitting next to any pretty girls." Yukino said.

Me and the rest of the class sweat dropped. Including Mrs.libra.

" heh? You can't be serious!" A random girl yelled in the back.

" um, Ms.Aguria. have you ever thought that he might be implying you?" She asked.

" ha, ha. That's so funny. " she said in a sad voice.

I just looked at her weirdly. I then heard Mrs.Libra sigh.

" whatever, anyway, yukino. Your up next." She said.

I saw her walk up nervously.

" this project is impossible." She said blankly.

" eh?!" Me and the rest of the class said in unison.

" what do you mean the project is impossible?! It's suppose to be the easiest project of the year?!" Libra shouted.

" well, it's not."

" but all you have to do is say 5 things you like about yourself!"

" Exactly! That's why it's impossible!"

" why?!" Mrs.libra said angry.

Ok, what's going on?

" and I swear if it's cause you can't just choose five things-"

" that's not why...... It's cause I hate my stupid f***ed up life, I'm just a filthy piece of trash that should have never been born and died already cause she's so pathetic." Yukino said in a serious and 'depressing yet at the same time angry' tone.

I was taking back by this. So was Mrs.libra.

" come on, there must be something you like about yourself! Like, your pretty!"

" no, I'm a hideous piece of garbage, and I have been told that multiple times before, I also tell myself that every day."

" uhhhhh, what about your friends?"

" a stupid @$$ b¡+ch like me is unworthy of friends."

"What about just being here?"

" and suffering through h*ll and back sounds fun to you, waking up every day, knowing your a stupid piece of imperfection that everybody hates and a ugly coward, feeling like you useless and un needed and just worthless seems nice to you? Cause honestly, I tried to commit suicide before, if it wasn't for kagura I wouldn't be here right now." She said seriously.

I was shocked at what I was hearing, this girl really hates herself.

" what about your family?" Mrs.libra asked a little nervous.

" I love my family with all my heart."

" great, so why don't you put that down." Mrs.libra asked.

" I can't, I have no family left. My father abandon me and my sister and my mother when I was very young, and when I was just a little kid, my mother was murder and died in front of me as my sister was kidnapped and I was to scared to even move. Pathetic right?" She said.

I was shocked, everyone was! This girls life is messed up, no wonder why she was ignoring me and leaving before I even had a chance to talk to her.

But what really shocked me was when I saw a tear roll down her face.

" uhhhh...... I'm sorry I asked Mrs.aguria. You can skip out on this project if you want." Mrs.libra said, unsure of what to do.

" don't apologize or pity me, just makes me realize even more of how pathetic I am." She said as she walked back to her seat and sat down.

She was looking down and sniffiling, I could tell she was still crying, others went up, but I couldn't listen, all I could do was focus on yukino. I can't help but feel bad for her. When the bell ringed, I saw her stand up and run out of the class.

"D@mn, that girl is a freak!" I heard someone in the back say.

" totally pathetic, I bet she just made it all up so she could skip out on today's task. What a dumb @$$ little f**king b¡+ch!" I heard another say.

" shut up! You have no idea what your talking about you idiots!" I snapped at them. Everyone was shocked and nervous.

" o-ok sting! We get it! We will never do that again!" They said cowering in fear.

" good, cause if you do.... I'll beat the Sh¡+ out of yah!" I growled as the two guys ran away. I tsked and walked out of the classroom and went to my locker. I found yukino their writing in a journal. "hey, yukino. You ok?" I asked her.

She simply just looked up at me and then looked down at her book.

"Tsk, is there really even a point of asking that, idiot." She muttered under her breath, but I heard thanks to my super hearing.

" excuse me for trying to be nice."

" it's doesn't matter anyway. Your just like the rest, you think I'm a ugly freaky dumb@$$ b¡+ch, don't you?" She said glaring at me.

I couldn't help but stumble back a little when she glared at me.

" w-why would you think that?!"

" simple, cause when one has been treated like this for so long, it grows onto them and they start to realize what's been going on." She said. " do you think I'm stupid? I know your just pretending to be nice, so just get a life and then leave. Me. ALONE!" She yelled at me then ran off, faster then before. D@mn she's fast!

I was stuck their with my jaw dropped onto the ground, frozen by what just happened. This girl, yukino. She's a mystery, and I still haven't found all the clues. Their is something she's not mentioning to me, to all of us.......

But their is still one main question in my head, it is.......

why does she look so familiar?!
